I am a bit like you, I don`t really care how much I spend, I stay in the best hotels and enjoy fine food. In my case, generally, it is my company that picks up the tab, which is fine when visiting brazil, but not much of a bonus in angola or mozambique. In brazil I rarely go out in sao paulo because I do not know it well and it is so big!!! I prefer to wait until I get to Rio which is a village compared to SP.

Now my delicate question, how does it work with these two guides you have? Are you paying them? Do you pick up all of the costs? They seem to be available to you at any time, even to take you for haircut? they have no job??

Please advise because maybe mongering could be easy in SP, when you know people like this.

After Ju had left and I had slept a bit more I woke up, showered and took a taxi to a restaurant close by called Dui. Its the new restaurant of a famous young chef called Bel Coelho. She has been working in Europe for a couple of years after she closed her previous SP restaurant Sabuji. The restaurant has two areas. One big tapas and snack area downstairs and one smaller gourmet and dinner area upstairs. I chose to eat at the upper floor. We decided to move on an try another of my favourite bars - Bar Mare Alta in Vila Olimpia. This is an oyster and seafood bar with great drinks and nice eyecandy. When we arrived at Rua Quata it turned out that Bar Mare Alta had closed and a new bar had opened in its place. It didn't appeal to us. The afternoon passed while one caipirinha after another found its way to our table. Fact is, SP is a great city for women.

Even though I have been returning to SP at least once every year, I have not found it worth it to put in all the work to write reports on this forum because of the feedback I get that my activities are not all that interesting to the members on this forum based on the cost of what I do. This trip was different since I decided to drop most of the fancy restaurants, leave my suits at home, bring a limited amount of money and let a Brazilian very well known to the mid-end of the SP mongering scene take me around to finally find out if less money and more focus on performance than appearance would give me a better time.

I landed at Guarulhos on a Thursday evening at 18:40. Very little trafic at the airport, no line at the passport and immigration control had me out of the customs and finding my regular driver Luiz wating for me outside in the arrival hall in no time. Luiz took me first to a place where I could exchange my USD to Reais before we dropped by my Brazilian friend Vatel69s appartement. Vatel69 joined me to my hotel where I checked in, showered and changed clothes. He also made sure with the reception at the hotel that it would be no problem and no charge to bring girls to my room. The hotel this time wasn't my usual Gran Estanplaza in Berrini but the Estanplaza Paulista in Jardins. The hotel is not nearly in the same class as the Gran Estanplaza but its location close to Avenida Paulista was very practical because of the proximety to Vatel69s appartement.

It has changed its name to W Garden. The ownership and staff are changed. If you liked the now extinct W.E. on Rua Peixoto Gomide, W Garden would now be the place to visit in SP. Ownership is the same as W.E. and the staff is also partially the same. What is changed however is that there are no rooms on site to bring the girls and the girls work freelance. They are no longer employed by the club. This basicly means that you are free to negotiate the price with the girls. You will however have to pay an exit fee to take the girls out in addition to the entrance fee to get in. Because of this the total price will in most cases end up a little higher than at W.E.

The restaurant itself looks both on the inside and outside like a normal residential house and except for private rooms on two different floors most diners are served at the small bar outside the kithcen.
