But one think you have to take in consideration whem making your daily schedule is the prime time for traffic..
8AM to 10:00 is crazy but nobody wakes up that early on vacations.
At lunch time is bad but not to bad to be a metropolis 5PM to 8:00Pm you better have some rest and getting ready for the night If yoy want to see somebody at your place at that time better call her at least 2 hours before so she can make it on time..
During the day are good prives and clinicas in Brooklyn, Moema, Bella Visa Pinheiros, Consolasao etc ,, So you don't need to go too far.
GPs are most of the time base on Jardins and Moema,, very easy to get there during day time..
At night is Ok to drive but try to go with at least one more friend and DO NOT go to the favelas or near by for any reason..
the "casas" are in safe places .. you can go to Connection, Bamboa, Cafe Photo, and even Bacos that is located in Sao Bernardo out side of SP but you take the highway and is OK, no need to go trough the colonias, Sao Bernardo is a safe city comparing to SP.
You can drive by the Augusta before 2 AM no problem.. if you miss the route the program will make a new one for you right away to take you to your destination.. good luck..
One more thing: DO NOT stop at the red lights when is dark and looks empty the streets, especially if you are in an unknown area of the city..
You forgot "rodizio" that is a traffic ban in certain hours of the day (if I am not wrong 7-10 and 18-20?) depending on the last digiti of the plate of the car. There are lots of traffic police officers checking out at traffic lights.
They wil not stop you bu the fine is sent to the car owner.
I do not know the details as wehen I am there I ignore the ban since the car owner (a very large corporate) will sort it out.
I am even wondering how it works if one rents a car..I mean, I rent a car and can't drive it?? Anyone knows about exceptions?

You are right, eventhough if one thinks SP is a city of approx (counted 19 mill people) and if "only" 10% is on the road, that makes 1.9 mil people on the road.
I have done other funny calculations...more related to mongering
How many people in SP are shagging in a specific but random moment of the day? lol

    I am with you Dealdo.

Even if using the Metro is the best way to save money and time I am definitely a "driver".

If I have the chance I prefer to use a car!

Still Metro may be a very useful "helping hand" durin the peak hours.

PS: I will be in Sao Paulo for 3 days soon (from January 28th to january 30th). Are you around there?

    Regards,

Besides I like to go out very much at night and all those services are not operating .. But you are completely right.. for saving money during the day nothing is cheaper and faster than subway.. I just hate cabs as much as you do...

I had a bad experience on my first trip with a driver in the taxi stand in front of the hotel Mercure on Capote Valente (near Bomboa). I soon realized that he switched his meter from tarification 1 to tarification 2. In other words he tried to make easy money on my back.

Last November, I had problem of going from Moema at rush hours. I took me 1 1/2 to go from Lavandisaca and Macuco to Santa Cruz metro station. Habitually, it's a 20 minutes bus ride!

    Ellen Coelhinha

I think I know Ellen for 4 years now..
I remember she was one of the most perfect bodies I've ever touched.. Is so perfect that I have seen her stolen pics all over the world...
Face is just cute with nothing exceptional, But those boobies and that bunda was an addiction to me,, her pussy is small and tide,, completely waxed pinky and fine.. smells good and if you can turn her on she is very hot,, unfortunately she is not an easy going girl on bed..
Bad point also; she did not wanted to kiss,, eventualy had to do it my way but I'm almost sure French dish is not in the menu
Last time I saw her was not as firm as she used to be..But still good, a 7 1/2 I would say (her body used to be a perfect 10 skin and everything)
back door is not an option either.. So only if you really lust her bad I would recommend her..

I am not sure hiring a car is cheaper than going by taxi, obviously that depends on how long you have to go during each day, but in my opinion is more tiring and stressful, due to traffic congestion, lack of knowledge of city and of alternative routes when blocked in a traffic jam.
Also, when travelling at night, probably safer would be to sit in a taxi with a driver who knows where to go and at which red light he can stop and at which he can't (don't forget that not stopping at red light may bring other extremely dangerous consequences).

Otherwise, I agree with you that taxi are expensive here compared to other Latin America countries. This is richest and here is the reason.
Fortunately, Real recent drop makes costs, not only for taxis, more reasonable.
You may be right Albert.. Most of the time I make life probably too spicy..
Well I should say that I only recommend it to adventurer guys..
I did save time and money big time but I manage to oriented my self well and I'm a very fast learner, For me was nice to take off anytime I wanted, pick girls up at the clubs and take them home or cruising around checking more clubs or a late restaurant before the bed action, At day time I could go to shopping malls sometimes talk to some locals take them to eat drop them home, pick them up at night, You know everything we do and can't do at home
Besides Brasilian girls love to ride on your own car more than go on taxis...
I wish it could be that easy to rent a car in the Eastern European countries..

