Nice report. Glad you got lucky with your selection. $80 for 3 hours is a pretty decent deal, IMHO, especially considering the excellent level of service.

Was the Marriott going to charge a chica fee if they had indeed ended up registering Bianca?

As I understand it there is no fee at the Courtyard by Marriott - they just want the girl to register, more theirs and your safety. One other note that I forgot to add, the Courtyard is literally 200 feet from Hooters and 5-6 other very good restaurants. All in all it was a great location!

After extensive research on the Costa Rica board, I would like to thank everyone for making my visit to San Jose all the much more enjoyable.

I am here on business, so my time for the hobby was limited to yesterday afternoon. Since time was of the essence, I made the trip to the Hotel Del Rey, and specifically the Blue Marlin Bar. I arrived about 3 in the afternoon, and found an amazing selection of women from 5's to 8's in all shapes and sizes. Probably because it was early I only saw one 9. I sat at the bar and decided to take my time to survey the scene and make a wise selection. I was approached by 8-9 ladies who started out with small talk - to others who were very direct whispering in my ear about what a great BJ they were capable of delivering. I spent some time talking to a fellow monger at the bar about how great the talent was in San Jose, and he exchanged information about the going asking prices ($100-$150), and how if you negotiate just a little bit they soon would drop to $60-$80.

Early on I noticed a very well built lady, but decided to see what else was available. She was probably the most conservativly dressed woman in the bar - but in the end that was more of what I was looking for since I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott. As I sat at the bar for about an hour, I wished that I would have moved soon on this lady as she seemd to disappear from the scene. As I got up from the bar and walked over toward the casino, there she was. We again made eye contact, and before very long she was sitting next to me.

Her name is Bianca, and she is from Nicarargua - around 28 years old. We had a couple of drinks and spoke for about 45 minutes. Her english was pretty good and she was a great conversationist. Finally the discussion turned to her plans for the evening. She started out at $125. I frowned and asked for how long? To make a long story short, we settled on $80 for 3 hours. Off to the cab stand where we took the red taxi back to the Courtyard by Marriott.

As we walked by the front desk she was prepared to leave her ID, and the lady behind the desk started to ask, but I told her we were goingg to the bar for a drink. She said fine, and that was that. We had a drink and before we were half way finished, Bianca suggested that we finish our drink in my room. Off to the elevator, and into the room. The experience in the lobby is why I really wanted a lady who was dressed conseratively.

What followed was remarkable. We were almost finished our drinks, but she was really GFE with the kissing, petting, and great talk about what would follow. Into the shower we went where we cleaned each other VERY well, and included a BBBJ. Great skills! Off to the bed where we started with more heavy kissing, DATY, more BBBJ, then on to the main act. I will summarize that there were multiple positions. Afterwards, she gave me one of the better massages I had. One thing lead to another and we went on to round two.

Total time together was three and a half hours - no clock watching by Bianca!

I think you got an excellent deal for the $80.00 depending on the service and looks. It sounds as if service was pretty good, and as for looks.....everyone has their own particular taste. So if she made your toes tingle......fantastic.

Bundaman and Woodman your reports re-emphasis the point that you have to stay cool and negotiate a reasonable price.

First timers tend to get carried away and pay too much and very often are disappointed too.

Was in San Jose, Costa Rica for the first time (stayed at the Sportsman’s Lodge) February 12-16 and had a good time. Met some great guys through the boards and just by sitting at the SL bar. It’s been said before, but I’ll say it again, I found the mongers I met in CR to be the friendliest of any I have met in the other countries I have visited(Rio, Brazil and Puerto Plata and Sosua, Dominican Republic so far).

There were definitely a few lookers of the 20-30 girls coming and going from the SL, although its certainly no Del Ray with DRs parade of stunners. Unfortunately, I did not partake. If I have any regrets from this trip, it is not sessioning with any SL girls, but there is always next trip. I came close to pulling the trigger with a few SL girls, but between the MPs, the Del Ray, and the Bars in the gulch, I was always occupied.

I did have an interesting exchange with Raquel of SL. I know, there is probably more than one Raquel at the SL and countless others at other scenes. The Raquel I spoke with has long brown hair, huge breasts, and a tan complexion. Over two days of heated negotiation, she was unwilling to compromise her demand for $125.00 U.S. Sound familiar? It’s not like I was unreasonable. I countered with $100 and she would not budge. Guess she didn’t have to though because as soon as I walked away she was in someone else’s lap and word is that at least two guys paid her price. I don’t know about performance, but looks-wise she certainly was worth the money. However, it was a matter of principle for me, especially when I was getting girls from the Del Ray to accept $60. Also, she wouldn’t even agree to pictures so even if I paid what this hottie was demanding, I wouldn’t have any visual confirmation that I scored with her.

My first session went down at the HLH. I am posting a picture of the girl. I forget her name since the session was only ok. Paid the $46 U.S. for an hour with my VIP discount. When we got into the room, she claimed that I had only paid for the room and that I now had to pay her. I turned and gave her a tongue lashing and made it clear that I was aware of how it worked at HLH(thanks to the boards) and that if she provided a fun time, I would give her a nice tip. She continued to complain and I threatened to walk out and request a return of my money and advise the manager of her demands. She conceded and after a session I could at best describe as ok(with a covered BJ, DATY, and various positions), I tipped her 5000 Cs.

