Here are a few pictures of what the room look like. Ignore the girl she got in the way when I was trying to take pictures of the room.

Got selected for a somewhat last minute trip work trip to Cost Rica and I want to take full advantage of things. Since it's work related they have a hotel (the boring kind) that I was expected to stay at so none of the fun places Most of the talk about places seem to be hotels with on-site girls. I'd like to know of any decent and reasonably priced places (as I certainly like to visit a few during my week there) where I can show up and have fun on-site there in private room for an hour or a few then head back to my boring hotel for the night.
Thanks

Posts: 3359I meant to say that La Amistad and Sportsman's are very close to each other, not Zona II and La Amistad. Zona II and the Dunn Inn are very close to each other.

I'm a fan of La Amsted...price includes the food and drink, as well as NO joiner fee (there's not one at Sportsman's or Zona II either).
I've never stayed at Zona II, but in told that "set" price for the girls goes down to like $22-23 if you stay there...that's a pretty drastic discount.

Posts: 3359All those hotels you mention are 10 to 12 blocks from the Del Rey. Not too many chicas will want to do that walk. Sportsman's is also uphill. If you stay at Sportsman's, avoid the rooms by the bar. Zona 2 has its own women so I personally would not see a reason to bring a woman there from the Del Rey. La Amistad and Zona II are very close to each other. The Presidente is not chica friendly, has not been for several years unless something has changed again.

Hi guys,
Hoping I could get some last minute advice for a last minute trip to SJ for this weekend. Trying to pick a hotel. I have only been to SJ once, five years ago, and don't remember much. Stayed at the HDR, at that time. I have read the forums back about 1. 5 years, but still can't get a clear picture. Disappointingly, no good ROD for some time.
Trying to decide between the most commonly mentioned options: HDR, La Amistad, Sportsman, and Zona 2.
The problem is, I don't have a good idea about how far things are. Are Sportsmans, La Amistad, and Zona 2 close enough that you can pick up a girl from HDR and walk back to your hotel? Somebody else asked this question, but the answer wasn't clear to me.
If possible, I want to take advantage of the Amistad free ride to Jaco. But it would also be nice to stay in a hotel with action at the bar, like the other 3. Reports on girl quality are all over the place, so I'll have to see for myself. Would like to avoid the $10 fee at HDR if possible.
Finally, the room descriptions at sportsman lodge talk about rooms in the "modern wing, courtyard, and clubhouse". Recommendations?
They all seem to cost $100/ night. I don't think that there is a price difference.
Thanks in advance!

Hi guys!
Considering a last second trip to CR this weekend. Haven't been there in about 5 years, and although I have been to Domenical and Manual Antonio, never to Jaco. Since I like to surf, normally I would go to Jaco, but the weather report is for severe thunderstorms all week. Not sure its worth hauling my ass down there if I will be indoors the whole time anyway.
So if its just punting, and few outdoor extracurriculars, which reigns supreme and why? I guess its slow / rainy season now. For guys in CR now, what are the going rates at HDR and Cocal? Chica quality?
Thanks!

Posts: 13Any places right by the airport?
Hi,
I will be coming to Costa Rica in July, and spending one night at airport Holiday Inn Express before leaving early the next morning on a short flight to one of the national parks, where I'll hike for a week. After that I am heading back up to San Jose for a few nights, staying in one of the chica friendly hotels that I have learned about thanks to this forum. My question is this. I picked the Holiday Inn Express because my priority that first night is to not mess up my early departure the next morning. BUT. I'm curious if there any good chica pick-up spots right there. The casino next door? I wouldn't mind getting a little recreation in before I head down to the jungle, but I'd rather not head into the city until I get back. Advice?
