I think one can still weed out the bad ones in the club. There are other factors that influence service. It is not obvious in this forum but it is more obvious in Medellin forum where members will discuss preparation like food, drinks, music, popcorn. I think two tier pricing has always existed as long as the club does not regulate it. Last year, I was paying 500 but some members were posting much higher prices. I think the current pricing just added a layer of dishonesty. A girl I went with for 500 last year now wants 1000 but went down to 500 automatically and the exchange last year was at 5. 3. Basically I guess all regulars that I know like Bianca can be had at old price that is 50% off. The less attractive ones are more honest and start with 500.

I have the most sessions with Scandallo girls but the best sessions I have are at Tangara. That is by far the best place for me and ironically it is the least expensive. The place is a little rundown. What make me go back are the number of girls they have and the new girls they have are just unmatched by any clincas. The best BBBJs, the best camel slides all are from Tangra. I still remember the girl teasing me repeatedly while doing came slide, do you want condom? do you want condom?; I kept answering NO NO NO. My answer is no in general. The problem is how do we agree on what is the same quality? Last year I posted this same picture, and there was at least one member saying one can find 20 - 30% of girls in Scandallo that look like her. But I saw absolutely none the time I was there up to this day. That just show how each one of us see beauty differently. LOL.

It's like some unique luxury rental properties that cost a fraction of the price of US properties but can command high rental price similar to US properties. It is because it's uniqueness and in limited supply and they are only targeted to certain type of customers. These properties will be in demand as long as there are sufficient quaintly of customers even if it is small so it does not matter what general public think.

Interesting observations. I noticed similar trends. An uptick early this year and the hotter girls asking for more.

From my personal experiences, tier 1 girls generally settle for 800 to 1000 and tier 2 girls settle for 500 to 800 for ST / HR). The funny thing is that the few girls who won't take 1000 for ST / HR (usually insist on at least 1200 to 1500 for ST / HR) and thus consider themselves Tier 1 or upper Tier 1, I only consider them to be tier 2 level. So it was easy for me to walk away. Just goes to show different strokes for different folks and everyone has a different sense of beauty.

Inflation for the girls also, it now cost them 300 R to enter if they don't go 5 days a week. So between uber and their cost to go to work it could easily cost them 500 that night and they have no choice but to bump up their prices as well.

Quality control is why they bumping the price for girls to enter, this way they ensure the girls don't freelance and come to work 5 days a week and the weed out lower tier girls. Girls that can't commit to going will end up going to other boates where they have less restrictions or high fees to enter.

This gives them even more reason to prefer to talk to gringos since they know the guy is there to fuck and spend money.

Interestingly this 2-tier system does not exist at Bomboa where all the girls seem happy with 700 br or a little less.

Pay in advance is often bad. I had a bad one in SP from a well known site and I didn't even go to the sex part. I just wrote it off reported on gpguia.

I had several twitter sessions. I didn't go for the well known ones and none of them match the pictures but most sessions were good. In most my encounters, they all seem to be supported by a business operation because the setup were professional, frequently spacious one bedroom in the nicer area, towels and everything cleanly wrapped. I caught this picture with the girl I just sessioned with going out with a man while waiting for Uber.

You are a good negotiator. I am very impressed. 400 is a record! I have never thought about going below 500. lol. I think I know the girl you talked about. Spoke a little English. Unless it is an older menu / dining concept, DOM only have 1 regular tasting menu and 1 vegetarian tasting menu. It was never large and small (less courses) during my 5-6 visits in the previous 18 months.

The reviews indicated there were two different menus a few years ago so they changed.

I went for lunch hoping to get something quick and different. But was told lunch and dinner are the same and the vegetarian option. I walked in at 12 PM without appointment and was the only customer for a short while. By the time I finished, there were about 5 tables total. I think they will attract more people on lunch break if they have smaller menu but the seating does not seem to work for larger volume and may eat into their profit otherwise.

Hi Socrates, I know how you feel about SP. I am heading back down there in less than 3 weeks, and I am starting to get stoked. It will be my 4th 6 week visit in less than 2 years. What can I say? I love the girls. I keep putting off my return to Thailand and the PI on account of SP girls. Ha Ha.

