I think there are a few countries that come out tops when it comes to our hobby, and its not hard to put together a top 5 that anyone could make an argument for. Thailand is Disneyland for men sure, but like every destination it has its place. Arguments could be made for Germany, Philippines or Colombia too I am sure. Most of the top destinations are going to offer something that the other places won't or can't, and then we all have our personal preferences on top.

Thailand should be compared to Brazil as a whole though. Pattaya and Bangkok should be compared to Rio and SP. Clubs should be compared to clubs. Not to get territorial or overly autistic at all, I just think that given a lot of people would be seeking information on where to plan a holiday and many have limited time with long flights, its important to be fair in these comparisons. I also think that a lot has changed post Covid, and a lot of guys are getting back on planes and planning their first trips, but the situation on the ground is quite different now and if people are relaying older information then its not going to be that accurate right now.

Don't get me wrong, I had an amazing time with the Scandallo girls, and I hope to return soon. But beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I like spinners and I abhor fake asses. I went to Scandallo, Castarao, and many of the clinicas, so I have a sense on what is on offer in SP. I agree that quality has dropped some in Thailand post-COVID, but for me the quality of the average Pattaya gogo girl still easily beats the average SP girl, because almost all the Pattaya gogo girls are spinners. But don't get me wrong, I thought Scandallo was great, and much more enjoyable than the FKKs, which is more of a wham-bam-thank-you-mam experience.

There is one important thing that is missing in your analysis: safety. Here there is a major difference. Pattaya (and Bangkok) is so much safer than Sao Paulo. You can walk around anywhere, anytime and not worry about getting mugged. This makes the environment much more relaxing and enjoyable. I would go to SP strictly to visit Scandallo and Balboa, since Castarao and the clinicas do not have enough spinners for me. I don't see what else there is to do in SP besides going to Scandallo and Balboa. SP is strictly a mongering destination for me. In Pattaya, there is more to do, great food, and most importantly it is much more relaxing due to the safety factor.

Safety, spinners, and topless gogos weigh heavily in my ranking.

To each his own. We both like SP and Pattaya. Taking all the factors together, you prefer SP. I prefer Pattaya. But we will both be visiting both in the future.

1. ATM. Bradesco does not charge any foreign transaction fees. Santander charged 23 R for 1000 R withdrawal which was reimbursed by Charles Schwab.

2. Google fi worked perfectly fine.

3. Google translator esp conversation mode was the life savior.

4. Uber was perfect and no issues with any trip.

5. Well received in all Clinicas and in other places of the city. Do problem with Indian ethnicity.

Brooklin Massagens. Visited twice. Andressa is little bulky with Silicone. Very good service and GFE. Yumi perfect body and good service. 330 R.

Prime. Very friendly receptionists. Even the guys hanging out there helped me translate. Took Andressa and great service. 250 R.

Enjoy Spa. Visited twice. 6 8 girls and could not remember their names. Receptionist speaks very good Eng and was helpful by showing photos in phone. Thania. Very good service (best in my lifetime). Livia not a great looker but ok service. No choice as no one else was available. 250 R.

Abbobarra. Tons of girls. May be 15-20. More than 10 were really good. Tough choice to pick. Went with Samantha. Great looker but mediocre service. 350 R.

Tangara. Very old rooms compared to all clinicas. Took Sara. Silicone and mediocre service. 140 R 30 m.

Miruna. Enjoy, miruna and abbobara are walkable. Had only 3 girls and was not impressed.

I think some members like just posting up in one location and having everything in one place. Perhaps they also wanted a beach. Before the Help Disco in Rio was closed, Copacabana offered all that.

We're kind of trying to compare a lot of different variables. The aesthetic of Asian beauty versus the more diverse Brazilian looks with some strong Latin and Black influences. Then you have to ask do you want a beach and outdoor activities.

I can say that things in Thailand post Covid are not good at all. Prices are up, service quality is down and girl quality is abysmal it has never been this bad. There might be a few thousand girls to choose from on Walking Street in Pattaya right now, but:

The quality is bad and you are hunting for diamonds.

The top Gogos have hoovered up all the good looking girls, competition for girls is immense now.

The top gogos have drink minimums on top of large bar fines now. High salaries means girls need to sell drinks.

Bar fines are up. They don't want the girls leaving with customers, they want you there drinking to cover salary overhead.

Average total cost is going to be 1500-2000 BRL when you are done and dusted at the better gogos now. This is Pattaya, not Bangkok! These are not just Walking Street prices, this is LK Metro too.

The freelancer clubs are picking up, but rates are up too given rising gogo rates which are resetting the market. Expect to pay between 500 and 750 BRL for a club **** at around 2 am if she is a looker.

Knock shops and beer bars are Clinica prices for a session, and we are swimming in the gutters at this point you might as well be going to VM.

Freelancers off dating apps are the same stock as beer bars and knock shops mostly, similar pricing.

The exclusive BKK gents clubs are not 20 k-30 k baht by the time you are finished. Thats 3500 BRL. Thats what you should be comparting to the clubs in SP. The women in those clubs are the best Thailand has to offer at a price.

I have spent a ton of time in Pattaya. Comparing the whole of Pattaya to Scandallo does a huge disservice to Sao Paulo, the scene there is massive. Its one club in a city full of world class options. Scandallo is like Insomnia, the largest freelancer club.

The quality of the women in Brazil smokes Thailand, its not close. Then when you consider performance, its an even bigger gap. There are some beautiful Thai women, but on average its a different league in Brazil.

