I do a lot of reading and I jumped into a Sao Paolo thread after first reading several Mexican and Colombian threads, as well as Panama, Ecuador, and smaller countries. What's difficult for me is to conceptualize the general "spirit" of the places without first being there (for example, it's a huge effort for me to even think about warm clothes if traveling from +20 c to +5 c, or from 0 c to +25 c. I've traveled much, I know what those temperature ranges feel like, but it's still very difficult to pack a warm coat when I don't feel like it).

So a senior member's perspective is invaluable because someone who has been to Mexico, Columbia, Buenos Aires, and Sao Paulo could very easily just "get" what I am looking for and "know" if it's here or not. Kinda like asking a tribe's elder for advice.

Yes I am reading through that comment string. Basically I've already made a decision to go to SP (thanks for all the responses! I got my tickets and visa, I'll be there around the New Year so I have that time to read through and prepare.

Also if you are going to be in SP around that time, I'd love to treat you to lunch / coffee / anything non-alcoholic.

As for Moema and Jardins, - I am very interested in the clinicas, not so much in the clubs. I understand there are many clinicas in Moema area, would that be best? I also found a hotel near Paraiso subway. Is that area much worse for walking and mongering? I'd hate to feel like I'm stuck in my hotel.
Paraiso is okay, but if it's not mentioned it's likely not a ideal location. Read the comment string I cited first. It was a very good (sometimes heated LOL) exchange that covers the things to think about when choosing a SP location.

While Jardim Paulista (in Jardins) might be hotel-centric with higher rates and Moema (many clinicas) has few hotel options, AirBnB makes all these neighborhoods available at reasonable rates. Uber and the subways bring these places closer so you can stay in one and easily visit another. A member recently discussed Itaim Bibi which is an area with plenty of restaurants and nightlife.

Buts nothing wrong with the rea, you can go by metro till Ana Rosa station there you are close to Red Way, Yankin and Tangara. You can also comute to the Green Line and get down at Consolao, rua Augusta is in a walking distance. If you want to go to Moema just take the Green Line towards Vila Prudente, get down at Chcara Klabin and comute to the new line to Moema and Brooklin. Fell free to pm me if you need more information.

It's like I always say. If you're fucking lots of girls in the ass, then you're going to have to take some shit every once and a while. It's called a "[CodeWord116] chute" for a reason! Haha!

That is key. And If you're going to walk around where there aren't a lot of people, do it during the day.

This is common sense in any big city.

Remember you aren't as much of a target as you feel you are. They see tourists every day. There are millions of middle class Paulistas. They are as concerned about their safety as you do about yours. Outside of a 1 km radius from my place I took Uber everywhere but felt totally comfortable walking around even late in the evening in Itami Bibi. One day I walked from the Hilton to clinica Brooklin for exercise but I'm not sure I'd do it at night. It's not a particularly bad area but there weren't a lot of others around.

Was at Tangara last Saturday night 12/15/18. Fucked Isadora in the ass, when I pulled out my dick I had a turd on it big enough to fill the condom when if I pulled it off and tied it off. You pay your money and you take your chances. But then what do you expect for BRL $100/ hora?

Scandallo is bigger than La Isla and it definitely has more eye candy.

I checked Cafe Photo, and picked up a cutie from there, actually I ended up picking her friend as well for a 3-some. I found Cafe Photo a bit more formal and more stuffy. I much prefer Scandallo. I have yet to check out Bomboa and Casarấo.

You can certainly walk around alone in the nicer areas where visitors typically stay Jardins, Itaim Bibi and Moema. There was a discussion thread a few months back regarding best neighborhoods to stay and walking (comment #8871-8902). Linha 5 (Line) through Moema on the Metro is now connected to the Blue (1) and Green (2) lines so that is now academic.

I'm kind of cautious in Brazil. I don't walk around after sunset and uber door-to-door. It's also smart to walk where there are many people.

Also to other Sampa visitors, is that city safe to walk alone in? Or rather, what parts of town would be safe for that (as in, walk a few blocks to a fruit market and coffee).

Let me try and answer your question this way, since SHOW always beats TELL.

Check out this twitter feed from this sommelier of busceta:

    https://mobile.twitter.com/AndarilhoGPGUIA?lang=en

If you find girls like this attractive, then what I can tell you after being in Brazil for 2 weeks is this is REALLY THEM, you will find this quality at Scandallos, and I assume (but didn't have time to check out) also the "freegirls" that Rovnik mentions.

I only went to Fase Dos and Luna Lunera when I was in MDE, so can't compare but after 10 days, I got tired of the paisa look, as hot as it was initially. I haven't been to LDV, or Vive in Madrid, (next on my list). I was going to say that Scandallos seemed less 'sharky' to me but how the fuck should I know if I haven't been there. All nightclub set ups with hot girls will tend to breed sharks, but no worse than other scenes I've been in. Thermas are only in Rio & are more like FKK.

A lot depends on the style that gets you off. I like to zero in on a target over an hour or so. I like the expensive dresses, shoes, makeup etc.

So is it more of a scene like LVD in Cartagena where it's a regular club? What about at the Termas? I do like the Fase Dos setup where you can actually look at the women without clothes on (or in a bikini) to really see what's underneath the clothes.

The point on diversity is great. That sounds amazing to have that kind of diversity on hand. I don't know that there's a place in the world that features the diversity you just outlined. That in itself is a reason to visit!
