Damn, that's quite expensive for Brazilian standards.

There isn't just one Brazilian standard. Most of the clients are Brazilians who can afford it.

If my math is correct, that's R460 right off the bat even before I get see the girl naked.

270 is for the drinks, food, the band and the house. It wouldn't be very good business plan to offer all that free. They have rents and salaries to pay. It also helps to keep wrong kind of people out.

That would be about twice the average price, based on my actual, recent experience.

Is Cafe Photo that pricey or was it just the length of time. I did have a Casarao girl last year tell me she used to charge 1000 at Cafe Photo. Seems so high. My datapoints so far (and I'm sure there are those that will accuse me of overpaying) are: Scandallo 700. Bomboa 2 at 600 and 1 at 500. All were super good looking 8.5+ material.

A price of 700 is too high, even for Scandallo. Should be more in line with 500 to 600. Went with a really gorgeous scandallo girl who started out asking for 800 (said that's what Japanese guys were paying her). Do I look Japanese to you LOL? We went up for 600, but I also had some 500 sessions with other hotties. One girl went as low as 400 (and invited me to go to a swing club in Moema with her). I declined on both counts as she was not my type, and definitely no more than a 6 (thus the lower asking price). You will pay less at the clinicas for sure. A lot less. But then, the girls at the clinicas aren't as hot. According to my tastes they on average just don't look as good. I have the clinica optics average at a 6 (just below my required minimum 7), whereas per my tastes the night boites average is an 8.

The entry is R270 and they give you a little wristband with a number. Each time u order they make you sign and they note ur number. Yes it is credited against the 270 but it goes pretty quickly.

As to the room, you could walk to the Mercure. But the on-site rooms are only R190 and very convenient. Great mirrors on ceiling and walls. Worth it to me. Get your girls number if you really like her and have her to your hotel for a longer session the next day.

As far as service and time you need to negotiate beforehand. You can use google translate. I didn't discuss service with my first girl and got CBJ (boo) and my second we discussed BBBJ and CIM ahead. I have a small advantage speaking some Portuguese but I am sure google translate will work.

The CBJ move by your first girl was definitely shady. I'd be OK with CBJ if it was a clinica girl. But for such a high end place, I wouldn't accept anything less than a complete service. Just goes to show you can't assume things even with the Brasileiras, especially at these high end places.

It looks like I'll be staying close to Bomboa at Hotel Mercure (Pinheiros). I'll be in town for about five or six nights on a work trip, with what will likely be an attentive local host who will be hyper-scheduling my time and a few business colleagues who will want to hang out with me, and I don't want any of them to know anything about my recreational activities. My guess is that I'll be able to have two or three adventures, but timing could be tight, and I might have to jump on short notice, without being able to schedule it in advance. I really don't know how much "alone time" I'm going to have.

It's my first time in the country. I'm lousy at navigating public transportation, and won't have the time to get lost, so I'm not keen on leaving Pinheiros.

So, a few questions.

1. Is there a clinica near that area? There's something called Clinica Caribe, but I searching the forum hasn't turned up any reports. (Are all clinicas monger friendly, or are some just for legit massages? And is it like AMPS, where you signal your extracurricular intentions in various established signs? If so, how?.

1- Clinica Caribe has been renamed to "Clinica Paulista", still in the same place. Did you signup at Gpguia? Look for "CLínica Paulista (ex- Caribe, ex-La Isla)"

2- Nope, just use the hotel right in the same building. I advise against this conduct of "bring the girl to your place.

3- Yup, you can use the funds to pay for drinks for everyone, not just girls.

4- Well, just choose the girl, ask for the price and "I want to 2 hours with you, how much it costs for me? Sometimes the girls will double the rate, sometimes 75%. Treat her well, and she will treat you right.

"Clinicas" is a good route for anyone concerned about security. "Boates" you will be OK inside. Outside not so much.

So went to Cafe photo last night since I was curious. Was not expecting to session as I had to work but stuff happens. I liked the idea of the girls not coming to me so I can chill and check out the talent. 150 to get in. For a Tuesday not bad with probably 50 girls an significantly less guys. I am very particular but found a Morena exactly my type. She quoted 900 rs I got here down to 800 rs no time limit at my hotel. She stayed with me for about 2.5 hours. One of the best I had. I'm not big into the club scene, though I understand it is special in SP and I should try to experience it at least once. Also, I'm relatively picky, and a little concerned that the clinica route might be uninspiring. Not knowing the language or landscape, the indie route has its share of concerns as well.

As to clinicas near the Mercure not really. BUT Uber is super cheap here. An hour ride from the airport was under $20. So just hop an Uber and don't sweat it.

My preference is the Boates and U cannot go wrong with BomBoa which is literally a three minute walk from the Mercure. The entry is R270 and they give you a little wristband with a number. You can see the price and BBBJ / DFK rates for each clinica based on many thousands of forum reports. For example, right away you can see that at Brooklin about 85% of the sessions include kissing while at Kahunas it appears to be less than 20%. Nevertheless (for some reason) less than 5% of guys marked their visit to Kahunas as "negative".

Some caveats about this data:

1. The "anal" and "oral" columns appear to be currently mixed up on this page. The real order is Oral / Anal / Kissing.

2. The price listed is for forum members. As a tourist you might have to pay more.

3. There is a bias for forum members to mark their visits as positive because they are given discounts. Consequently, figures are exaggerated..
