Nice trip reports. Just wanted to touch on a couple of things from your Moema report.

First, the street markets. Here is a website that shows all of the markets in the city and when they are open:

You mentioned cheap churrascaria at the mall. Most likely it is Mania as they are cheap and in every mall. They are cheap because they buy their meat from slaughter houses that have been fined for poor hygiene. The last time I ate at one there was a worm in my steak. Consider yourself lucky. Everyone else, you have been forewarned.

I wanted to share my thoughts about this area of town.

I stayed on the opposite side of Ave. Ibirapuera from the upscale shopping center. No action here, plenty of eateries, shops, one bank, open farmers type market on Bem Te-Vi which was open Wed but not all days of the week. So if anyone knows their days open please share. For extended stays I like to buy some fruit for the house. All the action in this area is behind the Shopping Center Ibirapuera. Next time I would stay here as to be within easy walking distance of all the offerings in the area. I still walked from my spot to all these places but during those heavy rain showers it would have been nice to be closer to home. A poncho or umbrella is necessary this time of year, Jan, due to the spring like showers that pop up in the afternoons. That can be intense. Blew the power out of my block for a time one day.

The big park Ibirapuera is worth a look. Near gate 4 is the bike rental facilities, need ID and the rate per hour is cheap. Go to the green tents. Must return bikes here. There are yellow bikes I saw for use like most city's are providing. Need a app, I suppose. I mostly walked.

Metro is easy and 2 stations, Line 5 for the area, Moema and Eucaliptos, they are new stations but be careful of the maps you consult as some do not show the line connecting to other lines. It does at Santa Cruz over to Line 1 and at Chcara Klabin over to Line 2. There are multiple types of transit cards to purchase at the ticket booth. I did not know the differences between them so just accepted the card the attendant gave me. The cards are positioned on the glass of the booth for you to scan over.

Lots of food choices in the area and a good live music club Bourbon Street. I did not get to visit but everyone I asked spoke highly about it. If you want quality churiscurria and budget price go to the food court at the mall. Across from the taco bell (yes they have one), is a nice setup. You pay by the weight, get the card with number so you can get several plates, weighing each one. It all gets added and you give the card to the waiter to bring you the bill. I had 3 meals here and loved each one.

The airport noise is not as bad it sounds. They quit operation near midnight I think or it slows down a bit so I never noticed during sleeping hours. It picks back up around 6 am, I think, I'm usually still out.

P.S., this should be my last entry in this thread, fly out tomorrow. I do recommend visiting SP, lots of variety of places to enjoy the game, quality food and entertainment. Curious thing, never ran across a movie cinema. Good public transportation, quality lodging for all budgets and most of all the service of the ladies is world class. All of course, IMHO.

Wait, are you saying they actually ask to see your passport? That seems like terrible form for any club. And why would local businessmen give up their CPF's when the point is to get away from their wives as discreetly as possible?

Yes, they ask for ID, my buddy had brought a photocopy of his passport. I had none with me, so they asked for CC but I only carry cash. Finally the girl let me just tell her my name. I do not know if this is allowed all the time with all the check-in personnel. I might just have been lucky due to it being a slow night and with a buddy. Did not want to lose 2 clients over ID. But again I would bring it next time to avoid the hassle but each to their own.

Another note on these 2 nightclubs, Scandalous and Bahamas, the girls are not allowed to bring cell phones out onto the floors. So they are concentrated more on showing you their wares and getting down to business, like the old days. Ha ha, some of you know what I mean.

I've had similar surprises at "elite" clubs all around the world. For example at Bomboa I've found some pretty girls but I've also had plain women over 40 sit down with me without being invited, pester me for tips, that kind of thing. I don't get the point of having them in the club, as they are just blocking the legitimate business of the nubile women.

Thanks GF for the Bahamas review. I was tempted to try but I only had 1 night in SP proper and didn't want to risk a fail -- so I stuck w Sandalo and Casarao. But it sounds like a viable option, with an experience part to it which I like.

Unless Thifany and I are still a thing next time I visit (in which case she is traveling with me) I will be checking out Bahamas.

Another low-cost night club will be Muchachos Club, near Largo 13 in Santo Amaro. For 100 reais you get a nice service for half hour, girls are in a range to 5 / 6 but sometimes you can find real gems there!

Can't remember the entrance fee but must be not above 30 reais.

I went by car but you can go by metro, Google the address and find out. It's on the new Santo Amaro line.

This place is king of chica clubs from all my travels so far. Feels more like a resort with the largest check-in counter I have seen, maybe on par with Las Vegas hotel / casinos. Ground floor is parking lot and entrance to check-in counter. They require ID for the card that keeps track of your purchases. R250 for entry and some for consumable, there were other options for entry. Go to elevator, up one floor to club. Main room has stage, bar and lots of seating, felt like strip club atmosphere. Upstairs has seating as well but no one up there.

