Does anyone know if clinics or Scandallo will be open on Oct 11,12 and 13? I was told the 12 is a big holiday and everything closes and people take Friday off for a long weekend so not sure if there will be any places avopen or have talent on the Wednesday night before the holiday, Thursday and or Friday? Thanks for the feeback on my SP questions. I decided to "import" (or export I guess) one of my amigas coloridas from Rio for Saturday night / Sunday. Besides eat at good restaurants and smoke a cigar? I'd suggest the jockey club. The ponies are still running. Sunday on Paulista has a good crowd if you want to people watch while listening to competing musicians and navigating sidewalk vendors. Maybe you'll see quadriplegic Elvis. This is the spot for getting your Zumba on in public. JK Iguatemi mall is a good place to take on a matinee. VIP seats recline and there is food and drink service. Sadly, much of Paulista life seems to take place in shopping centers. There are card rooms if you want to play poker. You can also find microbreweries around. For other entertainment check guiadesemana website for your dates.

I see Fefao posting on FB and it looks like there are 1-2 hotties there, but it could just be his marketing. I did a RTTF search and outside of ABG's mentions, haven't seen any info. When I went there several months ago at opening, it was kind of a disaster. Just curious.

Also, anyone got a good idea on what to do during a day in SP for non-GDP activities? Besides museums (ugh) and parks (ugh)? I may have to pass a weekend there and was just wondering if there's actually anything cool to do besides go to the usual clinicas .... I went with a friend last night and we got there at 11 pm. We went upstairs and the girl to guy ratio was literally 0-to-15. The guys were just sitting around playing pool and chatting with each other. Fefao looked half dead from all the excitement in the boate. Ha. We walked around for about 3 minutes and then went downstairs and asked Julia the receptionist if there were any girls. She said that they all had already left. The list had all names crossed out and it had about 12 girls on it. This place seems to be a total joke.

As for things to do during the day. Stay inside as it seems to rain every damn day! Ha. Maybe someone else here can chime in on what there is to do during the day here if you don't work. The only thing that I can think of is go to the mall and stare at or creep on young nubile girls walking around.

It has split pricing model now, before 9 its like Mirunas / Enjoy pricing. After 9 its more. Not sure exactly, maybe just no gpguia discount after 9, best to call them.

On the plus side, there is no entrada or minimum to sit upstairs in bar area. You can sit and chat and eat or drink or not.

Have not been enuf to see any pattern to lineups, range from 6 to 18 girls probalby depending on day. Gpguia reports suggest it has some traction, seems popular with locals who like to hang out, play pool, drink, maybe session. Good option if you are with wingman and want to hang out at quieter place than casarao.

Made a short business trip to Rio (1 day) and Sao Paulo (2 days):

Based on reading the forum, I went to Tangara (R. Tangara 200) and Miruna (R. Mirina 644) and here are my observations (recognize others may have differing views):

Tangara:

30 minutes: R100 // 1 HR: 150.

At least 20 girls must have been there at 8 pm, which is when I went.

Hostess: 2 really sweet hostesses (one is Susan made a very conscious effort to make me feel comfortable and tried speaking some English, given I speak no Portuguese).

Ambience: really easy going place; nice courtyard outside the visitor room to grab a smoke or two and chat up with the girls and other hobbyists.

Line up: Very nice diversity which I like to see. All the girls were very easy going and relaxed.

Session: Had an hour with Jennifer (tall, black long hair with a hot body). She was frankly awesome. Great technique (amazing BBBJ). Was up for almost anything. I blew my nut in 30 minutes itself but she wasn't hurried or wanting to run out. Tried some of my broken Spanish with her and learnt some basic Portuguese. Great fun.

So in all, I loved both the places. For the value buyer, you cannot beat Tangara. Period. For the one willing to spend a bit more, do try Miruna.

Didn't get a chance to session in Rio this time. But as I leave SP, looking forward to making another trip soon.

P.S: as a side note, the weather sucked. Rained all 3 days I was here. But never dampened the spirit of the Brazilian traveler!
