It's going to be my 1st time to Costa Rica, going to be there early Feb for 10 days, traveling solo. Plan to do the sites w / a little bit of mongering on the side.

1. Anything worth seeing in San Jose during the day? Or do I just save my energy for an up-all-night kind of evening?

2. Has anyone every travelled with a lady / took them for out of town excursions outside of SJ?

3. Any action in Tamarindo? I would like to go. But might consider Jaco a close substitute.

I believe you should go solo. Why? I have been to San Jose times solo and it is the way to go. You can be more alert to your surroundings, women won't be intimated to come up to someone alone, as compared to a big rowdy group, and you will always, always always meet tons of ex-patriots and guys at the bar to talk to. To me! I think the best is Hotel Little Havana. They have full service for $40 before 1 pm weekdays (which the place is not called Zona II). They also have good looking girls and the place is newer, clean and big!

You can get BBFS with older girls. They are usually there during daytime. None of the good looking night time girls agree to BBFS. Ones I had during daytime cost me $50 and they would stay all day. They have kids to take care of and they would leave by 6 PM.

I have had some girls I knew repeated every visit. After I got to know them they would allow BB.

I never had a problem with any diseases. Generally all the girls appear clean. Only smell you can sometimes is of condom smell.

When I was there over Halloween weekend I paid every girl $60, two offered up there Culo for an extra $20 but apart from that every girl accepted $60. You are right it does seem a lot slower down there now then when I first started going. They will still ask for $100 initially but all accepted $60 when I stuck to my guns.

I go to San Jose twice a year and the prices to me appear to be the same. I just returned on Jan 2, 2014. Mostly it is $50. At the Pirate Club it is 26Mil Colones ($52). At Hotel Little Havana, they have an earle bird special before 1 pm for $40. But most women will settle for $50 in total! You should never pay more than that and in most cases you can get it for $35. $40 by asking! $60 or more is too much! This my reporting as of Jan 4, 2014.

I usually go there between 10pm and midnight, chicas usually start going home around 4 am and they are open til 6 or so if they have customers. The cost to get in is 6000 comes with 2 sodas. 2 beers or 3 rail drinks. I have gotten the rail drinks plenty of times, they are legit. Chica prices for a drink (lapdance in the public area) are 5000, for the private room 15500 for 15 mins or 31,000 for 30 minutes I think.
