Too many places to go, so little time and not much money. I was there last year. Seems so long ago. I was thinking about it, El Salvador mostly, until I checked the Weather Channel.

Only 4 out of at least 100 MP's were closed. 5 actually, but we don't count the 5th one because nobody ever goes there. All the girls from New Fantasy are now at their other location Las Gatitas. Yes LG is in a rough barrio, definately want to take a cab there if alone. All of the ZB girls except Pamela ended up at Sportsman's Lodge. They are helping to lower the pricing structure at SL and, from what I hear, pissing all of the SL regulars off. There are many other MP's that are worth checking out, remember, you don't have to stay, but, you may want to.

Del Rey and Blue Marlin are 24/7, and probably have a few new lower priced chicas working there during the day.

I say go for it. I am definately not going to cancel my trip from August 29-Sept. 6.

Zona Blue should be re-opened in a few weeks, and New Fantasy should (I hear) be opened even sooner than that. I can't speak for Musas, 747, or the Dungeon, but don't care for those places anyway.

Police raid brothels that operate in San José

A few friends of mine ended up going to a place owned by the owners of New Fantasy called gatitos or gatitas. Essentially they booted all of the girls from that place and replaced them with the ones from New Fantasy until they reslove their issues with the closing of the NF. I do not know where it is located. Yet my buddies told me it is in a shitty barrio.

It is a shit hole and the girls were not happy about the location. Small crapy rooms. Also, they had a special going on for two girls for $65 us.

As for Zona Blue, all I can say is that I saw Pamela hanging out by the lobby of the Presidente hotel the day before yesterday around 1 pm. Laters!

I appreciate all of your inputs for our bachelor party. I like Huey's idea about the Balmoral, instead I'm gonna say it so it sounds like, Balmorey....that way they won't find anything about it and it is similar to Del Rey...he he he. I don't think they would do the research, but just trying to be on the safe side. I will also have the bachelor and other concerned call their better halfs at least once a day, that way they shouldn't have a reason to track us down. Christ, we're only gonne be there for a Thurs - Sun. (3rd week Aug btw)

As far as my love life. I am single, occasional girlfriend here and there and a seasoned mongering pro; U.S. stateside and multiple trips to Tijuana & Bangkok. If I ever do get married, and that's a huge IF, it's probably gonna be to a bi-sexual stripper based on her physical attributes, so you can see how shallow I am. And I hope to God there will be lots of sharing of me. But hey, one life, live it how you choose right?

The only married concern for the trip is the bachelor and his married brother-in-law, who happens to be one of my best friends and my boss. He wanted me get something set up that "we just can't do in the states". I knew their ladies would go ballistic if they heard TJ or Bangkok, so I thought this as a perfect opp to cross another mongering destination off the list. I can say without a doubt that neither of them will do anything to jeapordize their relationships, they just truly love living the hedonism life through their single friends eyes.

And yes, there will be lots of money spent. But that will be on golfing, zip-lining...(can you guys think of anything else we should do? seriously, need some ideas) etc...and of course the chicas. But like I said, I've done this many times before and ain't no senorita getting more than $50-$75 out of me, and to be on the upper end of that scale, she better look like Shakira or J-Lo.

Is there a hotel with a similar name or location that is near the Del Rey that is family friendly we could give them? Anything with a positive google search would work.

I suggest the Hotel Presidente. Of course, you can mention that you are renting an apartment in the 'burbs. There exists several condos in La Uruca, for example.

Yes, my recent week-long July trip was my tenth in the last 42 months. Excessive indeed, considering I am a poor sap with a modest income and 2 very muscular, well-developed credit cards. At this rate, I am due to file for bankruptcy sometime in 2009.

Anyway, I digress. I spent the week at my usual haunt, the Sportsmens Lodge, in my favorite room, Las Palmas. Just my luck, I landed directly in the middle of a construction zone, as they were putting the finishing touches (supposedly) on the new, new wing. I'm talking hammers and buzz saws from 8am to 8pm, no exaggeration. Really pissed me off, actually, and I actually checked out mid trip, but found my new haunt even worse in a different sort of way, and came running back to the SL with my tail between my legs 24 hours later. Construction noise tends to follow me around whenever I travel. Last year on my trip to Peru, they worked on the elevator right next to my 10th floor suite at the Residencial Las Americas in Miraflores for 3 consecutive days. The booming bass notes coming from a Pizza Alley disco across the street would keep you up to 4am or so, and just as you got to sleep, the elevator work would commence. Later on during this trip, I spent an entire week at a high-end Amazon wilderness lodge a few hours by boat from Iquitos, and, sure enough, they were adding some new cabins to the complex. Constant hammering every day of my stay.

Anyway, I digress! I did have a great, great time with the ladies. The SL was a little thin in this regard (always just a simple matter of timing), but I did enjoy multiple sessions with Carolina, including a double with her and a foxy flaca named Helen. Carolina is somewhat shy and reserved, but I find her to be very sexy and a good performer. She has had some incredibly tough luck in her young life, and I admire the way she seems to be dealing with it. I also sessioned with her good friend Luna, formerly of Bonita's. A real sweetie who might offer her backdoor if she likes you.

I also had a couple of hall-of-fame sessions at ZB, both two-girl, and my first 3-girl session, which didn't work out so well. She has gained some weight, however, and isn't nearly as attractive as she was a couple of years ago. Tell them you are staying at the Balmoral. The last four letters in it's name explains the hotel. Bal"moral" is very nice, close to the action casinos I'm sure, in your case (nudge, nudge, say no more), and very un-chica friendly.

By the way, I'm glad you guys will be gone by the time I get there for Labor Day. No offense, but it sounds like you guys are going to spend way too much money.

Gt, Try the Holiday Inn Aurora. It is not "Monger Friendly" and would be good cover. Also, the Presidente. Presidente is about 40/60 mongers to tourists and has a slight reputation. Question; What if one of the spouse tries getting in touch while your in SJO?
