That is disappointing news, as I was planning on visiting Bomboa during my next trip to Brazil. Bomboa was the first Boatel I have been to, and I was looking forward to a return visit in order to reminisce.

That is a surprise to me, considering Scandallo is already pretty big and modern. I wonder what they are going to add to Scandallo, as they already have a restaurant, outdoors area, and onsite rooms. The only thing I could think of is an Airbnb-like rooms, where guests can rent them out for a few nights. That way, you are literally right next to the club and can easily bring a girl back if you click well.

Mexico is still open. The hard part is getting a hotel room, but you can cross into Mexico freely. I have done it twice in the last 3 weeks.

I may be coming to SP.

Cartman says SP is better than RJ.

My situation is I can pretty much stay in Brazil and play the spread of shorting my property in the US and renting here in Brazil.

I believe it that the talent is better in SP, but I like the beach.

How hard and far is it to get to Santos?

Rovnak, it would be good to see you. Things seem to be opening up.

Oh, yeah, I want to make the best porn in the world.

Signup for important emails for the countries you fly to. There were only international 2 flights out of GRU last night, United and Latam.
It's the flight in situation that we need the latest updates for. Here's a website to bookmark:

This whole mess can't end soon enough.

For roundtrips, though, the fares are so front-loaded on the departure leg, it's hardly worth opting for a refund for the return (at least with United) if you can reasonably reschedule.

For traveler information: the Embassies have been pretty good about posting updates.

Airfare on United are getting expensive as they block off seats for social distancing. Gate agent said they are resuming flights from Newark and Chicago sometime in June.

On a related topic, even Airbnb is being more flexible with their policies for both hosts and potential guests.

I too absolutely love the Brazilian colloquial term 'test drive' and decided long ago to co-opt it as my own...haha.

But speaking of 'librarians', reminds me (back in the day 2004?) of a short thin morena cutie in Fortaleza with average looks and a very nice rack (I won't soon forget), that I lived with for about a month, who was studying to become a history teacher and just loved the library. Well not exactly 'test driving' my favorite librarian as you put it, but close enough...kkk

Thanks for the memories!! I hadn't thought about her in a while...Ahhh, yes that rack of hers!!!...kkk

BTW, Brazil has extended there ban on allowing regular tourists from entering Brazil for an additional 30 days from the original closure, which now goes to the 28th of May. That being said, who is to say they may have another extension after that depending on the statistics and the flattening of the curve. Hope this helps.
