You will find what you are looking for in San Jose. There are many MP's where you can get an erotic massage followed by sex. I recommend New Fantasy Massage. They usually have 5-10 chicas working and offer half / full hour sessions. The chicas get fully nude and will give you an erotic massage followed with sex. Most will also offer a BBBJ for an extra price; I usually give them $10 US. Make sure you bring your own condoms though, as they charge extra for them.

If this is your first trip to CR I recommend staying at the Hotel Del Rey. It's a one stop shop for girls, gambling, food, and drink! The hotel is full of chicas that have worked in a MP before, so you can get an erotic massage followed by sex in your room.

I would venture to say that local establishments are going to put the screws to you if you pay for a meal or groceries in American. To a chica, $80 bucks is $80 bucks.

They don't put the screws to you in CR they just don't. If you use US dollars in Colombia yes they will give you something like 1500-1 which is a joke but not in CR. Its 500-1 and if it drops to like 490 or 480-1 some places adjust for that but some don't and in that case you make out by using US dollars.

I never pay more than $15 for a cab, walk over to the left when you get out of customs and past all the mad house commotion and zillion drives and hustlers, go about a block down and just wiat, you'll get pirates who will pull over, stand firm at $15 and sooner than later you'll get a ride.

No offense guys, but after a long flight, customs security, lines et do you really want to walk a ways with your bags, wait, haggle et to save $10 for a cab. To me I just pay it get to the city and let the party begin.

All the girls value the dollar at 500-1 and so do most Hotels, all taxis, most resteraunts and so forth. The only benefit is when you can get about 550-1 or higher than you can make out a little. Last week it was 490-1 so I definately didn't want to change when I was there.

Like you probably I also like using local currency wherever I go so as to get a better rate or not seem like such a touristy gringo in another land but, in this instance (CR) there really is no benefit. Everyone everywhere takes the dollar.

Another comparison is Mexico when the peso is 10-1. Everyone values it at that. Right now its about 13. 5 to 1 so you would definately want the exchange.

The only change I have noticed in the last 2 years are the girls seeming to be much more Time concious and mechanical. CR was never great for GFE but it seems even less now. IMHO.

$30 for a cab. L. Also if the rate is still about 500-1 when you get there don't even worry about changing money. Just use US dollars.

I'll compare the exchange rate between this new kiosk and the bank next to the exit tax counter when I hit town 3 weeks from now and post my findings. Once again, this departure level bank is easily accessible and won't rip you off with a bad rate.

The only extra service at the Macau saunas that is not available in CR is the shower with a body to body massage. I have not found a place in CR that offers body to body massages. But keep in mind that in Macau one hour with a girl plus the spa fee will run you about $250 US, whereas, in CR full service at a MP will only run you $50 US. You can take three trips to CR for the price of one trip to HK / Macau. Also, if you're going to go all that way, you should visit Thailand instead. IMHO a soapy massage in Pattaya blows the Macau sauna experience away and costs a third of the price. For me CR is cheap, convenient and there is nothing like a hot latin ass!

They have now added a money exchange kiosk to the departure level. The bank that Mr Jetsetter mentioned is located at the far end of the terminal. In the corner past the exit tax counter (the opposite end as security).

.Since I'm bored and if anyone wants to enlighten me, I started reading about the FKK's which then got me to reading the Macau forums and the " sauna " experience. The issue there is the 22 hour flight from Florida to Hong Kong. Is there anything like the saunas in Costa Rica. I know there are massage joints but do they actuallly give a nude massage the standard 45 minutes and then of course the Happy Ending or are the massage parlors just basically a 5 minute massage then get down to business. In 15 or so trips, I have NEVER paid more than $20 for a taxi. Go upstairs to the departure level and get a taxi there. Offer the driver a flat fee of $20. I have never been turned down even once. These drivers have just dropped off passengers and are delighted to receive additional compensation for the drive back to town.

When paying for food and drinks out on the town, you wil often be subject to a less than favorable exchange rate. If you are in the gulch, a good place to exchange money is at the Colonial Casino.

Returning for my annual trip to HDR in 3-weeks. Curious as to what the current exchange rate is; usually buy colones from the casino window. Also, anything new with taxi fares? Last year the airport cabs all seemed to use meters, any change? Still in the $30 to $35 range from the airport? Gracias!

Please don't ask for a Coors Light when you're in CR, you can always have that at home. The most common beer is Imperial, it has a light average taste, but you can get one anywhere. There's also more premium brands like Bavaria Gold and Bavaria Dark.
