That is what you just wrote in December. Have you actually visited Sao Paulo yet? If not, why do you come onto the SP sub and claim that RJ is better when you have no personal knowledge? You are not doing any potential future visitors any favors spreading misinformation. Mongering is neither more expensive or less expensive in either city. Both have their low, mid and high end places. Sao Paulo just has more of all of them.

I wrote this report before going to Sao Paulo, I was in Sao Paulo for one weeks now I can say I prefer Rio over Sao Paulo (that's my experience) we are all different maybe because I don't know Sao Paulo as well as Rio de Janeiro I am back in Rio.

Well you just described the difference be / t a clinica / prive and a boate, those are the normal differences. Nothing specific to Tangara. Actually, with all due respect, it was your fault for not interviewing the girl more if you have strict requirements. Tangara is extremely accommodating in allowing the girls to sit with you and converse a bit before committing, you just have to ask Takuma or the other coordinator. So, yes, like any other clinica there is a lineup. But there is plenty of opportunity to conduct an interview, just ask. And the coordinators generally know which girls do anal etc, that is part of their job.

As for Casarao and 4 x 4, actually, I would argue there is more variety in Casarao. SP has girls from all over Brasil, all body types. There are easily up to 100 girls in Casarao, where as 4 x 4 has about 50 these days and they are mostly cariocas. Which is a point in their favor for those that like cariocas. But the comparison of Casarao to Help is a good one, though Casarao has rooms on premise and Help did not.

Casarao has more variety than 4 x 4, not hardly!

Typical night at Casarao is usually pretty lilly white. An occasional mulata or two or three or four or five or six, on a busy night. Next you'll find an occasional Nippon-Brasiliera mixed in with a few indigenous Brasilieras. If you find a straight up Black chick she'll be from Rio, Bahia, Nordeste or Espiritu Santo. Never seen more than 10 straight up Black chicks there at the same time. Lots of southern Brasilieras from Florianopolis, Porto Alegre, (sexy smoking hot German & Italian stock) and from the interior of Brasil (if this is what you mean by more variety, yes then maybe). Additionally, Casarao is becoming the spot for college girls and single moms who need to pull together their rent money and school tuition. Typically these are one trick ponies who you'll never see on the regular. But has been my experience that they are the ones to go after as they are not as jaded, desperate, and gold digging as the seasoned pros. If you're lucky you can get there their number and actually have a "real" date with them sometime. Been there, done that (Note: this would require at least an intermediate working knowledge of Portuguese). Also, unlike like the good ole' days in Rio, these chicks will not pose for fotos. Makes it difficult to supplement your data with hard evidence or identify the duds.

One night I counted 123 girls and 200+ guys. Keep reminding myself to swing by the Judicial Federal Registro and look in the fire codes for what the total capacity is for Casarao. Figure does not include the smoker's lounge as I hate cigarette smoke, only time I go in there is if I want to fire up a joint. Both bars were open upstairs and the stairs in the back to downstairs was open allowing lots of room to circulate. Found my regular Rebekka (pronounced: he-Bekka). Got upstairs waited approx. 10-15 minutes for a room, there were maybe 20 couples in queue as the entire lobby was full to standing room only. Which made me think room assignment was based on if you had a quarenta minutos ou uma hora as we leapfrogged others who were there before us (did a uma hora GFE / completa are $290).

IMHO: Tangara is a total waste of time. The variety there is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get. The talent and selection is totally inconsistent on a daily basis. If you're lucky you might find something you like who'll be there on the regular. Lots of girls from other parts of South America, you don't really find that as Casarao. As far as that chick not doing anal, did not mention that she did the first I took her. It was the second time she did not.

Case in point, had sessions with Cintia a rack of times last year. Chick loved anal and could make you cum by doing Kegels with her pussy. Also could suck the chrome off a trailer hitch. Have not seen her since last NOV. Also, feel that Rio is not a good choice anymore in terms of personal safety / security. Was there for the Olympics, would have felt much more safer if I had been strapped. Hoods, pickpockets, bums, thieves, and thugs galore.

Rio IMHO these days puts the "G" in ghetto! In SP you might spend a little more time getting from Point A to Point be, but you can do it without getting robbed or having to deal with ripoff non-metered cabbies. It takes me 20 minutes to walk from my flat to Casarao, will often do so at 01:00 or 02:00 in the AM. Done this several times, perfectly safe no worries. Also, with Casarao if the wait is too long, I usually bring them back to my flat for a todo o noite. You actually get more bang for your real this way.

Rio is much better to monger and easier (this is my personal opinion).

