The first time I went to Sampa, I stayed at the Mercure Sao Paulo Ibirapuera Privilege (do not recommend). That was a bad choice for me for a number of reasons, including that overhead airplane noise could get quite loud. But on subsequent trips, I stayed at the Mercure Sao Paulo Moema Times Square (recommend) and it was totally fine with no airplane noise issues whatsoever (I do sleep heavy). Don't know why the difference, but must have something to do with the flight pattern. Some here have recommended the Bourbon Convention Hotel in Moema, and that one would indeed be quite convenient, but I've stayed away from it because you can look up and literally see the planes overhead. But bottom line I don't agree that staying in Moema isn't smart. Not only is it very convenient for hitting the clinicas but also for restaurants, bank ATMs, grocery stores, and shopping. I was even able to find a good barbershop. And a big plus for it is that it's safe too! I've been out walking around Moema at all times of day and night no problems and never felt any threats once. I think it's a matter of finding the right spot. The Mercure Sao Paulo Moema Times Square works for me.

What you're suggesting is on the other side of the airplane noise area I uploaded with this response. Brooklin novo is just on the other side. Also safe and the airbnbs (if that's you're method, reader) are amazing! 24 HR pool, gym, sauna, bicycle to use and laundry. The one thing I do find annoying is how long a hotel takes to clean your clothes and how much it charges tho to be fair I know it's a bunch of logistics. After the 2nd girl over I like to wash the sheets and towels. For brooklin you would want to get an uber to hit the clinicas unless you don't mind starting at enjoy clinica and crossing the little highway to abobbora and the rest. I like brooklin novo as the airbnbs are much nicer and you get a nice view of the city with a balcony usually. The area also has nice cheap lunch spots that are great. i'm also a big fan of mirrors and there are a ton of airbnbs in brooklin novo area with a huge mirror in front of the bed or on the side for the closet. it's like a mini love motel room. that's something i do consider a must for me personally. the grand hyatt had some mirrors in the bathroom but i couldn't move them to the bed. so my only gripes with hotels but that's really a personal problem.

So dear reader it depends if you want a hotel go with the cane's advice as he has good info and intel or if you are better suited for airbnbs brooklin novo has a great amount that can't be beat.

There is no ideal location to stay at. You will be far from either the boates or the clinicas or something else. There is no "right spot" to stay at. I stayed in moema for the first 10 days then went to the Grand Hyatt in brooklin area. I think a good compromise is Brooklin novo. It's only 10 min ride away to the clinicas and 30 mins from bomboa, scandallo and casarao more or less. It's also a decent area which you have to remember is important because some girls will flat out refuse to come over if you're in a bad neighborhood like Repblica. They'll tell you to come to them or get a love motel and you don't want that if you can help it.

AIRBNB and HOTEL

I used Airbnb and my host had it written down that I had to check in every guest that I had coming in. It really made it annoying some days. Eventually I just went pass the front desk but this can be a problem if the building sees this as a problem and can kick you out. If a host says you can't have visitor or you have a limit I'd take that into consideration and look for something else. I'd ask them what the method is to get in the building as some places you get a keyfob or they use face scanner to let you in and you just bypass security or times you need to talk to the front desk every time and that's when you have a problem usually.

Also take into consideration of hotels. Some girls will only go to a guys place if it's a hotel. I had some scandallo girls tell me this and online girls. Since this is my 6th rodeo I had some girls who I had a repeat with come to my airbnb but that's because they knew I was 300 like the romans (300 = CCC = cool, calm, collective).

I stayed in the Grand Hyatt at their presidential suite which is their best suite and it was a delight. I was there during lollapalooza festival so it was extra interesting as some of the artists were staying on the same floor and security was extra tight as there was a ton of fan girls waiting to see their favorite artists walk by. I'm sure some were for me as well but I didn't pay them no mind.

Things to take note of is that the maximum registered guests you can have for your stay is 3 people. Anything over that you have to pay R150. The rooms is big enough to have 6-8 people over so really it's up to you if you want to pay that extra cost for an 4 some or more. Before 7 pm they don't really care about you bringing a girl or 2 or 4 over because they know you have friends that will want to come over but after 7 pm they have a security guard at the front who will guide you to the front desk to sign in your guests because they assume anyone coming in after 7 pm might stay the night and they don't want a fiesta happening in your place without getting a piece of that sweet action. Once a girl leaves make sure to sign them out so you have two guests available to come still. The front desk might try to squeeze you like a Heinz EZ Squirt Purple ketchup bottle and say you already used up your 2 guest spots and now you have to pay R150 for any new visitors. That's not how it works. It's any two guests at any given time. As long as you signed out any previous guests you don't have to pay unless you go over the room limit. It's usually a different front desk person so they might be confused so just politely tell them you are within the limit and clear up the confusion.