I understand from speaking with others that there are a few other girls also using this tactic. I didn’t see any of the HLH superstar’s (Pamela, Laura or Karen) until after I exited the room and saw Laura bent over the staircase, thong exposed, arguing on her cell phone with someone. Oh well, I chalked it up to bad timing and headed back to the SL.

I pulled a total of 3 chicas out of the Del Ray this trip. A Panamanian, a Dominicana (who lied and said she was Panamanian) and a Tica. Paid $60 U.S. for each for 2 hours in the late evening. There were at least two nights(Thursday and Saturday(after midnight) where for the entire time I was in the Del Ray my mouth dropped open as soon as I entered and did not close until exiting. I thought I would be prepared for the parade of hotties after many visits to Help and the high end termas in Rio. Seemed like more than 50% of the girls in the DR had huge breast implants as well as other forms of plastic surgery, including butt implants on many of the Columbianas and collagen injections.

Rather than selecting girls solely based on looks, my screening process was oriented towards those who might perform well. For $60 US I got quality and value. The downside was that after getting great sessions from nice girls for $60 I couldn’t justify paying $100 or more for the hotties like Raquel who would not come down on their demand amount. But I have to say that on the right night(can’t always predict when that is)the Del Ray is the ideal location in San Jose to gaze at premium eye candy.

Also visited Relax twice, which included a session with Ashley(very good covered BJ and a sweet girl). Funny thing is that the locals do not know this place as Relax. Nor do the very people who work there. We walked into a small structure with a small blue and red light display in the window across the street from IDEM and next to EROS and asked if it is Relax. The guy standing at the top of the stairs had no idea what we were talking about. We realized we were in the right place when one of the guys we were with called out the famous Jennie’s name and out she came of the shower wearing a towel after a previous session. Would have been great to session with this superstar but I gladly deferred to my new found friend who discovered her.

So I’m sitting on the couch after my session with Ashley and the door to a nearby room opens and out pops Jennie and another beauty(brownish red hair, pale skin and a thick body). From what my friend told me the adage of taking Jennie and whatever girls she selects to the room for a rocking session is profoundly true. There were only between 10 and 15 girls at Relax but I was very impressed by the quality and the price (15,000 Cs for an hour and 10,000 for a half) can’t be beat.

Visited Pantera Rosa(Pink Panther) on one night as well. Received free entrance and a free drink with my VIP discount. Again, I was surprised by the high quality of the girls in light of the cost of a session, albeit a brief session. The price for 3 songs in one of the booths the size of a closet across from the stage was 14,000 Cs. One of the girls tried to convince my friend that the price for non-ticos was $50 US but I advised him otherwise. If you require more than three songs you simply pay for the additional songs in the booth. For an hour in the VIP room upstairs, we were quoted $150 U.S, which was ridiculous in light of the price for a spot in one of the booths.

Also visited New Fantasy on a Saturday. There was a nice selection of girls. I sessions with Mary(short blond with a luscious booty) for the gringo price of $46.00 U.S. for an hour. The sauna was nice but extremely hot and the room contained a safe(Ask your girl to bring you the key).

Overall, what I liked about mongering in San Jose the most was the diversity of the women. CR is a hub for women all through Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean. From my pictures you will be able to tell that I certainly did not chose the hottest girls to session with. However, I was very pleased with the performance by each girl, except for the HLH girl, as they were true to their word. I was disappointed when it became apparent that it is more of a challenge to get a BBBJ in San Jose than in a destination like Brazil, where most trips even if I don’t specifically request it, I end up received BBBJ from more than half of the girls I session with.

I did have a good time though and have decided that San Jose is my new destination for short mongering trips. Rio is still no. 1 when I have the time to devote a week or longer to a trip. Thanks to all posters on the CR boards and to the great guys I met on my rookie trip.

Angelica, the masseuse at Sportsman's Lodge, does a great deep-tissue massage. They built her a new spa in the new "Mansion" wing of the hotel, so it's a class act now.

But she's a legitimate masajista, not a hooker. The SL front desk will usually track her down for you to make an appointment if she's not in the lobby.

While I do recommend paying for a membership here, I also suggest going to the other website and buying a membership there too.

You can get a VIP card that will pay for itself in a couple of days stay in certain hotels.

Just type "costa rica ticas" with no spaces and then of course your dot and com.

There's a lot of good information there as well as here.

Stayed at the Hotel Del Rey for the first time. It is a bit expensive, but you can't beat the convenience. Was treated very nicely there by all the staff. $10 chica fee, charged as an "upgrade" on your bill. Very good buffet breakfast, but nothing is free there. I would highly recommend it to any newbie going down for a first time, especially if you're alone.The girls as always were plentiful and willing to sit and drink with you before the horizontal mamba. Saturday, Valentine's Day was very slow, the chicas must have been with their real boyfriends, lol. Had a couple Columbians quote the "cien", but that is negotiated down relatively easily. Did the two-girl thing for the first time at $60 a piece. All in all, another memorable trip.
