When I look at a web site such as Photo Acompanhantes, the prices listed per hour show 150 to 300 BR. Yet when I read here I see that gals charge 1000 BR at Scandallo and 500 BR at Cssarao. Even the ugly gals on the street near Cassarao ask 300-500.

Why such price discrepancies with the internet prices? Is it gringo pricing?

This kind of contrast between online and clubs in just about every city. It's just a market segmentation.

Club girls: These girls may only get one client a day or one client every couple of days. They need to charge higher prices to make it worth it. However, these girls may have lower mileage. Clubs also have room costs. You also have the ability to see the girl before paying here. Further, clients at clubs tend to have more money, meaning not just foreigners but also locals. You go to a club expecting to pay 500-1000 Reais so the street girls charge proportionally more. If you have been to Medellin, it is the same as Centro vs Parque Lleras street girls.

Online: Since these girls are at a more accessible price point, they tend to get more clients. It's not rare to have an online girl get 5-7 clients per day which adds up to over 2000 Reais / day for some girls. This involves more actual sex though but the clients are just a text away. Bait and switch is also an issue here.

It all comes down to what kind of experience you prefer and what your budget is. Personally, from my time in Scandello, I haven't found any girl that is hot enough to justify spending an extra 700 Reais in Brazil. But for some more time poor and financially rich, or more discerning mongers, perhaps the story is different. Explore different options and see what works for you.

Forget photo accompaniments, mate. It is too much work to find a decent girl and you are right, hunting down reviews is often times a futile gesture.

If money is a concern, stick with clinicas and RTFF. There are a ton of reports on them in this forum. IMHO the Moema clinicas provide the best bang for the buck in all of South America. So, I am a fan as well as a frequent customer. And this advice is coming from a guy who also likes to spend his nights and $$ in boates like Scandallo & Bomboa. Photo Accompanates is usually bait and switch. You don't know what you are getting. Scandello and Casarao are boates where you see what you are getting. Even the internet escort sites are pretty reliable with what is coming to your door but they are more expensive.

Gringo pricing does exist. Just learn to negotiate.

You are going to pay R300 for entry which can be used for consumption so you might as well eat and drink with that money. Since you are coming in at 630, you will get the second shift of girls plus the first so you should see some good quality. The last shift comes in by 9 I think so you could hang around for that. While hanging around, get phone numbers of girls if you aren't willing to session and tell them that you will arrange with them outside the club.

I usually go to Scandello solo. You don't need to drink anything or smoke anything or even get a booth to attract the women. All the women are working girls. Take a shower, smell good and dress nice (I wear a pair of jeans and a polo) and be nice. Just use the consumable part for the girls drinks if you want. Word of warning about cash. Normally I advise just pull what you need each day. But we had a problem with that this visit. We couldn't find a machine within 15 minutes walk (Moema) that would give more than 1000 R ($200) per transaction. You can run the card multiple times but it's a pain. And Santander wouldn't take my card.

So if you really really don't want to use credit because your wife is a hawk say, then maybe exchange some so you have a buffer. Getting cash each day was a pain in the ass.

However the shortage of cash now may be due to the high price of mongering in SP's high-end venues, so that Bradesco's 500+ dollars no longer keep you flush for long. I wonder how much mongers here are prepared to blow during a single Scandallo visit. 1000? Several thousand?

If your using Cash, there is fundamentally no constraint if you have the right debit card that allows a Daily ATM Withdrawal of at least $500 USD / Euro or $1000 USD / Euro and No Fees

So based on rates described in posts on this informative forum most get quotes of $R800 to $R1000 (and tier 1 quotes to $R1500+) So lets take the middle ground of $R1000 for first round and if your capable of a second round in a single outing you're at least taking $R500(Entry)+$R1000 for a One&Done only round =$R1500 (if capable for second round total $2500 R) simple not complicated.

Generally, I carry $R2500 (Entry + Two ($R1000) rounds) + CC in case of break glass emergency.

If you're willing to pay more per session, then obviously you need to bring more cash or use other financial combinations.

If you are using Combination of Cash and CC (as some posters have already said a few posts down, when in a pinch) this will probably allow you to stretch out a little more than Cash Only. Now if you're using a Credit Card then probably the sky is the limit, you will deal with the pain later.

You have to set your budget and determine how many sessions. To determine how much cash to bring. Like the commercial says.
