mwv in the dr is a total scam. i booked with them last year in margarita island, vz and the "owner" told me in an email that just 2 days before i left, "you are all set". i wasn't. when i got there the place wasn't even open and so he puts me up at a family friendly place in playa el agua.

word on the street in the pop area is that mwv is a total bullshit scam operation. got that from a very well known and respected operator down there. bottom line: stay the fuck away from my wild vacation. com. in the dr. please!

with all due respect to geolopes i have to disagree about mwv being a total scam. it is true that the mi villa was raided at the end of '07 and several people went to jail including one **** girl. i happen to have gotten this information from the above-mentioned **** girl who has been a part-time girlfriend for the past two years (hey, i didn't know that she was just 17 when i met her at mwv! lol). the on-site manager was still being held in prison as of the following year when i revisited my little chica on the island. it is also true that the owner of mwv was less than entirely truthful about the incident when i asked him about it but i guess that i really can't blame him for not wanting to advertise the fact.

the truth is that mwv is still operating on mi in what is termed "provisional vilas. " basically they rent some villas at playa el agua, the last time i was there in '08 one was across the street from the beach and the other (which i stayed in) was a couple blocks off the beach in a nice resort. i haven't been back since uncle hugo started showing his ass.

as for the mwv dr operation, i totally disagree that it is a scam. i stayed there last year for several days and had a great time. the villa is not on the beach but the party atmosphere is still there as only mwv can do it (every time i visited mwv whether on mi or the dr i have received a free blow-job within 15 mins of arrival). they do have a beach villa that they use for special times which i have heard is very nice. i for one do not plan on patronizing mwv any more simply because in the dr there is no need to spend that much money to have your choice of hot chicas. if one has a working knowledge of the language and the game, one can stay anywhere and live like a king.

My Wild Vacarion is NOT closed. I don't know why Paul of TS is insisting that they all are, but MWV is open and fine. Total Satisfaction decided to move their operation to the DR. However, My Wild Vacation is still on Margarita and not going anywhere.

I see now that MWV is moving to DR.

MWV in the DR is a total scam. I booked with them last year in Margarita Island, VZ and the "owner" told me in an email that just 2 days before I left, "YOU ARE ALL SET". I wasn't. When I got there the place wasn't even open and so he puts me up at a family friendly place in Playa El Agua. He even sent some young, Dutch douchebag to collect his fee from me. Dude wasn't even there to take care of his own business during the crackdown, Unbelievable! Fortunately, I speak good Spanish and know the culture. So, I just stole 2 of his putas that he stranded there, and pulled off a decent time in the E & E mode (escape and evasion). I split from the small hotel after 2 days and did my own thing at a small posada nearby. Turned into a decent adventure. Came back home with tons of leftover cash that was supposed to go to MWV. Paid it right back out to my good friend the contractor who renovated my kitchen, watched the house, and fed my dog when I was gone.

I am going to Isla Margarita next week for some R&R. This forum seems dead. Does anyone have any information on the current status of mongering there? I am not going there to monger, but if I can find something worthwhile I would partake. Any hints or helpful information would be greatly appreciated.
