In Mexico (Farmacias Guadalajra) its 160 pesos ($8. 50) for 16 100 MG tablets! Costa Rica prices are crazy. !

Probably girl friendly, although a fee to take them to your room if you stay there. But it is virtually empty. No one goes there any more. The Taormina is the place where there are the most chicas circulating through, and Sportsmens will have some of the same ones circulating through in afternoon and evening.

Of all the girls I talked to in the hotel, only one, a Dominican said she would not do BBBJ. So if things are slow for the girls you might get $80 but to make them happy and get quality service the standard is cien to get top girls there. I would usually pay for 1 1/2 hrs for 60 K colones which converts to $111. I paid 70 K colones to a girl for all night which converts to $130 but I did buy her dinner as well. To me to get excellent service I don't care whether I have to pay $80 or $100. In a week I had about 12 sessions with 5 different women and not a single one was bad. I didn't even bother to go to Sportsmens or HDR.
Thanks for all this valuable info, and I'm glad a great time. Quick question: Did you meet all these fun girls at Taormina?

It's barely hanging on and it is still "girl friendly", but not much of a selection. I arrive on Thursday for an update. The Taormina is the place to go nowadays.

    Cheapest prices. Walmart or MasxMenos.

    Best Selection. AutoMercado.

Selection is heavily weighted toward South American an Spanish wine. If you are looking for a specific wine, search 'Bottega Costa Rica' or 'Vinum Store Escazu' to view their catalogs and relative prices.

I doubt there is any significant price difference. Selection difference possibly. Wine in San Jose is probably a bit more than in the USA, but similar to prices I see in Canada. But overall it is a very small part of my costs.

Prices are higher in CR compared to Colombia. Chicas are easier to find in CR than Colombia. Doesn't mean there's more P4 P in CR, just that there are venues in San Jose and Jaco where the chicas are conveniently ready for you to browse the goodies. Colombia requires more effort and more Spanish. So, in effect, in CR you pay for the convenience. But if you've been successful in Colombia and enjoyed it, I would continue to go to Colombia.

If I had to live in either Costa Rica or Colombia for the rest of my life, it would be Costa Rica for sure. If, on the other hand, I had just been told I had only a month or two to live, it would be Colombia for sure. Does that help?

You can absolutely find many gems, and some of them may even be Colombianas. Price will be higher but depending on your style, Spanish level, and distance to travel, it could even out. Do your research and pick the one that best fits your wallet and style.

SJ is cheaper and easy to navigate, Jaco is more expensive but has a chill beach town vibe.

Prices in Costa Rica are a lot higher than Colombia. For everything.

That would be logical, but is not the case in Latin America. Chain store prices frequently differ from one branch to another in Costa Rica and many other LatAm countries.

Don't think those are great prices. I have bought them cheaper through an individual, but I believe they were imported generics.

As for addresses. Google may be your friend. But addresses are not much help in CR as in many cases there are none. The building I am in right now for example. There is no address. Well, there may be a descriptive one somewhere, but it is not available.

added - the farmacia he mentioned is a chain, so who knows which one he was talking about, but prices would be the same in all of them