Price wise, Scandallo is on the top end and not cheap but the quality is insane. Not just the women, everything about that club is world class. Nothing in Pattaya would match it, and while the high end gentlemen's clubs in Bangkok would push places like Bomboa there is nothing like Scandallo there either. Price wise in BKK these clubs will set you back the same though, easily. Same goes for Thailand as a whole, the cost of sex is not much lower than Brazil anymore and I would say its actually on par.

Its great for golf, the hotel options are amazing, a lot of good restaurants, and the best thing about is that everything is concentrated in a few walkable areas, so I can understand the appeal of that compared to Sao Paulo and even Rio. But unless you want to spend all day drinking, it gets old quickly. 4-5 days is plenty in that place, and to be honest its a bit of a dump.

Thanks gents, yes agreed (readers should plan carefully) - to clarify my pie-in-the-sky plans. Would be to visit some "friends" in Bogota (I'm here for the coffee ha) on the way down. On the way back, there's a day time connecting flight via Bog (3 HR layover) which doesn't require YF that I took this trip.

From Avianca (exceptions): "Passengers with a connecting flight or cruise who are not leaving the terminal. The stay in the country must be less than 24 hours. ".

I was surmising that YF worry seems overkill, but I do eventually want to visit some other remote beaches, etc. When I saw the Brazil 2018/2019 YF campaign: 88% male cases, 23% fatality, median age in the 40's, mainly rural workers. Ouch, no joke..

I did it last time last year but it's after I just landed. The girl showed up before I had a chance to get enough cash. I had everything with me at that moment so I didn't want the girl around. Do you need to fill out Checkmig form when you just transit trough Colombia?

If you will go thru immigration in Colombia, then you will need it. If you are flying Avianca, they may do it for you. I flied Avianca, for some reason, I wasn't asked for checkmig or YF certificate.

SocratesNY, Thank you once again for an excellent summary of Scandallo. My tastes in women are almost identical to yours, although tall is less of a factor. It was because of your earlier reports, I flew from Canada to Sao Paulo to check out Scandallo for myself. It was not cheap, but it was certainly worth it. I took five girls to my hotel room. One of the girls I had an amazing connection and sex with, and spent two full days with her. Thank you again for all you have been saying about Scandallo.

That having been said, if I could only choose to go to either Pattaya or Sao Paulo, I would choose Pattaya. It is easier to connect with a Scandallo girl since the language and culture is closer to what we are used to. And as you say, the club is class, and quantity and variety of girls is superb. But Walking Street Pattaya has many more girls. In the new club XS, there are 100 girls alone. There are probably over 500 girls dancing in the Walking Street gogos on any given night when taken together..

Be careful about connecting via Colombia or Panama. You have to get a yellow fever vaccine at least 72 hours before you enter either country directly from Brazil. 60 or older are exempt.

I was at Gaugin Club yesterday. It was about 15 minute walk to the hotel so I figured to check it out. I walked in around 10 Pm and it was dead, looks like they are renovating as with the floor and surrounding a bit dirty. There were total about 7 girls with 4 already talking to customer and they weren't that great looking. I had this 32 yo white blonde from Minas Gerais came over and talked to me and since it was slow, I figured to talk to her and get more info. R180 for entry with R100 consumable, R100 for the room and the only option for girl is 1 hour. She quoted me R800 for her, but these are freelance so you can negotiate, she just doesn't do it for me with any amount so I aske for her number and said we'll meet outside. There is a menu for drinks, r35 for beer, r50 red label walker. I drank my consumable and then paid the r180 and left for Casarao. I stayed until about 12 am and about 4 more girls strolled in by then, nothing great. The girl I talked to said it's best to come Tuesday through Thursday, I guess Friday is bad and it is also National holiday.

Sad to hear it was a dud. Was contemplating checking it out on my next visit.

That's right man. That's how you do it. Especially when you run out of reais. I did it in both SP and Rio and even in Thailand. About 10 years ago in Rio, it was my last full day. I went out walking around, stopped at a lunch place near the beach for a beer. Saw a good looking lady and called out to her. We talked and since I didn't have a hotel room, we went to that short time hotel that was back near Miguel Lemos and NS Copa. Got to the room and she wanted money up front. Of course I told her I pay after. I showed her the hundred dollar bill and said she can have it after we finish. She was a little skeptical but I showed her the exchange rate. Win Win. The EX rate was about 2. 2 to 1 back then. Man, let me tell you. She gave the best performance. Great sex with mirrors everywhere. After the first session, we talk and laugh and touch, then on to round two when I was ready. She did it again. That was one of THE BEST sessions ever.

Some are smaller and very hands on (Windmill, Dollhouse), and some are bigger and more restrained. But for me the main thing Pattaya has over Sao Paulo is that it is so safe. You can walk around anywhere in Pattaya at any time of night and not have to worry about anything. Pattaya also has great international food as well as delicious Thai food. There are also more things to do in Pattaya besides mongering, and it is easy to get around. It is a much more relaxing destination on the whole.

Going forward, I'll be visiting both Pattaya and Scandallo.

From my last 3-4 trips, I've been at Scandallo every day they were open. From my observations, I would guess the normal number of girls in attendance would be approximately.

Note: (NA = wasn't there during that time):

Monday: before 6 pm 20-40,6 to 10 pm 50-80, after 10 pm NA.

Tuesday: before 6 pm NA, 6 to 10 pm 75-125, after 10 pm 150+.

Wednesday: before 6 pm 40-60,6 to 10 pm 85-150, after 10 pm 175+ (250+ on special live musical guest nights).

Thursday: before 6 pm 40-60,6 to 10 pm 85-150, after 10 pm 175+.

Friday: before 6 pm 30-50,6 to 10 pm 75-125, after 10 pm 150+.

Saturday: before 6 pm NA, 6 to 10 pm 60-100, after 10 pm 125+..
