I usually arrive at a Boate around 9:30. While I have seen a few superstars just arriving at Scandallo between 10:30 and 11, most of the girls are there by 10. They have to be in order to gain free admission. The courtyard bar and entertainment bar are usually open by 9 except on very slow nights.

Casarao is the late night boate. There is no point in going there before 11:30. I have trouble waiting that long to start my night, thus most of the time, I don't go there, but occasionally I head over there after a 1st night's tryst in Bomboa. I have never gone there after a 1st night's session in Scandallo, however, KKK. There are too many hotties wandering around Scandallo to allow me to leave until I am finished for the evening.

We are making a trip to in the next few months and our goal is to venture to Curitiba. Have no clue other than (Sense) and the Curitiba page is dead for ages hence posting here.

4 days Friday thru Monday = Curitiba, Monday to Thursday = Rio, then Friday to Monday = SP. 10 day trip.

How can we make Curitiba a success. Promise to come back and give a detailed Trip report.

Any help and guidance? We prefer clubs like Sense, but also smaller places that has 5-8 garotas, or massage clubs, or independents.

What does it have exactly? I read on a different forum a guy gave one girl from there 5000 USD for the week, and pointed out he only did CBJ / CFS. I don't bar hop or goto clubs even in the states, so no experience and outfit. What would be the expectation to go or do the girls make it easy for those reserved individuals?

I can only speak with statistical accuracy of Boate, Clinica, Terma and high-end Escort girls and sadly 90% of the girls I have been with have insisted on CFS at least on our 1st time together with only 1 in 30 (3%) of the no's willing to accept a 100 to 200 tip offer to go bareback. BBBJ's are still the default, however. This is the only complaint I have with Brazilian girls. If you are like some of my pals over in the Asian ISG forums, then Brazil is not for you.

I think you will get answer more quickly if your questions are more focused. The food, trans and stuff like that are not that important, and you can find out easily anyway.

For Scandello, and other high end boates, you can get the menu to check out the price. If you are not sure, ask the bartender. It is common in Brazil for a place to give you card upon entry to keep a tab on your purchases. You pay upon exit and they will give you a receipt or the card back so you can use them to leave the checked exited gate / door.

Be prepared for Scandallo to be astoundingly expensive. And totally worth it. Dont go there with a mind to save a buck. You go there to be king the world and that doesn't come cheap.

One thing to know tho is the alcohol and mixer are charged separately. They do this in Moscow also. So maybe Jack is $15 and a coke $10. So a Jack and Coke is $25 (actually a bit more as I recall). So if you do want to save a little drink your alcohol straight up. But again. Don't go there if a few hundred dollars is a lot of money.

I appreciate the feedback and advice and hear the criticism. To be fair though, I am working my way through the forum. Somewhere between the three pages of cell-phone provider chat and the conversations about Thailand, I just figured I'd write down some questions.

I actually came to the same conclusion and started putting together my own Google Map! It's slow going, but I'm getting a picture of the area now.

At the moment, I'm thinking of aiming for visits to Abbobora, Prime and Palms, and then depending on my work dinners, a visit to Scandallo for certain, and possibly either Casarao or Bomboa.

I apologize GR if my post came down too hard on you. But just mentioning "strip clubs" in the same paragraph as SP Boates is like pouring nitro glycerin on a barbeque. It sets me on fire. KKK.

There are many outstanding 5-star Steak and Japanese Sushi restaurants in SP. The restaurants in Scandallo and Bomboa cannot match these culinary gems, but the food in these 2 boates is very good nonetheless and you should not hesitate in trying them out especially if you decide to hang around after your 1st session and possibly go a 2nd round with a different girl afterwards.

Your tentative plan sounds like a good starting point, but like I said, all plans go out the window once a trip begins in earnest.

Might throw Cafe Photo in the mix tho I have not been. They have on-site rooms now.

P.S. Casarao and Bomboa are both worthy but totally different. Casarao is a packed narrow bar with two floors. Pretty mixed clientele TBH because it's reasonably priced. Bomboa is like a high end supper club. Both good in different ways.

Hey Steve, all the SP Boates have unique ambiences and are very different from one another. Casarao, in particular, is the most un-boate like boate in SP. It operates more like a fast track pick up bar. There is no point in hanging around there after you have found a girl. Just take her to your bed and have fun. I like it occasionally because it is a raw slice of Sao Paulo FL and very inexpensive.

Scandallo, on the other hand, is the high-end class joint of the city with the most honest to goodness lookers and the sexiest tier 2 girl next door types. I love it and I like hanging out there all night. I know you do too. KKK. Bomboa is my 2nd favorite boate and you are absolutely right; it feels like a high-end supper club with friendly and experienced tier 2 type girls (very few tier 1's however) and the wait staff is exemplary.

But you can call me crazy if you want, but I am not a big fan of Cafe Photo. Although they do have a few pretty girls, their initial asking price is higher than comparable quality girls in Scandallo and I do not like the "no approach the customer" rules in this club. Nearby Bahamas is a lot more fun IMHO although on average their girls might not be quite as attractive, they are certainly cheaper. KKK.

Thanks! 11 pm, eh? I mean, I can swing it, I suppose. I'm not usually a super late-night guy, but on work trips, I am often out until 2 or 3, plus I will have the time zone difference working in my favor. Is that just the boates? I was kind of thinking I'd hit up clinicas in the day-time and then aim for the higher-end experience after dinner.

I only listed the places I've been to give context that I'm not a full on noob, just new to Brazil. I very much hope that the experiences in Brazil are as different and as varied as I've been able to experience in other places, and come to the forums here to avoid the same-old traps / bad experiences that are everywhere and typically target gringo tourists. I've tried to wing it some places, only to end up getting hit up for tips by a geriatric mamasan. I'll see if I can find your restaurant reviews!

1) I envy you your first afternoon roaming around Moema and your first couple of nights in the Boates. Remember this: all the plans you may have made prior to arrival will go out the window after your first afternoon and your first night on the town. 7 nights or whatever the duration of your 1st trip will only whet your appetite for more adventures to come.
