I just flew into San Jose and spent one night (Wed) at the HDR, before heading to Jaco. Hotel is obviously, nothing special (room wise). Got there about 4 PM to meet some friends and there were several to select from, but most were older or heavier. About 8 or so, the bar area started to increase in selections and the talent level went up. By about 11 or so, there was a nice selection to choose from. Not like it was pre-covid, but solid variety. I fount a very nice, pretty local to have some drinks with and then go up stairs. Very accommodating and great time there. Offered to go to Jaco with me, but wanted to try some of the local fair. It is the rainy season, so the trip to Jaco beach took 4 hours due to the landslides from all the rain. HDR was fine for what you expect and not as dead as some seemed to indicate. Very friendly and fairly low pressure at the bar. Seems like they are happy to get people back there. (casino is still closed) I will post a Jaco report later. Enjoy and stay safe.

Depending on phone and OS, you may need to enter in a ' sign before the number. It will add automatically for iPhone on Apple OS, but I don't think it does for Android OS.

I have to enter a plus sign in front of the number. So for my cell phone at home (an Android phone) a Costa Rica number looks like +506 1111 1111. For an American or Canadian number a plus 1 in front of the area code and number.

Hey can anyone help me out with a basic ass question. Basically I'm trying to just add girls numbers to whatsapp from their ads and I just can not get it to work. I have no idea how to fix it. Sorry for the noob stuff guys I promise once I get it all figured out I'm visiting Costa Rica tomorrow and I'll leave reports for every girl I play with. I just can't even seem to add the numbers from these girls ads on to whatsapp?

If the person has whatsapp associated with that phone number then after you enter their number in your phone directory it should show whatsapp as one of the options for contacting them. If they don't have whatsapp account associated with the number you have in your phone directory then when you try from whatsapp it would send the invitation for them to join. Sometimes it takes a little while for the whatsapp app to check whether that number is connected to a whatsapp account. It used to take overnight sometimes, but generally is almost instantly.

I stayed at the HDR this past weekend. Unfortunately, the casino is still not operational, and I got no firm ETA from the front desk folks. It's too bad because I think the casino adds some energy to the place. Maybe they will get it operational for the Halloween party. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night were not as packed as pre-COVID times, but it was not too bad. Prices were still around the same, about $100 gets you a good encounter. The chica "room fee" increased slightly from pre-COVID $12 to $15, so not a significant increase.

The Thursday DJ played popular dance music, but I was disappointed in the music on Friday and Saturday where a different DJ (I think it was a female but kind of hard to tell) only played hard rock (KISS, AC / DC, Zeppelin, etc.). From my years at the HDR, the nights where the music is festive / dance girls are dancing, laughing, shaking their ass, singing along, and drinking more.

Overall, it was still a positive experience and I will continue to visit the HDR. I am, however, thinking about venturing to the DR, which I know nothing about. The fucking hotel is a working girl house, used to love the place, but to change for a girl coming to your room from their house of working girls is ridiculous! And starting over and trying to get back on track and pulling this shit, I hope they flop "! Period, the downfall of the last owners was when they started bullshit like this, greed greed, and no loyalty to their many years of customers, put the fucking price in your room rate and be done, ,you stay in their *****house at a room rate and charge more to bring a girl up, funk off!