I am sorry to hear about your Marina experience, but sometimes guys like us need a poor session once in a blue moon to remind us not to take things too much for granted and to remember that nobody walk can on water. Lotus Club: your description matches my memory. I have only been there once. Friendly managemnt. The place looked 1st class and I am sure a lot of money went into the renovation, but where are the high-quality girls? Without plenty of lookers a place is nowhere. What a shame because I wanted to like Lotus Club. I wanted the place to be great.

Cafe Photo: I have not been there yet, and your review is not very encouraging. LOL. But since I am staying at the Hyatt for one of the weeks that I am in town, I will probably give it a look see anyway and if it is no good, I will head over to Bomboa or Scandallo.

Casarao: It is on my bucket list this trip for sure, although it was on my bucket list on my last visit too. I don't know; a lot of BM's like the place, so I got to go and see what everybody is talking about, but the hours don't work for me. When I am in SP I like to be on the scent from around 9 pm to midnight. That means I have already found a girl or girls by the time Casarao starts rocking. I don't like the idea of holding off until midnight to begin my night, so my plan will be to hit Scandallo 1st, score, and then after my 1st tryst of the evening, head over to Casarao and see what happens. I love 2 fer nights.

Scandallo: "Still the king of boates. Not even a close contest. " Yeah, you got that right! Scandallo is the main reason I am not even bothering with RJ this upcoming visit. It is a shame, but RJ has nothing to offer on the same level. To top it off I have a favorite Scandallo girl that I am just smitten with. We get together mainly at my hotel nowadays. Sunday is our date night.

Inflation 1: 5 star hotel prices are going through the roof. The Renaissance & Intercontinental are asking more than $250/ night and they are not even that good, IMHO, especially the Intercontinental which is in need of a renovation. But I am going to the well on this upcoming visit, using ALL my Marriot, Intercontinental points and vouchers. That takes care of the 1st 2 weeks. Then I move south to the much more reasonably priced Hyatt and to very reasonable & comfortable Brazilian hotels in Itaim Bibi.

Another fantastic SP trip under my belt (10th within the past 18 months), and I keep experiencing, seeing, hearing, learning new and amazing things!

I think my SP hobbying trips have finally plateaued. Prior to this trip, every one of my previous trips was overall an improvement over the previous one. It's not necessarily a bad thing, as I still had an amazing time and this most recent trip still ranks as top 3 to 5 among all my SP trips.

Here are some of the new experiences / insights that I gleamed from this trip. I'll start with the bad and move on to the good or mundane.

Rotten Apple in Terra daa Garoa" / Land of Drizzle:

I've had a handful of meh / average experiences in Brazil and all of them were from either a Moema clinicas, a more local boate like Bamboa, online girl or a RJ tier 1 terma. Therefore, it was truly surprising to me that my FIRST truly bad experience I had with a girl in Brazil, where I just ended the session and told her to leave, was from Scandallo.

I'll preface that I take a lot of the blame for my bad experience, as I broke a lot of my personal rules when doing my due diligence with this girl and ignored so many warning signs, and made countless excuses for her.

I was chilling at around 2:30 am Friday with some ISG bros at Scandallo and was about to call it a night and maybe do a last call type of deal. I had only slept about 4 hours the previous 48 hours so was dead tired. I saw this pretty petite branca morena dancing with this tall model like girl I've had before. She had good dance moves and piqued my curiosity. I figured since she was dancing with and seemed to be a friend with a girl I had a good time with in the past, who was very cool and chill, that she would also be a cool and chill girl. Wrong! Assumptions are the mother of all fuck ups!

I broke my first rule by not spending a decent amount of time talking to her to get a read on her. I've played a lot of poker and think I can read people pretty well. Instead, I cut right to the chase with her and talked business after a brief introduction. I told her I wanted a 3 HR session and what I wanted during the sessio. My requests are nothing freaky. All standard stuff GFE stuff that I didn't previously need to ask (BBBJ, DFK, lots of foreplay, erotic massage play, etc.). But a previous encounter had forced me to be more transparent, especially with higher cost girls I take out. When she agreed, we moved onto pricing and soon agreed to that as well.

