One thing to keep in mind is that when I went to Connection, Scandallo closed at 9 PM. So lots of talent from Scandallo went to Connection that week. But now that Scandallo is open until 4 AM, I doubt that's the case anymore. It might still be worth visiting, as the scene seems to be much free spirited in Connection (e. G. Making out, grabbing tits, etc).

I have no idea how closing at 9 works no wonder people said it was lame. Pre-Covid SP does not START until 11 earliest. If U show at 10 you will be lonely. At 12 it's in full swing and goes to morning.

When I did my first crazy 5 venues in 24 hrs in 2018, I left Scandalo after Karina around 330 Am and went to Casarao (currently closed). Did Carolina and exited the LH at 6 AM and people were still partying in the streets.

The later the better for the most part. 10 is def early.

Connections did sound fun but I think if ur DFKing a girl for a long time u need to have a plan to go to the room. Seems unfair otherwise. But maybe that’s just me. There are a few of those here in Rio, but honestly the non-pros fit this description more so that is where I have allocated a lot of efforts, unfortunately, because that defeats the purpose of a mongering trip. My Brazilian friends tell me that all the brancas are in the south of Brazil, so who knows, I may end up going farther and farther south until I'm at the border of Argentina begging them to let me in LOL! Next week I'll hit the ground in SP. I have immensely enjoyed reading Bearsi's reports as we seem to have similar values when it comes to the hobby. To paraphrase what he said in one of his posts, "I'm not flying 8 hours to fuck some average ass girls that I could back at home after a few drinks and spitting some game in a dive bar. " Being a young man myself, I have a quality dating life back at home so I'm not interested in banging 6's or 7's that hop in bed after a coffee date, dinner, and a night out. I'm searching for the 9's that I can only pull back at home after weeks or months of work.

My time in Rio (and Buzios) has been enjoyable as it truly is a beautiful city with great food and friendly people. The mongering scene is respectable but for my tastes I actually have to put in work a lot of the time to find what I am looking for, which I do not enjoy. I'm looking forward to the clinica scene of SP where I can be shown a line-up then move on if I'm not interested. I also would hate myself if I did not visit Scandallo.

Besides the fact that COVID is dampening the festivities, the weather can't be that bad. I've never found the Sao Paulo winter that harsh. It's like an autumn day in much of North America and Europe. You have to bring a jacket or coat.

I'm so excited when I'm in SP I hardly cogitate on the weather.

Rio I actually enjoyed the beauty that God bestowed upon the land and marveled at his wonders. I actually felt like I was in a movie set where everyone is living so carelessly and cameras never turn off.

It seems to be very difficult to find a airbnb that allows guests. Does anyone have some recommendations that allow it?

You just have to message them straight up and ask them if they mind you bringing in girls to the place. Some will say yes and others will say no or charge a fee.

Read the house rules on the listings as most of the Airbnb plus or super host explicitly state that no guests are allowed beyond the check in guests at arrival. It sucks and makes the search a pain but trust me you don't want to be sneaking around girls and having issue with the host / condominium staff.

The hosts know they drill and why guys come to Brazil so it's not out of the ordinary to ask for such a request.

If the listings says no guests but the host says it's fine I would be wary as it can get complicated with the host and buildings policies. I would just steer away from those completely.

Other members have posted hotels that seem to be girl friendly and good value ($38 a night).

SP has tons of good hotels and it's one of it's charm. Good alternative.

To be fair, read my first post from a few days ago and the ensuing convo thread. Although I admit I'm starting to warm up a little bit, I feel like I'm still just "making the best of it" here in SP. Now contrast that with my Rio reports from 2016. Lets just say that so far, I'm still looking forward to Rio at the end of this week.

Keep an open mind. There are many of us who prefer Rio, but drop in to SP for work and some leisure.

I and some others have expressed some uneasiness about negotiating. It does take away some charm to the magic but I've always paid 500-600 BRL in Scandallo. I guess I personally don't go for the "hot model" type with all the surgery and tattoos. Nothing wrong with that as I do like it occasionally but I do like the natural girl next door look and usually those girls charge or don't negotiate that high since they know most guys go for the model girls and so they go for the 500 since they are also at a disadvantage because a guy can just look around and get any other 50+ girls in the club.

The only way to beat a shark at its own game is to be a shark of your own. Next time, tell her straightforward what you expect and how much you are willing to pay. Also, tell her that you will go upstairs on your own time and don't want to be pressured. Now she has a choice. Either stay with someone who is pretty much a sure thing or look for someone else. This way, she has to take a decision and the pressure is off your shoulders. She now has to entice you and work for it. In the end, if you and her don't click, she moves on if there is enough meat for her to pick and choose. If the supply of dudes are slim, she will stay.

Glad to hear Scandello is open till 4 am again. I will be hitting it up in my next trip in August.

Most of these GND girls don't smoke or drink (just one or two at most) and I like that as cigarette / beer breath is a turn off for me personally.

I found that if you wait til 4 am or close to almost closing time (5 am) they'll take 500 no questions since they realistically won't be able to land another guy before closing time. I decided to go with a girl at 4:20 or so and they give you a yellow wristband so the staff know you sessioned late when you get out and you still get your 1 HR.

Also if you are lucky and the girl likes you or she actually does it just for fun you can get away for as low as 300 BRL (read a few posts from some lucky posters a few hundred pages ago so it can happen, not likely but luck favors the bold and brave).

Another thing.

When I went in January I didn't really speak to most of the girls at scadallo. I would just walk around and sit down at the restaurant and see the girls coming in and look for the one I wanted.

Other's can chime in on their thoughts but I didn't want to waste anyone's time just chatting up with a girl if I knew I wasn't 100% about the girl (from looks anyhow).

I didn't want to get any sob stories or pushy remarks if I ended up not sessioning with said girl and as a student of economics I don't want to deprive them of any actual customers while we're having our little chat. I remember coming back my third night at scandallo and none of the girls really piqued my interest so I walked over to this petite japa girl I sessioned with on my first night and told her if she wanted to chat a little and get some appetizer at the restaurant but she declined as she said she was working. Of course she didn't mind talking to a bazilian guy with 4 other girls who ended up not sessioning with any of them after like 2 hours.

One girl came up to me while I was eating at the restaurant asking if she can sit down and talk a bit. She was pretty but she seemed upset and I felt like I was going to get the sob stories and tear works and I was just trying to relax and eat in peace so I told her I was ok.

Another girl came up to me (twice) while I was just looking at the girls walking by at the club area deciding which girl I wanted and asked me if I just liked looking at girls like it was a crime LOL I was just drinking my coke and checking up on my stocks but it did seem pretty weird for her to call me out like that.

I guess I could have gotten a few girls zapp instead of just playing the waiting game but from my own personal experience and a few other posters, Sampa girls can be kinda cold as the few numbers I got from SP went dark and the one girl who I recently contacted trying to reconnect when I get back in Sep keeps making lame excuses like I lost my phone for 11 days and the texting is super generic.

The past Five to Ten pages (going back at least Twenty pages in both RJ and SP forums even better) has lots of information to digest and the discussion of RJ vs SP has been discussed within those pages, including where to hone your monger craft. Visiting both is best and both are very different areas. Have fun and please post detailed reports so other can learn from your experience.

AS indicated, it's wintertime in Brazil (SP&RJ) June-through-September. Temps can get ≤ 55F/12C and Day time generally warm. Bring a light to midweight coat/jacket for evening/night or be prepared to purchase one at mall. This holds true for RJ depending on where you're at wind coming off the water can really bring cool temperatures.
