I understand. But regardless what the policy is, the purpose of my post is tailored to provide information to help newbie in this situation, not a trip report or a complaint about girls. It also helps newbies to understand the pricing dynamic. The girls automatically lowered the price on more than one occasion when they approached me. I also have 500 BRL first offer the last time because I want to find out what the unattractive girls charge so I asked when they approached me.

Another point is don't grope the girl if you are not ready to commit. I kept my hands to myself when she was fondling my dick inside my pants.

I dress poorly or very simple, my shoes are dirty, and my overall appearance is unremarkable.

I don't disagree about the rule. What I reported is what happened to me. I was alone sitting on the couch by the elevator. They would sit down next to me first. Some would start to make small talk if I didn't initiate. My post topic specifically says it is for newbie. It's a baiting process, she started with drink, then hoping I would grope her, following me to the bathroom was the most unusual, and her dropping her price to 500 BRL I told her my true intention early that I just got off work and wanted to relax, I don't want to have sex yet but I should have rejected her from the beginning.

Some also approached me in the restaurant when I was having dinner to ask if I want a companion. I reported a college girl did that before. It also happened two more times last week. Then a few that just talked dirty to me in the bar like eating my ass, or suck my dick and stuff like that.

I could say this about myself at Scandallo or any other boates. If I show interest at a girl and initiate conversation, 99% of the time I would take her to the room and frequently that is the only girl I talked to all night because the girls I have picked at Scandallo always say yes to all my requests consistently so no reason for rejection unless she insists on going to the room right away.

Typically the girl will not approach you but they will lock eyes with you and smile waiting for you to approach. One of my best experience was with a girl that was with a group of girls all night like she wasn't there working. Her friends noticed me and left her alone at the table for me to approach. This was the policy for sure in cafe photo when it re opened in Oct. And it was like that when I went in Nov. Made it more relaxed just to look around, have some drinks and chat with your friends and once you're ready you just flag a girl down to come over.

Another reason why I liked SP over Rio since in rio all the termas are small and so girls will approach all the time. Solarium was the best for me in Rio because the girls who would approach would just make small talk and ask if you needed help talking since they can spot a non porto speaker a mile away. Never would try to get me to buy them drinks and would just be very chill.

I just would not automatically dismiss a GP for thier perceived aggressiveness ...The GP may think speaking english will "make you comfortable" how many BMs complain (or are hesitant or are frustrated) that they don't understand portuguese and communicating via translator app is not the best experience to communicate....

I found centaurus in rio to be the worst offender where I was constantly approached by 2 girls at the same time and they would offer me a "deal" to go with both of them at whatever price within 3 minutes of me sitting down.

Happened every single time I went.

If a GP is interested it's pretty obvious and they put effort to make you comfortable and will ask a low price or go down on their price.

I had a carioca pause her vacation and fly back to see me for one day just so we could get some lunch and fuck and then flew back out the next day.

Funny enough I had only met her once back in September 2020 so guess I made a really good impression on her, she was also a centaurus girl so go figure.

We still stay in contact and she's always helping me out navigate rio and even gave me some advice on another GP.

So when a GP likes you she really lets you know.

Centaurus has been an unique case for a long time. It's in the heart of the tourist zone. For years, they had a girl greet you and follow you around. You had to shake her off if you were not interested.

I believe the management encourages the hardsell tactics. Centaurus has never had the fun atmosphere of other termas.

I also met a Centaurus girl. I didn't know it at the time. It was in an outdoor cafe on Ave. Atlantica. She was as chill as could be hanging out. I told her I didn't have enough cash on me to take her to my apartment. She said it was okay if I got the money in the morning.

The private doctor without insurance is not cheap in my experience. I saw a doctor on the same day appointment for 500 BRL. The other private chain clinics I tried was like 350 BRL for booking but it's not the same day.

Nounce, 500 BRL is nothing to see a doctor. You might be coming from a European country with a socialized health system. I'm guessing Bearsi does not have insurance coverage that covers this procedure in its entirety.

The worst one's in my personal experience would be the girls who speak decent english and try to get you to go with them because they think it's better for you since the language barrier isn't a issue.

I just would not automatically dismiss a GP for thier perceived aggressiveness (and hope BMs don't dismiss them out of hand) YMMV. There are many reasons for so call agressiveness (most of which is true there are sharks in the water seeking thier next target / victim). I also wouldn't put down a GP who speaks english. The GP may think speaking english will "make you comfortable" how many BMs complain (or are hesitant or are frustrated) that they don't understand portuguese and communicating via translator app is not the best experience to communicate. Yet we are on the defensive with a English speaking GP. If they speak english maybe the GP educated and/or have a regular job and they come to Scandallo as a GPSJ. They approach a BM sometimes because they are attracted to them.

Get the joke. ESL (English as a Second Language) vs GPSJ (Garota de Programa as a Second Job) LOL!

Also a Newbe could be agressive due to the competition and they trying to make money but they still want to be with you. Once they get the lay of the land and understand how things work they may be tone down thier agressiveness but non the less if you look like Chris Hemsworth / Brad Pit what is a GP to do? LOL.

I figured since there are tons of hospitals that it would be fairly reasonable to find a good one that can do the sinusitis surgery for a few thousand BRL.

Which is a fair rate since the same rate in the US is 5-7 K USD.

Again sorry to stray a bit off topic but I figured some one on the board had experience doing some medical stuff in Brazil since I think one of the top 3 reasons people travel is for cheap medical work to be done.

I know what you mean but at least in my case it was always just a sell. They'd throw out a number and stick to it. Then once you're in, start the countdown and only one shot and then she's off to the next guy downstairs.

I've had some good connections with clinica / terma girls who would just want to hang out and show me around the city or have a cheap dinner and go back to my place to have some fun at no charge.

Add Skybar at Hotel Unique to the list. On weekends there are working girls but I never talked to them since I always had a companion. Next door Antoinette Mansion is a restaurant where the sugars take their companions that look very well taken care of.

The ditching process: Some first timers can get trapped by an overly aggressive girl. I always find these girls are the worst in bed. The most popular girls tend to not approach you, they don't have to. A lot of western guys are sometimes too polite to get rid of the overly aggressive girl. Remember you are a paying customer, you are there for the purpose of banging the girl you want to bang, hence be polite but firm in the ditching process. If you get trapped, try the following.

The mistake I had probably was too friendly and bought her drinks and she took advantage of that. I now still buy beer occasionally (no cocktail which double the beer price, beer is about 40) to girls that are friendly, but I told them right away that I know she is working, and she does not have to stay.

She wasn't bad looking, but I was looking for a new BMW, not a used one. LOL.

I would say as a rule of thumb, the ones that approaches you or are regulars to the club can be had for much lower price.
