There used to be a "guide" in Rio that would take guys to the termas. I looked down on him until I learned more about his services. He was fluent in Portuguese and able to help the guys communicate with the girls and avoid ones that he knew would not be a good experience. As I saw the experience guys were having who used his service versus those who didn't my opinion changed. Even with smartphone translators (which are far from perfect) a guide can be invaluable. In So Paulo, AltoBomGosto, is that guide. He is a long-time contributor to this forum, always with solid and specific advice.

Amazing, does he charge a fee or this service or should I treat him on a nice girl?

They are both there, but there are reports on local forum that mongers have been attacked by girls and their money and phones have been robbed by force at Rua dos Andradas, 69.

Try to learn some Portuguese words and phrases prior to getting to Brazil. It will at least show your trying. Overall Google Translate will not be a problem, it will be your friend.

You haven't said much about what you're looking for (there is a wide range). But here are some suggestions of women who will help you arrange this. There are, though, hundreds!!

Google translate works well enough. But try to learn some Portuguese. And not just transactional. These women are people too and the effort is appreciated. Also, you will find that many do speak basic English but don't want to admit it. Twitter is full of English speakers.

Really depends on your budget. No reason not to go with Casaro or Scandallo (very pricey). I would look for an English speaker and have her arrange your festinha. Have it at your hotel, a love motel, or the local of one of the girls. You can expect BRL400-500 per hour per girl for shorter terms. Longer is negotiable.

Thinking about trying airbnb or similar next trip to Sao Paulo. I am looking at "entire place to myself" options. I noticed some have "additional rules". I am narrowing down the list based on.

1) not considering anything with rules against visitors in room.

2) not considering anything with more than a couple of paragraphs of "additional rules" (just seems like a red flag to me).

3) not considering anything that says that they need a copy ID of guest and "companion" at least 24 hours in advance.

Any others I should throw out?

If they don't explicitly have rules against guests or pre authorization requirements, what are the odds Ill have trouble getting multiple different visitors in on different nights?

Any other Airbnb advice anyone can offer (especially Sao Paulo specific).