Slow night I was told. Ratio 1:1 girls, guys and must of been the "B" team as I only saw one 9 in the whole lot. Maybe 70 or so girls. Many stated to me it was slow due to the holiday weekend. I would rate most girls 7's with only a few standouts and many below that. I was surprised to see any fuglies inside a club of this caliber but there were several. Cool and relaxing outside seating area, bar was closed there. Restaurant looks very upscale, hell the whole place is upscale. I can't fault them for the high entry fee as the quality of the place is superb.

Beers were R35, not sure about chica drinks as I did not purchase any. Girls were asking R600 to R800, for hour action in house. Rooms in house were R250, so right off the bat with entry, chica, room your over R1000 for hour service. Never went up so don't know about the rooms but I do not doubt they are quality ones.

My conclusion would be, if only here for a few nights to a week and have the money to splurge then enjoy a blowout, you should have a good time. I have to budget my fun money as it must last for trips of a month or more. Even with my budget travel, I felt it worth it to pay the entry and enjoy the place like you would a strip club back in the states. I had a connection with the only 9 for me called Luna, be warned, its very hard to walk away from some of these girls without partaking. I could have broke my bank for her and enjoyed every second of it. But the bigger head won the day, but just barely.

GF great report, I also never went to the bedrooms because every time I went there I was a wingman to a visitor. Your report is very accurate, I only wanted to add a little note informing Scandallo has a happy hour until 7 PM were the entrance costs 150 reais totally consumable. There is a fine restaurant on premises. I have had excellent meals there.

I usually use the time my gest is seasoning to chat with the girls.

Visited Saturday around 11 pm then went to Scandalous, returned Sunday at 4 pm. Holiday weekend.

Entrance fee only was R110, they had other options more expensive with consumable included. I did not plan to stay long either time so went with just the cover charge option. They give you a wrist thing with number on it to keep track of your purchases. Much like the FKKs.

Its more spacious and upscale than Chanes 57 but with about 15 girls Saturday night and maybe 8 Sunday afternoon. Two of the girls Sunday I also saw at Chanes 57 during the week. I had sessioned with one of them. The entry people said I could leave and return same day without charge. Good option if you wanted to see the day and night shift of girls. As far as I know this is the only 24 HR chica place in town which includes Sunday. The setup is part spa, part lounge, part chica bar and rooms. Its not loud and has good lighting so you can see all the ladies clearly. It is right up my alley, slower pace, decent surroundings, medium selection of girls (small for alot of you), I could see again about 5 doable ladies for me before I took 2 sips of my beer. A couple of Venezuelans, so Spanish speaking and a couple of decent English speaking ladies in the mix as well. They have food, cigars, well stocked bar and pool table. Downstairs they have a sauna, steam baths. Use to have pool but now a fish pond. Locker rooms to change in with towels and several poker tables. Not sure if they are in use anymore. The main room has lots of seating, sofas, tables and a pool table.

Everyone really friendly. Went with a ISG buddy to check out Saturday night. We wanted to also see Scandalous so we shot a game of pool and a few beers and then left for the other club. I was enamored with a natural redhead named Flavia. Funny because we both pegged her for a Russian / Ukrainian girl. She is full Brazilian and speaks the best English I have yet heard here. I have fantasized about a natural redhead my whole life so wanted to secure a date with her so arranged to be first her next work day. Which was Sunday and since it seems its slow already due to the Holiday weekend and a Sunday, I set a time of 4 pm which is when she starts. Great report and captures the key ideas — it is very luxe and it's really about the club EXPERIENCE as much as the girls themselves. I was lucky to find my 9 quite quickly.

To complete the picture, the rooms are very nice but not as luxe say as Felina Barcelona or Penthouse Moscow. The best feature though is the little revolving bank door. You can call down and order drinks and they deliver them while you are suitably engaged. It adds to the King of the World feeling.

Went today, Saturday, holiday weekend, local one (city birthday) not a national one. 2 pm and pretty dead. This holiday weekend is affecting some of the action. So check those holidays guys before you book your trip.

Arrived and only 5 girls present. As I left 2 more showed up. More guys than girls, most of the fellas just hanging out. Bought beer across the street. The guy even delivered some himself.

Picked one for a 30 min session before they all got ravaged. Cost R100. The hostess is very friendly and speaks some English. Rooms all budget basic setup. Bed, shower and air. Clean enough, I'v done it in far worse places.

Stopped by Chanes 57 also but was closed.