With the presidential suite you also get free breakfast, usually that means downstairs on the first floor but you can also get it sent to your room complimentary. You have to use the hotel's website to order your breakfast combo and add it to your room charge and schedule it but once you check out it will be noted as complimentary and you don't pay. A buddy of mine who has been there many many time never knew this and always missed breakfast. With the jacuzzi and it's view of the city it's really the best spot in SP. Your girl will go wild.

CASH IS KING

I recommend getting a charles schwab debit card so you don't have to pay any ATM fees. The grand hyatt notoriously has a high ATM fee, something like 30% of whatever you're taking out. Its crazy. Sometimes you will get a POS ATM situation like this so the CS debit card will save you some brain cells and dollars. I like using the bradesco atms as they work with international debit cards and they have a 2500 BRL withdrawal and some let you pick what type of bills you get. There are some 24 HR ATM machines located in supermarkets and express stores but they only let you take out 1000 BRL.

Always keep cash with you as it can save you alot of money and stress down the road. I mainly use my credit card to get those points but when you pay the girl it's always best to pay by cash as some places will charge you 10%-30% to pay them with card. Some girls have machines but they will also charge you or their machines won't work and now you have to find a ATM at 3 am and that's never fun.

HEALTH

You should get on PREP before you head out. Takes about 2 weeks to be effective and you will have some peace of mind. Most Health insurance covers it. You can buy good skyn condoms at the pharmacies and you can get sildenafil or Tadalafil (generic Cialis) there as well. Its pretty cheap. Get some mouth wash as well. Scandallo has tons in their mens bathroom but the girls don't so I've had some funny encounters where the girls will ask me to sneak them some out of the mens bathroom because they can't go in. I know some guys like to make out with their girls hardcore but make sure to wash that mouth right away because some girls aren't as hygienic as others. They will clean their pussy and ass but only a few times I've seen a girl brush her teeth or get mouthwash.

If you start to feel sick go to the pharmacy and get some meds for sore throat / coughing right away. Once you get sick you won't have the strength to do anything let alone girls. I had a friend ignore my advice and he was out of action for a good 5 days which could have easily been dealt with. If you feel bad enough go to a clinic and get some stronger meds just in case. Once you're out of commission you might as well be on your outgoing flight because you're gone.

CELLPHONE

I'm a tmobile customer and tmobile gives its MAX Magenta user 5 gb free international data so as soon as I landed I was up and running. You can also get Google Fi and it does the same thing for $20 or so. You can also use the airport's WIFI and get an uber straight to the nearest mall where you will be staying at and get a sim card from TIM but I helped a friend do that and went with him and it took about two hours before it became active so it's kind of a hassle if you don't need to do this.

BUDDY SYSTEM

for sao paulo i would recommend you come with a buddy or meet other members there. Sao Paulo is great but doing the boates alone really is a wretched experience especially when you have done it with a group of buddies before. you can really relax and take your time to soak it all in and get some more insights from your buddy as you only have two eyeballs and two heads with one doing most of the decision making. In my experience, every guy has their own tastes and there usually is very little crossover. I, myself, am very fond of pale redhead with blue/green eyes and my buddies were into the exact opposites. they knew my type and could easily point a girl out that i would like faster than i did at times. you can't visit all the places and be there at the same time so they can get you some important info about the kind of talent one place has and so on. sao paulo really in essence is going from one building to another to another with lots of uber rides in between so it's better with company during those times. i would highly recommend you stay in the same building if you're doing Airbnb or the same hotel. it really saves time and when you're in need of help they are only a few floors away and not blocks. I ran out of condoms once and money with two girl over and my friend was able to come up to my floor and drop off a box and some cash.

No ethnicity issues in Latin America. We Indians blend right in because of our complexion.

Yes, clinicas don't announce their names on boards but they are super easy to find. Especially Tangara which is my favorite place to go. Don't know if they are open on Sundays or not.

Uber is my preferred way of transportation but I have experienced Uber drivers selecting the ride and then cancelling it due to traffic / weather. Expect delays getting picked up.

Beside mongering, if you don't mind eating beef, do have a Mortadella sandwich in Mercado Municipal. Usually my first stop in Sao Paulo.

Few words about the wisdom of taxi drivers.

Important to mention that old labor unions of Taxi are still active, they rule the Ponto Taxis (taxi stations with white taxis in SP). Getting one place as a driver, required an important investment, some drivers told me they paid an entrance fee of 10 K-15 K US dollars, in reales of course. Drivers get commissions from bars to bring clients (Uber and ponto taxis do the same). That was the way I got to Zeus bar, but that's another story. Remember current government loves labor unions.

In cities of the interior only (the bast majority of such big country) there are official Moto-Taxis as transport. These guys in particular were very close to working girls as you may imagine. My Indian friends didn't notice much ethnic bias during their travels. In fact, most thrived in SP and had experiences that most would kill for. With that said, YMMV. It depends on how your present and carry yourself. Also depends which part of town, which club and which clinica or girl. Too general of a question to answer.

