Met up with a fellow ISGer last night at Scandallo and had a blast. I'm definitely a believer. There's really no experience for me that comes close to what Scandallo is / was.

The fact that the girl / guy dynamic is totally upended at Scandallo is worth the entry price alone. At every other club you have a swarm of guys around any hot girl, but at Scandallo you have scores of girls begging for attention. The quality of girls there is of course variable, but there are just so many, that no matter your taste, you'll likely find someone that suits your style. Half the fun is spending time just looking at the girls, but weirdly also having to avert your eyes from girls who are looking to come over that you might not be into.

Of course deep down we really know exactly the reason why the dynamic is the way it is, but honestly if you have the money to spend, it's really like no other. The other bonus and again justifies the entry fee aline was that I was able to grab the numbers of a couple girls that I liked who I will try to meet up with later in the week too.

My recent Uber ride to airport from Moema shares the dangerous driving aspect of your experience.

I have used Uber for all my local transportation needs in Brazil. I had few dangerous / rough rides in rio but the recent one tops them all. It was after 8 pm and there was not much traffic, the driver speeding at 130-140 kmh and changing lines from one end to other just to get past few cars on the road and tailgating extremely close to vehicles on the fast lane (left most lane). I didn't think I would get to airport. It was the scariest ride of my life.

My first time in Sao Paulo, I was in a taxi at Shopping Ibirupuera that almost hit a pedestrian. The guy was driving totally too fast and didn't see the person. I shouted to alert him so that he didn't hit the man! I found the driving in Sampa to be worse than in Rio. At least during that first trip. In any event, it's too often that they don't seem to know where they're going in either city. Had a taxi driver in Porto Alegre get lost while using GPS even (slaps forehead). He did take a little money off of the fare, which was appreciated.

Kind of random question, but what kind of music is usually on at Scandallo? I know there's a nightclub area, so I assume that that's the typical poppy, bass heavy, club music. Mix of pop, electro, reggaeton, etc. I'm down with that. But I've also been reading about the club hosting live bands? What's that about? Rock, classic rock? Not really what I would expect from a nightclub I guess.

I have nothing against Uber and I used it 31 times during my last trip in 2020. I just don't want to use it for my airport transfers. The bad experience started when the driver arrived to my hotel in Jardins. He was quite old and didn't even know where I was going to? When I told him I was going to the GRU airport, his answer was "so far". I told him that if he doesn't want to take me there, I can order another car. "No, it's not a problem, but we have stop by a gas station to get more diesel or gasoline", I don't remember which one. He had a specific gas station somewhere in Bela Vista, where he wanted to stop. After filling up, we started the journey to the airport. His car was in desperate need for a new pair of shocks. He had a navigation app that I had never seen before and somehow he succeeded to change the lanes from the main road to the lateral lanes and back where the Google Maps in my phone showed red. He was cursing the traffic all the time when he was changing the lanes between the heavy trucks. His driving was dangerous. I don't remember exactly all the details, because it was 2019, but when we arrived to the airport, I decided that I will never use Uber again to or from the airport. The driver was too old for that job and his car didn't feel safe. The Guarucoop has nice cars and the last time a taxi driver from shopping Ibirapuera, with a very good car, took me to the airport.

Thank you! I was worried that he took you to an abandoned warehouse and wouldn't drive you to the airport until he relieved you of everything except your passport and a pair of underwear.

Yes, I've had a few crappy cars and a few times drivers took me on suboptimal routes (though not as dramatic as going through downtown to get from Moema to Tangara) and I kinda wrote it off as "such is life". Ordering "VIP" rides I generally had reasonably decent cars and competent drivers. Plus, Uber relieves me of any necessity to talk. This would not be the case for a taxi or any other mode of transportation.

I also had an incident with another, young Uber driver. I gave him the address for clinica Tangara. The next thing I knew, I was in downtown Sampa, after 30 min driving on the highway. It was my first time going from Moema to Tangara. I suspected something was amiss. Finally, I asked him whether he was going the wrong way. After some exchange with my bad Portuguese, he recognized that something was wrong. But, he was very sorry and I did not care much. I enjoyed the ride, and it was not that expensive. I took many other rides with Uber drivers an they all went fine.

Same thing happened to me during my first visit to Sampa. Was wanting to go to Miruna, and the old guy took me to downtown! That was a taxi driver though. Wanted to curse him for wasting my time, but didn't know enough words in Porto to do so LOL! He would always be waiting in front of the hotel I stayed at during that trip. Avoided hiring him again like the plague!

I had the same experience when I was in Sampa. The fellow who showed up to take me to the airport was an older gentleman with an older car. I honestly did not feel safe in that car, nor with the driver. I wished I had taken a regular taxi.

Would you please care to elaborate about your bad experience with Uber going to the airport? I've been taking Uber to / from the airport so this kind of information is highly relevant.

Taxis can use the bus lanes so is faster especially during rush hours.

Nobody can give you an absolute answer. Scandallo has a large large number of girls so it is easier to find what you like. For me 90% are interchangeable with the girls I can find in Clinicas or online. My percentage maybe lower because I already am adapted to other environment better, while others may have much higher percentage, only you can determine your percentage.

For value, I think it is easier to avoid the bad ones and scams at Scandallo. From that perspective, the value is good. If you count the all in price (entre, room, girl's fee) as the cost of the girl. The value may not be there unless you find the girl of your dream. I only count what the girl actually get after her cost. From this perspective, my response will be different.

When they are all naked, I noticed many of them have some scars or the skin are not as smooth as I would like, they are probably from childhood injuries or don't have the money to take care of themselves better. For that I will take points off the beauty scale.

For one thing you can check out the garotas up close and personal, minus: blurred faces, out-of-date fotos, deceptive camera angles, faces turned away from the camera, & heads cut-off from the shot. Plus, they're right there so you can actually talk to them, reach out and touch what you're interested in.

Kinda' thinking this was what buying a slave must of been like.

Many MClass & Club Model girls can be found at Scandallo when they are lacking a client, but many call girls prefer not to go there as long as they're online business is good. It is a personal preference on their part where they choose to ply their trade.

Quality wise you are looking at similar, overlapping values. At 400 br to 600 br per session these high-end call girls (MClass & Club Model) are a little cheaper, but there is added value in going to Scandallo, seeing many many more girls at the same time in the flesh, being able to talk, flirt, and conduct hands on auditions them before committing.

I prefer going out and picking up girls in a Boate / Club venue over searching for girls on the internet in my hotel room which can be a time consuming venture in itself and then waiting for a selected girl to show up. But there are some great girls on MClass & Club Model and Barra VIPs (in RJ). No doubt about it and I have several favorite repeat Call girls in both cities. But I also have several favorite repeat Boate and Terma girls whom I can hook up with directly whenever I like with no third party charges.

So, both sources (internet services and Boates) can provide you with great girls. If you like getting out, enjoying the nightlife and seeing lots of girls you will gravitate more towards the Boates. If you prefer remaining anonymous in your hotel room, you will prefer the call girl services.
