Well I'm back here in sex prison after having spent around 90 days in sex paradise. As I stated in an earlier post I banged about 70 girls during my stay. However, I must add that even those who did not give me all I wanted had great attitudes. For me that's what makes Brazil such a great destination for our hobby; the girls are all very pleasant and none had that sort of foul attitude that could ruin the mood and impede an erection. In the clinicas time is set by the ringing of the phone in the room and being short timed is unheard of; in fact if you haven't released by the time the phone rings the girls allow you more time to seek completion. As far as being a location for the retirement of a monger is concerned Brazil is unbeatable. For me the mongering in Brazil is far better than in any Asian country. Reasonable accomodation can be found and the food is good. If you shop smart you can get good prices for groceries and food. Asia, however, gains points over Brazil as far as safety is concerned, although I must say that I never found myself in any risky situations even during carnival.

I can't comment on Brazil specifically but for all my worldwide "entertainment" I've found the ATM (at a real bank) to be your best deal. What I do is have a separate online bank acct that siphons off $250 every two weeks from our joint checking account. And I use that ATM card for entertainment.

A couple caveats. One, there is a daily limit so plan carefully. Two, some ATMs will ask if I want to take the money in local currency or have dollars converted. Important. Take the local currency option. This means the bank in the US will do the conversion at a great rate. Much better than currency exchanges. But if you take the $$ option the local bank hits you with a very bad rate.

So just watch those two points and ATM is the way to go.

Steve, this is always the first (and good) advice to give. Get an ATM card with so many waived ATM fees per month and no foreign exchange transaction fees. This is also a good idea to get a credit card with no foreign exchange transaction fees (they add up on charges). It's more convenient than finding a cambio with fair rates and no transaction fee. I'm not sure why people quibble with this basic recommendation which you find on travel sites.

There are definitely exceptions to this recommendation.

1) I feel more comfortable having cash on hand when I travel. I don't want to deal with the hassle of getting a card re-issued if there is fraud.

2) I have a cash business and I party like a rock star on my cash when I travel.

3) The country in question has a currency black market (Cuba) or some kind of controlled parallel currency market (Brazil in the 80's / early 90's). Thirty years ago, there were far more countries where large black markets for currency. Sensibly, the local hookers always wanted Dollars.

It's unlikely that you're going to get discounts for offering cash Dollars. That's kind of a gringo idea that everyone wants Dollars. As I mentioned, that was Brazil twenty-five years ago in the hyperinflation days. No doubt there is a lot of credit card fraud in Latin America, but I can't get past the convenience of using the cards.

I have heard of Cafe Photo, Scandallo, Bamboa 222, ect these high end boate for a long time. But never take the time to check them out until my last trip to Sao Paulo. I decided to take a look at these luxury boates.

Scandallo location is quite far to the east of the city near Ipiranga. If you go from Jardin or Paulista is really a long taxi drive. All the taxi drivers know this place. I think this place must have quite a lot of foreign customers, there are several clerks that speak good English. They explained to me the system. There is entrance fee of 220, and this includes food and drinks, not sure how much is included, I did not get what they said. Then there is the short time room available, cost is 200 for an hour.

I think I arrived maybe too early, only me and 3 other customers. This place was dark compared to cafe Photo. There were about 30 girls at early time, but later more came in, and around 11, lots of customers suddenly poured in and was quite crowded. I could not really see well the faces of the girls, so I walked around and came closer to the girls. Many of them were quite pretty and I found a few my slender type. I narrowed it down to 2 and started my interview. First girl, very basic English, slim body, no baby, young, morena, Italian descent, asked me 600, but after bargain, willing to go at 500. The good thing about this place is that more nice girls concentrated in one place, so don't need to hop around different boates, and the convenience of room upstairs. I guess these elements could justify the entrance fee. The girls here are flexible in price, remember you can bargain. I will come check this place again next trip.

Around 2010 all the big clubs (except Photo) were closed by the city, they all reopened eventually but after restructuring their establishments such that the bar and the motel sections are separate legal entities.

Wasn't there a guy trying to open or expand a "fuck farm" in the Sao Paulo countryside? I seem to remember the story that he wanted to make a premier resort destination for the game. The authorities put an end to his plans.

I was aware of one place years ago, but it was quite small.

Actually many countries, including Brazil, that legalize or decriminalize prostitution only allow the prostitute to benefit from her services. Brothels are illegal. The government, police and community look the other way because they are either getting paid or are customers.

Went to Enjoy today. Something has gone awfully wrong here. I have avoided sessioning here in my last four visits. As a matter of fact the lineup has deteriorated seriously since the last few weeks.