I am also Indian and have been going to Brazil regularly for the last 20 years for work. My answers to your questions are:

1) I don't use google fi. I just buy an esim for my phone for the few days I am there.

2) Uber black. Usually the same price. Nothing to worry about.

3) No experience here.

4) None whatsoever. I have walked thru the streets and never had any issues. Don't make yourself a target. Be aware of your surroundings and stay out of the shitty areas.

5) Yes. Try to learn some basic phrases but you will be fine.

6) Depends on where you are staying. I don't use a burner. I keep my iPhone in my pocket and only take it out to check the maps app if I am following it. At restaurants, if you sit by the window or outside, don't leave your phone on the table. Be aware of your surroundings.

7) No experience here.

57 Friends is more like bar / clinica than a boate (nightclub), you can even go in and ask for a line up like a clinica.

Clinicas: Lotus, Oro, Palms, Prime, Miruna, Tangara, Abbobara, Enjoy, Brooklin, Taj mahal.

Lotus, Oro, Palms are high end clinica and only uses tablet. Prime and the rest does presentation in person and you can just go in those places and say "apresentação" for presentation.

They are easy to find. Most girls come in around 12-1 probably leave around 6-7.

It is safe and I felt safe in Moema and Paulista. I was walking around 9-10 PM at night looking for food. Most people drive in SP, and people that normally on motorbike are delivery guys. If you are in downtown, it might be a different scene at night. There is a diverse ethnicity in SP so no problem for you.

The first time I was in Brazil, I used a burner phone in Rio, but after a couple days I just use my normal phone because I felt it was safer than Colombia and SP was even safer than Rio so I never use the burner phone again in Brazil. But to each his own.

My suggestions is ask the clinicas using WhatsApps for daily updates. They post who is working that day and the hours. You can book appt thru whatsapp as well.

Since it is so quiet here. I will add some comments.

It depends. Medellin has much larger daytime scene. The main difference to me and why SP is far superior is the service level and cleanness of the rooms when we are comparing places similar to clinicas. In most places in Medellin, you won't get DFK or kissing, BBBJ at all without an upcharge. DFK or kissing is difficult to get or not very good. The rooms are often nasty by clinica standard. I think not changing sheets between session is normal. You may not have hot water. Some higher price ones may change sheet but I could never tell. There is only one that I have been to that I saw the girl change sheet like the clinica and I have been to many but this one has a shared bathroom so still not perfect. More money may not buy you more service without upcharge. The one that charge more than clinica has the most limited service but they do have best looking girls on average. There are exceptions to the generalization of service above but the rooms are usually bad that some mongers simply won't enjoy that environment.

If you like Rio Centro, then Medellin will be paradise to you if you have enough time. The key is you need time to gain experience to get what you want while everything in Brazil is somewhat automatic.

Based on the above, I would say for short stay Brazil is better because it's far less effort for newbies. But other experienced members that I also respect have said if differently. One has to decide what is more important and I hope this will help you make an informed decision.

Medellin's only advantage is that its cheaper.

Haha. I've finally reached that same point. After 50+ trips to Scandallo, one of my recent trips there ended with me leaving with a big consumption bills (which is the norm) and empty balls (a first at Scandallo! Thank God I've recently branched out of my comfort zone and experienced Casarao, which allowed my evening and morning to end on a high note.

That was the one club that was mentioned a few times by different groups of guys at Scandallo that I drank with. They usually go to Scandallo to hang, drink and maybe get digits. Then usually head to Liberal Club or another local club to finish the night. I always found it amusing that they used Scandallo as a pre-game for a more local club. When I would think it would be the reverse!

I've heard it all from working girls at Scandallo, either overheard or from girls I know or their friends. Some won't go with locals, some don't like darker skinned guys, others don't like young handsome guys, others don't like Asians, etc. Also heard the opposite as some prefer those kind of guys. All the girls have little cliques as well. Skinny girls hang with their own, curvy girls hang together, etc. And girls gossip like there is no tomorrow. Many look down at some girls that work at Casarao and other local clubs, and there is a cross-pollination of girls among various clubs.

I just don't pay them no mind. It's human nature. Everyone has their preference in terms of looks, etc. Some girls are more tactful and educated or well-mannered enough to keep those thoughts to themselves, but once they get comfortable with you, they let all those thoughts all hang loose! As I aint trying to marry them, I just shrug it off.

Your sentiments regarding SP pretty much echoes my own. For my situation and hobbying style, SP is #1 for me though.

I get the same vibe about RJ as you, although like you, I've only had limited time there.

No comments on Medellin as I've never been there but I hear lots of great things from friends that have.

However, the time sink factor, to get similar service that I get with ease from Brasileras (whether pros or non-Pros), is one of the many reasons that I keep postponing my Colombian trips. I've found good GFE / PSE to be pretty much default among Brazilian women.
