Rodeio SH. Rua Haddock Lobo, 1498, Jardins. This Michelin 1 star restaurant served the best steak that I had on my entire trip. It was not only very tasty, but it was so tender I could have cut it with a butter knife.

Fogo de Cho Jardins. Are. Augusta, 2077 I liked this place too. Great food, but the meat is served Brazilian style, so you sample a lot of different cuts of beef instead of having one large steak. I prefer having one large cut of meat sitting in front of me. Ha Ha.

Margherita Pizzeria. Alameda Tiet, 255 Jardins great pizza I went there with my favorite call girl of my trip on our last night together. What a great gal!

So, that is about it. 3 no restriction nights and I was able to sampled 3 restaurants. The closures drastically cut down on my usual eating patterns and culinary explorations on this trip and they had a much greater negative impact on my dining than the closures had on my mongering thanks to the call girls and SP Clincas.

I wanted to go somewhere far now that I could finally take Uber. I've been using this site to look for good eats: https://www.eater.com/maps/best-sao-paulo-restaurants. And went to La Guapa. It's completely overrated, or I might've had too high of expectations. The Uber there cost about $20 REAL. Lunch combo (1 empanada, 2 oz mocaccino, and chocolate ice cream) cost $23 REAL. It was good, but not worth going out of the way for. It was a really light lunch and I wasn't full, but 10 minutes after finishing my meal, I was no longer hungry. I think this is how I should be eating. LOL.

I was craving pizza for dinner, but couldn't find any decent ones open close by. Just started walking around and ended up at Bar Roma. Got their Bife stroganoff. It was ok. None of the meals so far have impressed me much. Toro, O'Burder (by Samariding), Corrientes 348 (Nordico), and Miss Saigon are on the top of my restaurants list. If anyone knows a good pizza place close by, please let me know!

Also, there are some good restaurants in the basement level of Shopping Morumbi (the food court is very good but there are also sit down restaurants around the corner). Barbacoa is good. Also, upstairs in the mall is an argentine restaurant called Pobre Juan. It's very good as well. The mall should be 10 min or so from where you are by Uber.

That might have been the case pre-pandemic but now they ask you to order if you sit in mostly empty restaurant. That maybe the reason why during my recent visit the huge restaurant remained empty even though the smoking area and small bar areas were packed.

I went to scandallo a few times in January right after their code red was lifted and no one really pressured me to buy anything. You get like 130 r consumable out of the 300 r entrance fee (I forget the exact numbers so I could be off) and a steak was like 110 r so I would always get something like that to eat at the restaurant area after I scouted the place and girls (all the local restaurants were closed by 9 pm so I made it my dinner for the night) I'm not a drinker so I would just get cokes for like 10 r. The waiters would often come by after a 30 mins or so and ask if I wanted another drink but I would just say I'm good. None of the girls asked for any drinks or food when I invited them to sit down with me. I offered them a drink or some appetizer since I got girls who were obviously not pros and were students looking for extra cash. I liked the restaurant area with it's high ceilings and low light ambient with jazz music playing in the background. Clinicas

I was in the Jardin area after lunch so decided to check out a few clinicas and apartments. I have to say, this was more of a learning experience than anything else. Up til this point, I've only visited the clinicas near my hotel (Bourbon Convention).
