My friend, you don't have anything to worry, the security of Bamboa will escort you to your hotel door for a small tip.
Any other advice PM me.

So I gather help / helpee no longer exists or is not in So Paulo? Never see it discussed.
Help Discotheque / Helpee has been closed since 2010 was a famous club in Rio. There was no equivalent to this establishment.
I is talked about extensively by older mongers in Rio de Janeiro Reports section.

Turns out my hotel is 300 m from Bomboa. Does the "never walk alone at night" advice apply here? Seems a very short stretch? Nice enough neighborhood? Advice please? Thanks.
IMHO: For the most part Sao Paulo is extremely safe, in your case you're talking about Pinheiros, which is relatively upscale by Brasil standards. I've walked the 30 minutes to Casarao from my flat in Bela Vista at 01:00 AM with no problems on several occasions. The only crime problem I've ever had in Sao Paulo was when I lived in the Rio Pequeno section the neighbourhood kids would steal my t-shirts off my clothesline after I left for work.

WhatsApp + Escort.
I read more than 100 of your pages about SP and I thank you guys.
Soon there for 10 days. Traveling on business, I will not have much time and I do not speak Portuguese at all.
Here is my strategy:
1) Book in a Mercure hotel (they all seem girl friendly).
2) send messages to escorts with WhatsApp to invite them to my hotel for 1 h or 1 h30.
What is your experience with the response rate on WhatsApp? (using an automatic translator if necessary).
What do you think of my strategy?

Help Helpee Bomboa Safety

The first thirty minutes after walking in were the craziest. You were checking all the girls out and seeing what was available. What a dopamine rush! I still experience that rush at the SP boates.

I expect that the relative cost / value of the food at Bomboa compared to Scandallo is similar to that of the garotas at both places, that is Bomboa is both a little cheaper and a little lower in quality but still good enough..

Might as well do the Moema rectangle at 3 p on a Friday. Prime, Miruna, Abbobora, then Enjoy. Abbobora's lineup didn't change much at all when I was in SP for over a month. Seemed like a third of the lineup was women in their early 30's. The lineup was better on Saturdays because of free lancers.
Great tip on the freelancers. Will definitely make sure to go Saturday.

I had a steak and a bottle of Malbec at Bomboa and it was perfectly fine tho not exceptional. I expect that the relative cost / value of the food at Bomboa compared to Scandallo is similar to that of the garotas at both places, that is Bomboa is both a little cheaper and a little lower in quality but still good enough. I'd kinda hoped I might be in Sampa in July but looks like my return trip has been delayed unti later in the year. Have fun and we await your reports.

Kamna had some very young garotas least time I went there.

And then on Friday PM I suppose I will try Abobora. Will the selection be good at 3 PM? (If not please recommend).

The Asian & sushi menu is excellent! The garotas love the dessert menu (but then I guess that's the case with all women).