Once we went downstairs and went to the cashier, the first red flag occurred. When I went to pay my card, she just handed her card to the cashier and motioned that I was going to take care of it. She never asked me first and I never said I would. She just presumed and took me for granted or for a sucker. Just no respect.

I've paid the card / bill of most of the girls I've taken out, but they always ask me first and inform me it it was just their consumption, which was always minor. There was one exception, when a girl from my last trip, which stuck me with a R600 bill that I didn't realize until the next day, as I was never shown their receipt. She claimed she didn't know it was that high or that her admission on it and offered to reimburse me. I told that girl that there was no need, and that I believe her. But she persisted and insisted that I take her up to the room for a free romp. So I did amd It ended up one being one of the better 1 HR sessions I had. So I now make sure I see the full itemized bill of the girl before I pay it.

Now back to this girl. Her working name is Marina. I have no issues name shaming girls with shitty attitudes and crappy service. I am sure she put me on blast to her friends after! When I saw the R400+ for cover and consumption, I balked at paying it. When I saw her facial expression turn negative and the mood about to sour. It was like a big five alarm going off with large red sirens in my head! I was about to say fuck it and bail, but a combination of events made me change my mind. 1) she quickly hid her emotions and tried to smooth things over by saying I can consider it a tip and if I don't have a good time, I can deduct it from our agreed compensation 2) I had already paid her Saida fee so not sure if I can change my mind (I learn now to pay the bill before Saida fee) 3) I had already settled my bill so not sure if I can open a new one and go back in the club (upon reflection, I am sure I can) 4) I am an optimist at heart and gave her the benefit of the doubt 5) I wanted to see her dance the stripper pole at Lush Hotel.

Off we went to Lush. She was detached on the ride over. Claimed she was tired. Probably true. But not a good start. Lush sold out the room with stripper pole while we were heading over. So the hits keep on coming! Once we get to the room, she tried me to get a buy her a vibrator and dinner without asking. How did she do that you ask? By just taking a new vibrator from the shelf and putting it on the bed. Insinuating she will use it during our session. And of course taking it home after. I took a look and it was R400 for the vibrator. She just opening the menu and says she is hungry. And whether I was too. As if she was paying! This was the last opportunity I had to cut my losses and kick her out without paying her compensation. And I should have listened to my gut and done so and booted her out with just taxi fare and went back to Scandallo for last call.

As for service, Marina tried to skimp on time and service and just tried to get me off ASAP and leave. A wham bam thank you ma'am session was the last thing I wanted. I didn't book 3 hrs for that! I tried to slow her down and give her guidance, but she always quickly reverted back to the pace she was setting and the shitty service she was giving.

I finally had enough of the BS, I told her she obviously didn't want to be here and she can leave. She tried to debate with me that it's not true and she was providing the service we agreed to. I told her she don't need to worry about me not paying her (that would lead to drama I don't want), but she wasn't going to get everything we agreed on. I deducted her bill / tip and Saida fee from our agreed upon compensation for her time and she simply gave me a thumbs up in agreement and left.

So my ONE and ONLY time in Brazil that I kicked a girl out of my bed was a rotten apple from Scandallo! Still a good batting average as that is probably out of 150+ Brazilian women I've had in Sampa and Rio and 70+ of them from Scandallo!

ISG Bros:

I had a great time hanging with a bunch of ISG bros, two of whom I met up with on multiple trips previously in SP. I actually arranged the dates of this trip to hang with them. Our group of 3 eventually grew to as much as 7, when we did an ISG Bros takeover of DOM restaurante! It was amazing hanging with so many like minded guys. I won't name names to keep things discreet, but you guys know who you are. It was a pleasure hanging out with each and every one of you. I hope to hang with you guys again in the future.