You can only go to a district and find many places in the same area unlike Sao Paulo you always have to travel from a place to another place to see what's available.

You can find many good places in Rio de Janeiro if you check the Rio forum you can see some information.

Price is less expensive than Sao Paulo, it depends where.

You can also find good prives in Rio de Janeiro especially in Barra the tijuka, there are many places in Rio where you can relax and talk to the girl before fucking.

I went to Casarao American Bar one time, but did not return. The reason was because of all of those women in there with the booty on duty, I only saw one who I was attracted to! My opinion of the facilities at Casarao: There are maybe 30 rooms, each with shower, queen size bed, mirrored walls, very clean, and the staff is very efficient. Anal, no problem, you have ample time to interview if they do or don't before you go upstairs. Downside, on a busy weekend there can be a very long wait. Think Milo's brothel in Catch- 22.

IMHO: Balneario can be a bit of a crap shoot, as it's a serious Brasiliero hangout, novice gringos are apt to hook up with a passer through chick not from Sao Paulo who is just looking for a fast real and will try to rip you off once you get back to the room. Last time I was there it was about 95 degrees outside and the fan didn't work in the room. She refused to do anal, after agreeing to on the floor. Thinking she could tell from my accent that I a gringo. No problem, informed the manager, he comped my bar tab (r $90). Think she got fired, never saw her there again. Actually, in Tangara some of the girls do hang out in the lounge area and you could go talk to them. In any case, at any clinica (or Rio prive) you can have the girl you like chat with you before you go to the room to see if she does what you want her to do in a session.

At Tangara you can always walk over to where the girls lounge and talk to them, or tell the manager you want a girl who does anal, or whatever, and they will tell you. But if you see a girl you like, be sure to pull her aside and talk to her first. Some of the girls who are open to anal might need to get ready for you before going to the room.

You come in, the girls come out, introduce themselves parade style in a single file line and go back to their waiting area. You have approx. 5 - 10 seconds to check them out and they won't return until the next guy comes in. WTF? It's like an Orthodox Jewish religious ceremony where the men are kept separate from the women. If you see something you like and you don't select them after the first "drive by," you have to get the manager's attention to get the girl to come back again.

There's no time to interview, all that has to take place after you've selected them. So theoretically, you can't get an idea of what she will or will not do until you've already taken her back to the room. The last time I was there I got majorly pissed because the girl didn't do anal, and I didn't find out until it was too late. For that reason I've never been back. Been frequenting Casarao, IMHO Casarao is Helpee Lite, it does not have the variety you'd been accustomed to if you've ever been to a terma, 4 x 4 for example. Butt all things considered, it will do. I am living in SP now. I know all the pro places. I know some girls looking to free lance at bars where they can meet gringos in particular, sort of like Emporium in Ipanema, I suppose. From what I have understood thus far, Tangara and Scandolo are the pick up joints with clinicas complimenting the mongering scene but I could be wrong.

I did not specifically compare clinica management to 4 x 4. I said the clinical management in SP is night and day compared to putaria management in Rio. And I stand by that. The clinicas in SP are clean, well run, and they invest in infrastructure. They offer poster discounts and some offer frequent visitor cards with half price bonus after so many visits. When it comes to ensuring better service, I refer to the fact that the higher end places in SP the management actively solicit customer satisfaction feedback and pay attention to what regular customers say. In SP you find that the regular clinica visitors are treated like club members. They lounge in the reception areas which are full of couches, have drinks, chat and treat it like a clubhouse. You do not see that in the Rio scene which is more like fast food service. I am pretty confident that this attention to detail and customer focus translates into higher customer satisfaction. Poorly reviewed girls are asked to leave. In my experience in Rio, I never saw this kind of situation. I know girls that work in Rio and in SP. The stories I hear from them regarding the different management styles are very telling. I do not mean to say that SP "ensures" better service each and every time, I am talking averages.

I agree with everything Rovnak said about SP clinicas. I think the Rio clinicas suck as far as environment or setup is concerned. They are located in office buildings and the waiting areas are very crammed. Even the larger clinicas like Bel Prazer only have one bench in the waiting area. None have sofas where you can chill and use their WIFI to wait for another lineup. Instead, you have to pick somebody or leave. Alternatively, you can come back later to try to see another presentation but that's a hassle having to walk around Centro just to kill some time. In SP, you can hang out on the couches for a couple of hours and eventually see the whole lineup circulate through via the girls presenting themselves to other customers. Also, all the girls in the Rio clinicas nowadays wear the same thing. Tight white t-shirt and white leggings. At least this is the case in the larger clinicas. It makes it feel even more "clinical", like a doctor's visit. Ha.
