Hi all,

I am Asian and will come to Brazil in March. I am familiar with Germany FKK, but I am confused of Brazil setup. For example Scandallo Lounge that recommended by a lot of senior here, is the setup same as Germany FKK club? Pay entrance fee and negotiate with the lady? What is the rate like in Scandallo Lounge? Just realized I booked my trip to SP right over the carnival holiday (I'm staying there Th. Su). Was this a huge mistake, if I wanted to check out Scandallo, Bomboa, and some of the clinics? Is it going to be extra quiet if everyone else is out for Carnival?

Hate to say it but your going to have to put in some work to get your answers. I don't know if anyone knows the hours of these establishments with carnival being 10 days away. Sometimes Establishments are slow or closed during carnival, your best bet is to make a list and contact (call / email) the establishments individually for operating hours.

You and Rextor should get together and get drunk and chase the civilians because the putaria during carnival is way below the normal levels. I am pretty sure that Moema Prime will be open most days, maybe Tangara, and probably Casarao at night. I would expect the expensive places like Bomboa, Photo and Scandalo to be ghost towns if they are open at all. But I could be wrong.

Cafe Photo is similar to Scandallo and Bomboa, but if my memory is correct, they do not have hotel rooms inside the club. In my opinion, Cafe Photo is a little more upscale compared to Bomboa. If you are planning on going to all 3, I would recommend Bomboa first, then Cafe Photo, and finally Scandallo.

Do we need to show the original passport / ID or would they accept a copy of the passport? Don't know how safe its to carry a passport around when you are drunk.

If you say you forgot to bring your passport, they might frown and stall for a bit, but eventually they will just write down your name. Remember, they are in business to make money and they are not about to just send your valuable tourist dollars walking to some other club.

Also I can see this ID check going away soon. In August 2020 Brazil is introducing its General Data Privacy Law. After that, the database that Scandallo is collecting on mongers like you will become a great burden. It just won't be worth the hassle of trying to stay compliant, assuming that the database is allowed at all.

Seriously data is a big business these days, but you don't want that data coming back to haunt you in twenty years. What will your position be? How will the moral climate have changed? There are guys today being hounded for stuff they did in the seventies, less than even going to a strip club. So no, never show your ID.
