    Is Sao Paulo lockdown extended?

I googled but couldn't find the information. Is Sao Paulo lockdown extended beyond April 4th? Or the lockdown ends tomorrow and things will be open as before?

Best of luck on your travels, Natty. I wish you many inexpensive pussies on your trip.

Brazil seems especially bad right now. Weather in Thailand is horrible. I was planning on getting vaccinated in July so I can visit Thailand twice this year within a 90 day window. I don't think I want to visit Brazil until their numbers start coming down. Partially due to fear of variants. But also due to lockdowns.

    Please keep us udpated, Natty!
They said is low risk but do not recommend travel still. International travel still need to test when returning.

I had to cancel my trip to down there this week since I am due to get the second Moderna shot next week. I will reschedule the trip for either end of April or by mid May. I agree with you fully. This pandemic ain't going nowhere and countries aren't all going to get full vaccinated by 2022/2023 and by then we will have new variants and have to keep the boosters going.
Best of luck to you! If things settle down a bit in Brazil, I'd love to visit, too. Until then, I'm making plans for Thailand for now.

Maybe I should try Costa Rica. Their covid numbers seem to be trending better.

Yeah, I know about the P1 Variant, the nightclub shutdowns and all that shit and I won't say I am happy about these current events, but I am still going, because #1. I have been vaccinated with 95% proof Moderna, and I think the odds are in my favor, and #2. I am just not going to let another year slip by doing nothing. 2020 was a total write off for me and I know I will never get that year back. I take my hat of to those guys who travelled nonetheless in 2020 and still had fun. Well played, sirs!

Meanwhile I had 2 Thailand / Jakarta trips canceled in 2020 and there is still no end in sight for a Thai re-opening in 2021 although the Thai Government is now talking about opening designated "sand lot" locations to vaccinated foreigners in the summer, but it is still just talk talk now. Meanwhile Brazil is suffering from a new Corona variant surge. When will the present crises in Brazil end and herd immunity set in is anyone's guess? Will the trouble be over by July? October? By January 2022/ January 2023/ January 2024? The answer is we don't know because there might be another rampant variant after P1 and another variant after that one ect ect? This pandemic might never go away completely.

So, no more waiting for me. Life is for living and for the taking of some risks. I am going! BTW, I am not expecting Rio or Sao Paulo to be anywhere close to what those towns were like pre pandemic. Even if the current closures are lifted, I know it ain't going to be like April 2019. And I am bar guy too, so it will be a drag for me if the termas and boates do not reopen on the 5th, but the hell with it, the bottom line is I won't let any of it deter me any longer. There are a ton of girls available out there, and I know where to find them and what to do with them. So, I know I am going to have a good time in Brazil in April / May 2021. Hi Ho!

But, if this is my last post to the board and I don't make it back home safe and sound, raise a glass of Tequila for me boys and know I died doing what I like to do best shag pretty girls. Rock On!

It looks some clinicas in Sao Paulo are still open during the lockdown

I sent whatsup messages to a few clinicas and it seems some clinicas such as Clinica Chanel, Lola Spa, etc. Are still open.

I salute any brave mongers who will be heading to Brazil soon. I'm sorry I won't be travelling to be able to submit trip reports and will be dependent on boots on the ground to keep us all updated.

Daniel I am fully with you. I hope you didn't cancelled and just put it on a another date. I booked my trip for mid September and put it a rescue string for shifting my date by 60 days for just 200 $ penalty. So its safe water. Besides I speculate I am vaccinated by the time. My only issue is to find and book a girl willing to stay with me for long term, like 2-4 weeks. I wonder how much she would ask.

I hear you. Mid-March last year I had a flight booked to Frankfurt, Germany, and a train on to Berlin. Hotels all booked. I canceled the day before because the writing was on the wall. A few days after that, they suspended all international travel. No idea how I would have made it home from Europe. As XXL says, it is not inconceivable that flights from Brazil to the US could be affected in the near future as well.

    Your advises please, thanks.
You should be more concerned about everything (including hotels) closing down and flights back home becoming unavailable for months on end.

That's how they discovered the P. 1 variant in the first place, lots of people in Manaus getting re-infected, and a fair number of those dying, including the younger ones.

Given their age and the current state of vaccine distribution, it is probably safe to assume that those girls had not been vaccinated when they got re-infected.
