Hey, it's not half bad. I live in Venezuela, have all my life, in Caracas. I can even give you an Italian cousin's view. Thing is, the bad people and what they do is what gets on the news. But trust me. It's not like verybody who goes for a walk gets mugged. But then again, you don't want to look very expensive either. Just giving an insiders view. Beware of the beer. People here drink it like water, specially around the days 30 and 15

Sure it's not bad. I was several times now there and always we enjoyed our stays a lot.
Unfortunately there is this security issue and it's not recommendable to walk on the streets in the evening.

And again - from all places we found out, I think that Angelo's has the best price/quality relation.

Sorry to hear that you must go there. But a free trip, I guess that is not so bad.

I like Angelus also, but to say the prices are quite OK is nuts ... unless you enjoy paying lots of money for an HOUR.

Look, all together it is about EUR 100.- to 120.- (depends how you change). This for me is QUITE OK. Not cheap but neither expensive.

I like talking and flirting with the chicas and getting their private phone numbers for dates later. Much better pricing.

I like that too! But when I'm out with business partners I prefer that the fun happens in the club.
For many reasons, especially sometimes happened that some chicas tried to take some things of the hotel room of a client and I don't want to help out at 5 a.m. when next day is a working day.

1 hour normally should be: 150.000 Boliviars for the house and between 200.000 to 300.000 to the girl, depends how you talk to her.

Most are open 7 days a week except during major holidays. There are fewer girls on Sundays, but even fewer guys.

Are any of the strip clubs open on Sunday? I will only be in town Sunday night and would like to visit a club. If that is not an option, I will make other arrangements.

Sorry about not responding to your message about the Caracas list back in January. I haven’t been on this site for a long time. Your list is excellent and includes a lot of places that I’m not familiar with. I don’t know if you’re still maintaining the list (looks like you are off Caracas) but here are a few updates:

12:34 is in Las Mercedes
A.M. is one block west of CC Sambil
These offer safe environments for newbies. Older guys will prefer A.M.

The Box and Fenecia are actually after-hours clubs. The Diplomat on Ave. Casanova is another, though like Fenecia, I don’t recommend it to newbies.

Non-pro: “360” worth a visit for its penthouse 360 degree views of the city, and for eye candy, but not for hooking up. Great for taking a date. (Los Palos Grandes)

The hottest new non-pro place is in CC San Ignacio, next to “in&out”, in the site formerly occupied by the restaurant Europa, but I can’t remember its name.

Non-pro also worth mentioning: happy hour in any of the Las Mercedes steakhouses for mujeres >30.

I've also used the newspaper ads to find chicas in Caracas with varying degrees of success.

Once, I called and ad from the paper, asked for a chica and was to meet her in the lobby.

A really pretty chica entered about 30 minutes later and asked if I was the one that called ... of course I said yes ... we went upstairs, hit it off great, and I still call her to this day when I visit Caracas to meet up.

The funny thing is, after going upstairs with her, I got a call in my room after about 30 minutes asking where I was and why I hadn't met my chica in the lobby ... my new friend, the chica now with me, received a similar call from her service a short time afterwards asking why she hadn't met the client.

Turns out, another dude in the hotel had also called for service, from a different agency, and I just assumed that this chica that walked in the lobby was for me. She was really for the other guy.

I remember going up the elevator with her initially and thinking, she sure is pretty but I had asked for a lighter skin chica and this chica was morena.

I thought it was funny ... and we still laugh about it.
