There are no limits. The limit is placed by your bank, and your banking relationship. Some people have accounts that can't withdraw more than $300 US others can do a lot more. If you do, have to use an ATM, please by God, do it only in the day, before 5 pm, inside the bank. Good luck.

You can withdraw 2500 from most Bradesco ATM's. Santander max withdrawal is 3000. If I am wrong, one of the vets on here can chime in. I do recall something about limits on Sundays but not sure on that.

I have created notes on places to stay, eat, prices of clinicas, boates, etc. It's all here if one is willing to go back and read.

Funny you mention that, because I was wondering the same thing last year and even the year before. I was thinking, either I am getting old? Or is this Tattoo thing becoming a new fad? Thats true. Many years ago they implemented curfew hours as well due to the high crime rate at the ATM locations. Especially, with drunk tourists who have no idea. It was an epidemic of crimes in SP and Rio. I normally, or even never, go to ATMs. I hedge my cost, by buying currency when the conversion rates hit certain levels. I get alerts, then I buy currency at that time. So when its time to travel, I'm not at the mercy of the currency exchange if it happens to be at a lower spot market. I place everything on credit card, and use the cash on hand, accordingly, as ya'll know. .

Tattoos are nothing in Brazil compared to Thailand. In Thailand even charwomen and housewives are covered in tattoos.

I don't have any experience with civvy girls but can def say virtually all club girls have tattoos. There is a rare exception here and there but let's say 90+%. That said it's not like they all have backplates or sleeves. Just pretty much every girl has tattoos. I've come to find it a rather nice decoration and it can be attractive. I don't think you will find urself put off by it.