High end clinicas:

I am very surprised I've not sampled any high end clinica until now. I wanted to try them out during my first few trips, but had such an amazing time with regular clinicas that I didn't think it would be worth it, especially when I had to use an iPad for presentation and the prices almost reached Scandallo levels. I finally did at the urging and recommendations of a few ISG bros. I went to Lotus Lounge with an ISG bro as wingman and had a good time. I would definitely repeat. Cost:. 350 to house, 330 to girl, total R680.

Do I think it's worth 2 to 2. 5 x the cost of a Moema clinica? Yes, if you like what I like. The room, ambiance, showers, amenities are 3-4 x better than Moema clinicas. Basically comparable to s high end spa / 4 star hotel. The girls are also on average better looking and more of them speak English when compared to a regular clinica girl. All of those traits I prioritize and place value on. They also offer happy hour and loyalty discounts!

Lotus Club:

I had hope to give this boate another chance, as the last time I went, the place was dead. But really nicely furnished. However, before I went there after dinner, a couple of friends were there already and said now the club is now full of mostly ugly and old civilians, with a sprinkling of hotties. There were also some stickers for swingers like (yes / no, available,/ not available, etc.) on some of their clothes. I guess the club pivoted to a civilian, semi swing club after not succeeding as an alternative to Cafe Photo / Scandallo.

Cafe Photo:

Went there with some ISG bros and we left after 30 min and headed to Scandallo. It was a bad omen when I saw two good looking girls leaving when we arrived. They probably went to Scandallo or a working girl party pickup spot like Bagatelle. After the previous 2 nights at Scandallo, it was like going from the Yankees to single A ball. For non baseball fans. It's like going from listening to Adele to listening to your kid's elementary school recital. The admission is now all consumption R350. They did tack on a 15% tip gratuity without saying anything. When I asked why it was higher then 350, they said it was a 15% service charge for the waiters and it was voluntary and they would remove it if we wanted. We said keep it, but still found it shady and forced. I've told myself before, so I hope to keep telling myself, but I am done with this place.

I did found the service to be a tad above Scandallo. But with the client to waiter ratio almost 1:2. It does feel a bit awkward. Like you have too many watchful servants. The way they brought over glasses with lime or berries in ice for our bottle of gin was nicely done.

Casarao:

I finally crossed it off my bucket list. And I will return. Shocked I never went there before this trip as I stay in the area so often (Renaissance, Tivoli, intercontinental, Fasano, Rosewood, etc.). I think the reasons were 1) thought it was more for locals and my lack of Porto would be a huge impediment 2) I presumed it was an inferior Bomboa. 3). The last time I wanted to go, . My friends said. They just went a few days ago and it was meh!

So after finishing a dinner date and catching the end of the Bucs game, I got bored and couldn't sleep. I hit up a wingman to go check it out on a Sunday at midnight. It was one of few clubs open, and as I just finished with a girl, I figure I would just go to look.

It's definitely self service, when Scandallo is full service! No glasses with ice. Nicely wrapped with a napkin here with your coke or red bull. There is a big garbage can for you to throw out your own garbage! A bit of a dive bar vibe, but better layout than Bomboa. It was decent on Sunday. More hopping than Cafe Photo on a Saturday! Was told it can be packed during the weekdays. Saw a girl from Scandallo there that I had thought about taking when she was at Scandallo a couple of nights ago. Quickly negotiated a takeout back to my hotel. Had such a good time, I extended our time twice, and at a fraction of Scandallo prices! My wingman scored a good deal on a pernoite as well and his girl fucked his brains out not once. Not twice, but 3 times before she left him famished when we met up for lunch! She might have tried to kill him and went in for #4 if not for his lunch date with me and a friend!

First of all, SocratesNY great report. It sucks that we missed each other by a few days and maybe next time we can plan a get together.

Arrived at Scandello approx at 915 pm and walked around for a bit. It was slow and there weren't a lot of girls. So I picked a spot at the lobby bar and ordered a beer. I was going to take it slow tonight because I wanted to find a gem that checks off my list. I haven't been to Scandello since February and I wanted to find someone who would be enjoyable to spend time with.
