So just wanted to clarify, since I reserved my room at the Renaissance for just me, will I be charged the R150 every time I bring a new guest or will there be some leeway during a specific time of day?

Just book your room for two guests and the problem is solved. You can bring different girls and most of the time they don't check during the day. They might check later in the night when you come back to the room with a girl. She can register with the hotel and if you have two guests, then they won't charge you anything.

I've been to quite a few countries. I haven't experienced one yet where ATMs don't offer best or at least competitive exchange rates. Add the convenience factor athis is tnd avoiding the risk of traveling with large amounts of cash and I am baffled why the debate about this continues.

I am sure u know this Knowledge but others apparently don’t and that’s The reason this keeps coming up — the banks try to trick you. But it's standardized and easy to avoid. When you are doing a withdrawal it will ask you a question. Different banks phrase it differently. Some times it says "withdraw without conversion" or it may say "withdraw in Reals or with draw in USD" (with a footnote that all money will be in Reals. It is confusing. One option the local bank does the conversion. BAD. Bad rate and high fees. And the other your home bank does it at spot rate. GOOD.

Always choose "without conversion" or "withdraw in local currency". Do not choose "with conversion" or "withdraw in USD". These are bad. The non conversion is the option you want. P.S. I found Bradesco to be the most reliable. Both in SP and Rio.

ABG's experiences and assistance were of great value. However, clinica discussions dominated the SP thread during the height of ABG's tour guide business.

So I agree. I think the SP forum has flourished with broader experiences. There's still plenty of posts on the clinicas. I'm surprised no local has picked up where ABG left off.

27-30 will be OK. I was in SP same time period last year (2022). The boates, especially Scandello, weren't very crowded but there was more than enough talent for a good time. The boates will be closed NYE but it's a Sunday this year and they would have been closed anyway.

I'm sure Escandallo has pretty girls, but I don't think its a good idea to spend that much money on one girl. I will go to SP in 2 weeks but I will probably overlook the boates and go to the clinicas.

First I prefer daytime action and SP can be dangerous at night; second paying a lot of money for a girl is not a guarantee that she will comply with your wishes; third, in Tijuana or Colombia I can have 4 stunners for the price of one at Escandallo. If you have a bad experience with one of them you may still be happy with the 3 others.

I did a detailed post on Colombian ATMs back in 2020. Basically I found that using my debit at ATMs was the best way to access cash in Colombia. Most ATMs have ridiculous fees on top of crappy exchange rates, but if you go the right ATMs you can get a decent rate.

I just arrived in SP so I don't know the best method to get cash or do an online payment.

PayPal doesn't give a great rate and apparently they take another 10% from the recipient? If true that's obscene.

I'm pretty sure only Brazilians can use Pix, can somebody confirm?

What do you guys recommend for ATMs or payment apps?

Also take into consideration of hotels. Some girls will only go to a guys place if it's a hotel. I had some scandallo girls tell me this and online girls. Since this is my 6th rodeo I had some girls who I had a repeat with come to my airbnb but that's because they knew I was 300 like the romans (300 = CCC = cool, calm, collective).

I stayed in the Grand Hyatt at their presidential suite which is their best suite and it was a delight. I was there during lollapalooza festival so it was extra interesting as some of the artists were staying on the same floor and security was extra tight as there was a ton of fan girls waiting to see their favorite artists walk by. I'm sure some were for me as well but I didn't pay them no mind.

Things to take note of is that the maximum registered guests you can have for your stay is 3 people. Anything over that you have to pay R150. The rooms is big enough to have 6-8 people over so really it's up to you if you want to pay that extra cost for an 4 some or more. Before 7 pm they don't really care about you bringing a girl or 2 or 4 over because they know you have friends that will want to come over but after 7 pm they have a security guard at the front who will guide you to the front desk to sign in your guests because they assume anyone coming in after 7 pm might stay the night and they don't want a fiesta happening in your place without getting a piece of that sweet action. Once a girl leaves make sure to sign them out so you have two guests available to come still. The front desk might try to squeeze you like a Heinz EZ Squirt Purple ketchup bottle and say you already used up your 2 guest spots and now you have to pay R150 for any new visitors. That's not how it works. It's any two guests at any given time. As long as you signed out any previous guests you don't have to pay unless you go over the room limit. It's usually a different front desk person so they might be confused so just politely tell them you are within the limit and clear up the confusion.

With the presidential suite you also get free breakfast, usually that means downstairs on the first floor but you can also get it sent to your room complimentary. You have to use the hotel's website to order your breakfast combo and add it to your room charge and schedule it but once you check out it will be noted as complimentary and you don't pay. A buddy of mine who has been there many many time never knew this and always missed breakfast. With the jacuzzi and it's view of the city it's really the best spot in SP. Your girl will go wild.

Quick question, how quiet is SP between roughly the 27th and 2nd of Jan? I am assuming slim pickings with a lot of people headed home or away on holiday? Would love to be wrong about that as its convenient timing for me.?

