Depends how long you want to stay, if for one or two stay Ina hotel, for longer periods of time better consider AIRBNB.

If you choose the Hyatt because your office is near, OK.

But if you are here to play I would stay in MOEMA, were the majorities of the Clínicas are located.

    PM for details.

Get a hotel, I've had some really shitty Airbnbs in Sao Paulo. Plus factor in you're bringing a stranger into someone else's home and you'll be responsible for anything damaged or missing. Rented an Airbnb in Rio, took a garoto de programma there, she got drunk, tore the intercom phone to the doorman off the wall, clogged the toilet, puked in a walk in closet, and stole a ceramic bird decoration from a China cabinet. Cost me almost an extra US $ 1,150! The flat was only US $ 65 per night. I could of stayed in a fucking Hilton for that! Beware!

    Cafe Photo.

When I went, I didn't have to be concerned about a venue to go to in order to do the deed. There was a house car that took me and the girl to a nearby place called "The Kinky Hotel". I remember laughing as I saw the name of the place. The guy working the desk spoke great English (think he lived for a time in the States but don't recall exactly), and he was a bit of a hoot! Tried to charge me for condoms in the room, but I told him I had my own, so no charge. The room was nice, and the only problem I remember was that it took the shower way to long to produce any hot water. But once it got going, it was fine. When we were done, the driver took us back to the club. His services were gratis. Maybe Cafe Photo and The Kinky Hotel are no longer affiliated? Or, is the hotel still in business? I don't know. But, that's how it worked when I patronized Cafe Photo. There was no need to worry about where to go to have sex with an attractive, Brazilian girl found at Cafe Photo!

Was banned from Scandalo for smoking a joint in the john. Came back the next week used my driver's license for my documento instead of my passport which the ban was registered under. Fucking idiots!

How is Cafe Millennium, cafe photo? Ideally, looking for a place with room to bang.
I have written a pretty detailed comparison of Scandalo, Bomboa and photo within the last 2 years of my postings. View member posts is a helpful action.

I liked Bomboa a lot. I thought it a slightly down market version of Scandallos. The girls asked 600 not 800. I think the rooms 120 instead of 200 at scandallos. Food and drinks were also cheaper but just as good. I had a nice steak dinner and a lovely mulata for desert. She even let me finger her while I was drinking my coffee. I also liked the live band and the overall vibe was more relaxed. I'the definitely return on my next trip.

Clinica Line-ups. I understand there is a lineup presentation at the clinicas. At which point do we discuss which services are offered / not offered and who do I discuss it with (CIM, GFE, Rimjob or as I believe they call it black kiss, etc.). I assumed it's the girls themselves, and not receptionist. I will be using google translate for a lot of the interactions but I really have no choice at this point. And if anyone knows any rimjob / black kiss specialists in the area I'd love some recommendations. I'm staying in Moema.

Currency exchange. I'm debating whether to bring USD and exchange at an exchange place or just withdrawal from my ATM card. My bank charges $5 fee and 3%. Not sure what anyone else does that's not a local?

Thanks for any and all help.

There is a Disk Dolar cambio near Shopping Ibirapuera that some regulars use when they visit Moema. They give the current market exchange rate that you see when you google USDBRL. That is the best bet if you have cash, and don't have a fee free ATM card.

As I noted, I am in Moema, but I cannot contact you as your account does not have messaging.

I personally had problems with the ATMs in Brazil and ended up using the cash I brought instead. It was a new Chase account but it's epdefiantely harder to get large amounts of currency out of those ATMs. Have a backup..
Please PM me, I'll be glad to help you.

Use ATMs. But not all of them work with foreign cards. Last month I had success with most although some ATMs didn't work. Even at Bradesco I once had to try a couple of machines to get one that worked. Last time I tried to exchange USD it took 10 minutes at Shopping Morumbi and required forms being filled etc and the rate sucked.

The best info I can give you now is:

    A) Get a Schwab checking account, and be sure to call them and let them know you will be out of the country. Why? Schwab doesn't charge foreign transaction fees and will refund the ATM fees at the END of the billing cycle. They do need to hear from you if you are using your card abroad, unlike some banks.

Now that is the easy part.

    B) Not every ATM in Brazil takes overseas debit cards. Which will is not always obvious as it not consistent. In my recent experience (this month) certain branches of Bradesco and Santander will take foreign debit cards and some will not. Here is the sign you should see outside of SOME Santander branches but not all (see photo). Imagine my sense of panic when the local Itau branch wouldn't take my Chase or Schwab debit cards. Fortunately, the Bradesco branch up the street did. I tried different places after that, just to see which ATMs would take my debit cards and had mixed results. I did not know that this would be a problem. I never encountered this in Europe or Asia (though I do recall an issue in Medellin a few years back). The Santander branch closest to my AirBnb rental did not, but around the corner on Av. Paulista, the closest branch did (which is where I took the photo.) Also, Rovnak showed me a sticker on certain ATMs that will take foreign debit cards at Santander branches, but I can't recall the verbiage on them (Rovnak if you are reading this, please scratch my memory).

Short story long, you won't be able to get money from the nearest ATM at every hour of the day. So, don't run short on cash to avoid cash problems at the wrong time. And no, currency exchanges are not that common in Brazil now.

The good news: debit and credit cards are taken just about everywhere. Some places scoff seem to have trouble making change and don't seem to have an issue with taking cards for small transactions. I tried to buy a bottle of water with a $R20 bill at a convenience store and the lady at the counter couldn't make change, but was happy to take payment with a credit card.

This is the opposite of Colombia, where card transactions are inconveniences imposed gringos, and the whole process of using a card is very slow. In Bogota last September, Colombians were paying cash everywhere for everything. Using a credit card at the places that took them sometimes got me odd looks.

Also note that many GPS now take credit cards, and prives do, as well. Just remember that a higher rate for using credit cards will apply. I paid are are $20 more at Enjoy for using my card (billed discretely to Car services Sao Paulo for $69.80 USD.

Also note that some girls do not take credit or debit cards. And they don't always have change (or they will claim they don't), so always have exact change for cash transactions with GPS. Actually, you should do that with all working girls anywhere, in the first place. I had two different GPS acquire a modest tip by claiming they didn't have change. Well, that is what they said.
