In the spirit of give and take, I thought I might share my local slang list. I broke it into three sections: phrases that I've used and know work, phrases that I've read about but haven't tried, and phrases that I've tried and they didn't understand. I'd appreciate it if expert Chinese-speaking folk can help me out with the latter.

Works:
口交 (kou3 jiao1) or 吹箫 (chui1 xiao1): BJ
毒龙 (du2 long2): AR
深喉 (shen1 hou2): deepthroat (first one I've seen where the translation is literally the same!!)
红绳 (hong2 sheng2): red rope (the famous red rope service)
双飞 (shuang1 fei1): threesome

Read about or heard:
打炮 (da3 pao4) /大活(da4 huo2): have sex
口暴 (kou3 bao4): BBBJCIM
沙漠风暴 (sha1 mo4 feng1 bao4): "operation desert storm".. BJ with pop rocks
一剑穿心 (yi1 jian4 chuan1 xin1): "sword stab".. ice water put into your rear end and extracted with straw (!!!!!)

Tried, but they didn't understand:
水晶之恋 (shui3 jing1 zhi1 lian4): "crystal love".. supposed to mean multiple pops??
颜射 (yan2 she4): "color shoot".. supposed to mean a facial.. but they didn't understand

I'd really appreciate the verbiage needed to ask for a facial.. I suppose I could say "我要放精子在你的面上" but that just seems odd.

Originally, I thought the word was 金鱼缸 (jin yu gang)... "fishbowl". However, this word appears to be slang, or at least not universally understood at saunas in China. Is there a better way to ask so they definitely know what I mean?

I've never heard of any LE working undercover in a BBS, sauna or massage place but that does not mean it does not exist anywhere in China. Maybe I should be more careful?

I usually just ask straight up at reception what is on the menu unless it looks like a semi-legit place e.g. BBS where you can acually get your hair cut. In that case, I will negotiate with the girl in the room. That said, I prefer to negotiate an all-inclusive package upfront before the session starts either way. What I dislike most is to get started and negotiate with the girl with my dick in her hand. It ruins the experience for me and I start thinking with my little head rather than my big head.

What you ask is a function of the establishment and your comfort level. Some guys are uncomfortable asking straight out. Your first phrase above is straight to the point for a HJ. The second one implies that you are looking for FS. It may be easier to just ask what extra services are available and the cost of them.

Thanks for all the info on here, learnt a lot and hope to make some contributions in the near future.
