There are several niche monger boards. A very large(and good one) specializes in CR has pretty much cornered the market on mongering for CR.

Meh, its not so great. Last post of substance was some odd weeks ago.
I just think there isn't much to say about CR that hasn't already been said. If you're looking to have an unsatisfying $100 experience, buy into a real estate pyramid scheme, or stagger around drunkenly and get taken in by any number of resentful, knife-wielding locals then CR is the place for you.

In about 40 days I can find at least 10 posts every day for the D. R. With photos, why can't we get that passion back into the san jose area. Hell I got robbed and I still love the place. Also this site has great info on the asian areas I plan to go to in nov. But san jose will always be like a second home to me (living in florida) its such a easy trip. Lets keep San Jose section alive and up to date!

The biggest reason that the CR board has fallen off IMHO is the wave that has hit internet marketing and that is niches. Little small areas of interest that people are passionate about and will pay cash for goods and services for that niche.

C.R. use to be my old stomping grounds for partying. I first went during the early 90's. This time around, I found it to be oversaturated with herds of men willing to pay whatever. So I do not find it to be anywhere near as fun as it use to be. Yet, I still had a wonderful time. I since have moved on to other places such as Brazil, Colombia and Argentina. Those places are leaps and bounds better than C.R. Just my opinion based on my personal experiences. But i still think Ticaville is a fun place. Especially for daytime activities.

Once you break the ice with a Colombiana it CAN be quite good however most mongers are not going to put in the time require that is needed for that and quite frankly why should we?

Part of CR appeal is that it is close to the US and only about an 3 to 4 hr plane ride(of course that depends on where you are coming from as well) and cost about $500. From my city in Texas all the countries that you mentioned are at least an 8 hr plane ride and would run in at least about $700.

I say CR when you only have a few days and other places like Brazil when you have some time.

Just got back from C.R. and would like to share a couple of thoughts with the forum. First of all let me thank those that have contributed to the forum with great info. It made it easy for me to catch up with what has been happenning in C.R.

I have not been to San Jose since 2005. I noticed that back in 2005, about 25% of the Blue Marlin ladies were Colombian. I would say that number has risen to over 50% easy. Seems most of the ticas have moved over to the Key Largo spot.

Spoke to a couple of Colombianas who think the market is even tougher now because there are so many Colombianas. So it even effects them to a certain extent. Just found that to be interesting.

A couple of Colombianas did share with me some very interesting stories from their daily experiences with customers. Some of these ladies make big.....big money. But this only pertains to a particular clique. To their credit, they look amazing. But they are all business. They are hardcore pros with alot of savy negotiating skills. They don't even realize how good at business they really are. Hell, I really do not go in with high expectations with these ladies. They talk a big game as for what they promise to do once inside the room, but they provide very mechanical service. Ofcourse, there are some exceptions. I usually stay away from them.

Ticas have a better reputation for better service, but even then its not a 100% PROOF thing either. A few years ago, I think Ticas were always a safe bet. But not anymore. But generally speaking, they still are great providers. Very sweet and kind.

I found Zona Blue and New Fantasy to be good value for the money as for service. But its really hit and miss as for nice looking ladies.

Overall I found things to be alot more expensive than a couple of years ago. But its still a decent deal.

Just wanted to share my last trip with the members. Back round on me. This was my 15th trip.
