Can someone help explain this differences

Now with that said, let me jump into this very controversial issue of which city is more fun:

A year ago, I was in the exact same position as you are now and about to make my 1st trip to Brazil. So I divided my time 55/45 between SP to RJ and I had a great time in both cities. They are very different, but the one thing they have in common is Brazilian girls and they are superb. On my 2nd trip in October I divided my time 65/35 between SP and RJ. See where this is going? KKK. It turned out that I personally preferred the clinicas and boates over the termas and the beach. But that is just me. Anyway trip #3 is coming up this April and I am going to spend 6 weeks in SP (full immersion), and only 1 week in RJ (I couldn't not spend some time in RJ), and I will see how it goes.

A few comments come to mind:

    1. Scanadallo lives up to the hype. It is an amazing bordello and one of the best in the world. I am a believer. But don't forget about the other boates like Bomboa. They are a lot of fun too.

    2. The termas are also great, but not as great. LOL. 4 x 4 gets pretty wild and it is very colorful, so you have to go, but Solarium has more girls with the kind of looks and bodies that are more to my personal liking. But both of these termas are a must when you visit RJ..
Can someone help explain the difference between a clinica, boate, terma, an prives? I always read this forum an the Rio forum an always get thrown off.

I'm from LOS Angeles an make random trips to Hong Kong in Tijuana. Which one of those 4 club types most closely resembles Hong Kong? An I'm not sure I'd even have a preference, I just want to have the ability to scout the talent an pick whichever suits my needs.

I'm trying to plan a trip this May, an trying to map all this out.

    Thanks!

I think Rio is more similar to BKK than SP does.

Or "to each his own". For example, I prefer BKK over Pat, but no way do I consider Pat a waste of time. No fucking way! It is my 2nd favorite spot in LOS, 555, and I go there and spend at least 10 days on top of the 5 or 6 weeks I spend in BKK every time I visit Thailand. It is nice to get out of the big city after a while and seriously, Pat's got more Go Go's, I am talking quality Go Go's than BKK. So what's not to like?

Anyway, it is the OP's prerogative to prefer BKK over Pat. But if this is the case then it is probably a safe bet that he will prefer SP over RJ. But I still recommend, like everyone else who has posted a response, that he check out both destinations as long as time permits so he can indulge and judge for himself. You never know unless you give it a shot.

I am almost overwhelmed, specifically by Sao Paulo and the incredible options available in that city. I think I could hit a nice clinica (or two) each day and then Scandallo each night and consider it a great visit. This is not even including the girls on twitter that I have zeroed in on that appear to be pretty amazing as well.

My question for those that are familiar with both SP and Rio might be a loaded question. Is Sao Paulo all that it appears to be and is the termas experience in Rio (4 x4, Centraus, Solarium, etc) worth giving up my valuable time in SP given everything SP appears to offer? In other words, would you give up a night at Scandallo for a night at a Rio termas? I ask this question because I once carved out time from a Thailand trip to visit Pattaya and wished that I had just stayed in Bangkok because there were so many better options.
You might not want to put much weight on my opinion because I'm shocked you were sorry that you carved out time in Thailand to visit Pattaya. I love the beach towns especially when they have great nightlife with sex available. Like Thailand it's a long trip to Brazil and you should imo visit both Rio and Sao Paulo just because they are so different. You can plan on visiting 3 or 4 Sao Paulo clinicas each day because they are close together. I needed to usually hit 3 of them before I found a garota with my desired body type (skinny) to session. After six days of hitting clinicas days and boates at night I would think you would enjoy the change of scenery that Rio offers both in terms of a nice beach touristy area and different hobby venues. How would you know what you like better if you don't visit both? For that reason alone you should be glad you visited Pattaya as well.

SP is amazing for the amount of nice high quality options and cheap ones as well for both day and night time. I also think SP girls are way hotter than RJ ones unless you like black girls because there's hardly in SP. I'm more into brancas, loiras and ruvias so it fits my bill. If you like a more tanned look than RJ is the place although some SP girls are tanned but I seen it's more from a machine. That being said SP is really boring as a city. Not much else to do but eat and shop besides fucking. Food is good and well diverse! But I got bored after my 7th day. SP girls are very busy so you won't catch them all the time and if you want to extend your time with them you might not be able to since they have a set schedule usually.

Compared to RJ girls who are very go with the flow and will show you around the city and give you a real GFE experience without much effort or money. RJ is much more fun besides hobbying and I think it's a nice breath of fresh air after going nuts in SP.

Termas and other venues are much much smaller than SPs but it's a different vibe with a different attitude where people just want to have fun, eat churrasco, be at the beach and fuck.

Always best to go to both for your first trip. For "long" trips 7+ days it's always worth it to go to both. For a short trip like a 4 day weekend kind of thing then it's best to just pick one.

    3. The clinicas are great afternoon entertainment and a great deal to boot, but you will have to check out both the clinicas and the boates to see which venue you prefer. Everyone has their own opinion on this. For example, a friend of mine prefers the clinicas and spends most of his SP time there while I prefer the boates and I spend the majority of my time at the boates. He likes the clinica set up better and he likes to do 2 or even 3 clinica girls a day. I, on the other hand, prefer to do 2 boate girls at night. I tried doing a clinica girl in the afternoon and one boate girl in the evening, but it didn't work for me.

    4. RJ obviously has beaches and for many that is a huge plus.

    5. SP is more expensive than RJ if you are comparing boates to termas. But SP is not more expensive for punters who prefer the clinicas. And IMHO the clinicas are much better than the prives.

So I will end this by saying that if you like beaches a lot you will probably prefer RJ over SP. But if beaches are not your thing you will probably prefer SP over RJ. And if money is no object you will probably hang out at the boates every night.

Yes, Sao Paulo is all that it appears to be and more. The termas in my opinion are not worth giving up your time in SP, but if you have never been to Rio de Janeiro, you should definitely go. My opinion is affected by the fact that I don't know RJ very well, but I have visited some termas. In October, or was it November, I was in 4 X4 and it was fun, but nothing you can't find in Casarao in larger scale.

What is Prive? Is it same as Clinica

Newbie question: How is prive different from clinica?

    Any notable prives?

    Thanks,

    TIG.

SP is more polished, more business like and more formal. The girls are more expensive because SP has more money floating around due to it being the financial hub of Brazil. I think the girls are hotter in SP.

Rio is more laid back, informal and go with the flow vibe. The girls are cheaper because the locals are poor according to the girl I was with on my last day in SP.

I enjoy Rio for the laid back vibe but I prefer SP for the wide variety of girls, the hotness level and the variety of food options.

Try both on your first trip and then narrow it down the next time.

    No.

    Go to Rio.

    Barra posto 1.

Take the metro to centro prives by day, and go to perola negra and olegario maciel by night. Get pernoites with the hottest women.

My opinion is that there is no contest between Scandallo and the top-tier Rio termas. Scandallo wins. You can have fun in a Rio termas for less money, but that's entering another variable. The less expensive boates and the clinicas can help balance the value proposition of the two cities.

The real trade-off is do you want the Rio beaches and its magnificent cityscape. Rio is a premier tourist destination for good reason.

Beyond dining and the working girls, I don't find Sao Paulo that interesting of a city. I actually think Bangkok is a more interesting city. Giving up Rio for more time is SP has been discussed many times and it's a matter of personal preferences.