I tried a combo of lists and also went to scandallo.

The main thing that I noticed is that in So Paulo the girls always try to rush and call it good after one shot. Even the high end list girls too they don't put any effort.

I think some of the lists are also the same agents that are running PA too.

I had a situation twice where the girl (agent) offers a service through the phone. I get there and they say, "oh I don't do that" or "not for this price".

I said yeah if not I'm out.

I get out to leave and the agent talks to me directly with the girls supposed number.

Gave me all kinds of threats and said I had to pay the girl for wasting her time. That they know where I am staying and the like.

Just keep in mind that all these girls are working for an agent and when you message them they are working as a intermediary. Only once you meet them can you see them cutting out the middle man.

But even then after sampling like out here I am not too impressed.

For the price of comming out here and the inflated prices these girls are charging I would go elsewhere.

I'm due up for my trip report but I will say briefly the best experience I've had mongering (including MX, Colombia, Philippines, Brazil) has been bar fining the Scandalo girls back to my hotel. They never leave after the first pop stick around a few hours and I've gone 2 more rounds. Also very open to negotiating I usually counter with 300 reais below asking. Some absolute smoke show Brancas were amazing in bed

The day clinicas are also amazing bang for buck if you find a gem in the lineup. Wow talk about money's worth.

I don't understand this post. You claimed you went to scandallo but most of your posts talks about agents and outcalls?

I'm planning a trip to sao paulo in June, and the posts here said there's 200+ WG in scandallo, but you're claiming you couldn't find one good one?

As far as the "rush and call it a good one after a shot," well yeah, that's why you have to negotiate multiple shots with WGs. Some folks are far too reliant on escort agency outcalls with fake pictures and pushy managers, when all they had to do was walk down the street to a brothel and pick who they want.

My 2 cents, from what I've read about Colombia, it seems comparisons between Brazil and Colombia overlook two major downsides of Colombia:

1) Hotels in Colombia are by default NOT girl-friendly.

2) Accessing your cash in Colombia is difficult. ATMs in Colombia give out only small amounts and sometimes steal your money (in Brazil you get 2500 Real free of charge at Bradesco). I'm not even talking about living in Colombia and banking there, apparently Colombian banks are among the most rapacious in South America, collecting fees even for withdrawing money with a local card from your own Colombian bank account!

I did a detailed post on Colombian ATMs back in 2020. Basically I found that using my debit at ATMs was the best way to access cash in Colombia. Most ATMs have ridiculous fees on top of crappy exchange rates, but if you go the right ATMs you can get a decent rate.

Been to Rio three times for New Years now, not in the mood for that craziness. Any other decent destinations worth considering if SP is ghost town?

Lots of guys are going to Sao Paulo now and I think this thread is 1,000 times better than it used to be because, not only is it far more active, but we now have a much broader spectrum of experiences and opinions about where to go and what to do in Sampa. Yes there are the clinicas, but there's so, so much more than that people have discovered and enjoyed and shared intel with everybody here. And now for me, just like you, Sao Paulo is an essential part of any trip to Brazil.

I agree, especially the quality, depth, and detail of posts have significantly improved. There have even been a number of reports on new venues or seldom mentioned venues which means monger are venturing out and exploring a little more out of their comfort zone.

I also hope that reports start to come in on other areas of Brazil as well.

For those who have visited multiple times or spend months / weeks during their stay, is there a slower time of year when there isn't as much action? I can imagine that the holidays are a little slower because of people wanting to spend time and money with family.

Casarão Sunday is a good bet, probably not the whole place will be open but it will have women and less men so good for you. Bahamas is the "only" boate open Sundays, I don't recommend.

I'm not a fan of website girls in SP, its expensive for the time you get and they tend to behave more like entitled princess. My feeling.

Try Scandallo, Cafe Photo and Bomboa for Boates.

Currently my plan is to arrive early on Sunday the 23rd. Staying in the Hilton Morumbi (I know this is sub optimal location but it's one of the few hotels approved by my company). My hope is to hit a clinicas around mid morning. Is that even possible on a Sunday's? I have narrowed it down to palms, pro, lotus, and Prime. That evening I'the like to go to casarao because it's open Sunday. Will it be dead on Sunday? The rest of the week I hope to pull in an escort from a site for overnight and try scandello. Please let me know if I am missing anything!

Mate, sorry for your experience but SP I would say is not the place to be calling websites or agents or any of the sort. You go to the boates you speak with the women you like, you see if theres a feeling and you take them there or you take them to hotel / flat. Thats the best experience ever, and for that SP is unparalleled. I haven't been to Colombia yet, but been all over US, Europe, Asia and don't think there's a better city / ease of being a punter than SP. With soooo many different types of women, because that's the thing about Brazil and SP. You want skinny? They have? Blonde? Yes sir! Big? There's also that, all types of working professional women exist in that city. That I'm completely sure no other city on earth has.