The Palms Massage Company - 5 stars

had a outstanding experience at the palms massage company (clinica) that i thought would be useful to new mongers, old hats and those that have inquired about making a stop from the international airport.

clínica the palms ~ vila olímpia
    rua gomes de carvalho 416 - v.olimpia
    tel. 11 3044 0366
http://www.thepalms.com.br/ (site in english and port)

i flew in to sao paulo from belo at 2pm and had a planned lay over until my flight left for the states at 10:30pm. i built in the extra time to gauge this for the future.

i showed the taxi driver the address and they have published flat rates to the different barrios. he showed me the list. he said it was about 40 km. from guarulhos airport to vila olimpia the rate was $103 reals. the ride took 35minutes and i arrived at 2:35.

this is a first class place. when you enter they will ask if you have a reservation. i did not, and they sat me down in the main area and gave me a book with photos of the 20-25 girls working. they then provided me with a sheet containing a list of the girls that was in the same order as the book. the names of the girls that were available were marked. they were all 8-10's. they were all very hot!

the manager spoke english and we talked and he filled me in on the details. really funny guy. $190 for an hour which includes the room and a massage with a handjob. if you want to have sex with the girl, let her know, and it is $200 additional regardless of the girl. same price for all.

i made my selection, after a few minutes they call your name and a girl from the front desk takes you to the room. excellent rooms, clean and first class, all with a shower. i took a shower and within 5 minutes the girl i selected entered the room.

she gives you a massage, and about the time she flips you over she will ask, voce quero comigo? that's your que to say sim, and she says muito bom, and the games begin.

i enjoyed it so much and it was only 4pm when i finished, i sat on the couch in the main area, smoked a few cigarettes, looked at the book, watched the girls walking through the place and talked to the manager. were also several clients arriving that spoke english and we chatted for a bit. the manager showed me the book for their second location. it only had like 10 girls, but all were just as hot. he said the second location was just a "pitstop", but the quality was the same. i asked which was closer to the international airport, and he said the second location. something to think about in the future and check on their website which has a link to both places (you can also view the rooms on the site).

since i had plenty of time, at 5pm i went with a second chick that i had seen walking through and asked the manager her name. chantel, and wow had a great time with her. beautiful chick. i left by 6pm and they had a taxi waiting for me outside. $100 reals for the return trip to the airport. but traffic was definitely worse, taking me 1 hour 15 minutes to return. but got back in plently of time to sufffer the international departure ordeal.

i would give this 5 stars, great experience. i highly recommend it. first class place and really pleasant, especially with the manager and some of the clients speaking english (i speak pretty good portugese, but definitely a plus). good peeps. i have seen posts about "high class" ecorts etc. i would see no reason to pay more when these babes are hot as it gets. i also liked the fact this place is open during the day, no need to hit a boite late at night. perfect for the flight lay over guys. i thought it was well worth the money. hope the info was helpful.

If you do not know the city they take always the longest way also... Get a GPS and you can go almost to any clinica or prive during the day.. BUt first google the map to know how far is from your hotel and what part of the city is.. DO NOT intent to go to the perimeters when is dark and you will be fine..

    GRU bound

On a saturday I would recommend you to leave at least 2,5 hrs in advance, so you are sure to be at airport between 2 and 1,5 hrs before take off time.

Speaking of traffic in Sp which is notoriously crazy, if I have a flight say at 2pm leaving from GRU and if I were to say near Avenida Paulista, how long in advance should I leave the hotel on a Saturday morning? Would 2 hours be sufficient?

Thanks again for all for their feedback.

They were unable to prove that Bahamas was a brothel? Well, is not surprising, Money is the strongest law in our planet.. unbelievable the level of hypocrisy our society has reached.. Remember the Guy how was force to quit in NY over a scandal for using an escort service?? Nobody really cared what he tried to do good putting an stop to the Wall Street lords, I don't like politicians but I did like that guy, and not because he was a fella monger hehehe
Well, something good about the closing of Bahamas and Milenum was that GPs finally came to their senses and you were able to find a decent 9 for almost half price you spend at Bahamas.. I did score even a couple of them in Augusta and that never happened before ,, Some of them still working in cheaper casas and many are online .. So I was Ok with the house down...
