So for my last night in Sao Paulo this week I finished dinner too late to head to a real clinica like I wanted, so I stuck around the hotel and hung out in the lobby to finish some calls and emails and check the scene. Anyway, point is stop paying gringo price evening if you can afford it now. Trust me, the girl will never forget what you paid and will ask the same each time, she won't accept less.

Before the pandemic the going rate was 1000 R for overnight with a Scandallo girl and now they want that for 1 hour. The exchange was around 4 in 2019 so that is $250 usd for overnight so lets say it drops to 4 again and you pay 2000 R still that is 500 usd. Pandemic is ending so the rate going down to 4 is in the near future. This now makes it really difficult for other mongers probably. For everyone that is paying 20000 R sake, please stop paying gringo prices. People ask me what is a fair rate and I said no more than 1500 R for overnight!

Staying near the Eucaliptos metro stop would put you near several Moema clinicas. It also has the advantage of being across the street from Shopping Ibirapuera. It's a decent shopping mall for walking around and eating. There's a supermarket right there too.

For a variety of reasons beyond mongering, I have stayed in Jardim Paulista. Quite a few guys here like staying in Moema. It has a different vibe than Republica so make sure you are cool with that.

The prives are great, loaded with talent (performers) but I had to take a metro everytime, to 5-6 stops on theblue line, and walk like 10 min in the hot suburbs looking for the prive lmao., as opposed to rio centro, they're all in 4-5 buildings within a square mile or so.

If you know gpguia, then you should be familiar to the SP scene. Lots of crazy opportunities in this city. Impossible to do it all and everybody have different preferences and styles.

Based on my experience, Rio is much better in that regard, more concentrated, and better quality. There are a few prive buildings in o Centro that are walking distance from Republica metro but the quality is not good. The same type of buildings like the one near cracklandia, I assume you consider that prive. Occasionally you can find a diamond, but very very rare. And you have to fuck in the setting similar to the cubicle like U24 in Rio. I know some like it that way but I like something clean and privacy. LOL. There are other prives but more spread out and I have not been to those. Have you been to Tangara? It's only 120 for 30 minutes.

I like Republica. There are a lot of food options and very lively at night. I plan to stay there my next trip.

Rio centro is paradise for mongers. Like a dozen prives with 100 girls in a square mile. Easy to find. Sp has a ton as well, but so much damn walking in the suburbs and metro stops.

And yea, I'm a cheap bastard, so even if you get a 70 reais girl from photoacompanhtes by republica you're still fucking in a 8 x8 cubicle with little roaches in the bathroom haha!

It's a tough one man, sp has much better housing / infrastructure / food, but rio has the perks of a loaded prive centro and the beach / higher end copa, if one pleases.

Why don't you stay in the middle of the Sao Paulo clinica scene? You can find nice condos in Moema and walk to the various clinicas. Of course, you can venture out to other clinicas in other neighborhoods. (My advice is don't stay in Republica.).

If I'm a bit confused by the vernacular you are using, I suspect others will be. Sao Paulo is not known for termas. And I would say SP clinicas are fairly similar to prives if not exactly. Clinicas are great for afternoon fun (as well as evening).

I heard there is going to be a truckers strike starting about the 23rd. Has anyone there heard about this and what it might do to us during a visit? I will be arriving the 19th and returning April 4.

The person who told me about it was there during a trucker strike a few years back and he said they rationed gas?

Few years ago when they had a truckers strike I was in POA, it just means it will be hard to get transportation for taxi, since people have no petrol to put, and that time it got bad, not sure if it was worse, that even the airplanes might not be able to fly. Luckily that time the planes still could fly, and I could go home. So truckers strike means look forward to lack of public transportation, ohh and empty restaurants. That was cool, me and a girl all alone in the restaurant, with our own server, candlelight dinner. Expect restaurant to close early too. But should be fine in a city like sp.
