I was thinking of taking a trip to CR, but from looking at this board, it looks like chica prices are not so good and no GFE.
Here in LA, you can get a decent GFE fro 80 hhr if you aren't too picky on looks. It sounds like it's about the same in CR?
So bother going to CR?

I was hanging out with Jeff today at HLH, and we were going over the greatest hits list of HLH / ZB. And it occurred to me that it's as good now as it's ever been. Even the old Zona Blue days when the A team roamed the halls of Costa Rica's most popular cat house.
So Jeff asked me to inform everyone of how nice the roster is lately. So I'll post some pics. Keep in mind, I normally take pics after the session, so this isn't always the best representation.

Ah. Beavis, I miss your posts. So you took a hiatus? I still go 2-3 times a year, but watching finances closer now. By the way, the taxi was still p&ssed because, my bud gave him 2000c and some coins that turned out to total only 3000c, not 3200c. As we walked away, I heard a loud "Oy!" When I asked my bud what was wrong, he said,"I'm tired of being taken. I gave him three thousand colones."
While the MP's are still priced good, there are still deals at the DR, especially with tourism down, and if you speak a little Spanish to create chemistry.
Also, you mention the drunken gringo assholes. Well, they are still there, and for some reasons think that they can do stuff that they wouldn't do in the States. We saw one who was being hauled away outside of DR, near taxi. We were told that the drunk sat on the hood of a parked taxi. When the taxi asked him to move, he started bouncing on the hood. Needless to say, when we saw him, he was being bounced to jail.

Posts: 812Costa Rica is nothing like it used to be. Greed has played quite a factor as prices have gone through the roof over the last 10 years or so. It will never die as the clueless will always think they have found heaven but there are much better places to play.

My bud asked me to meet him in SJO March 19-27th. We stayed at the usual Hotel Morazan, strictly because of the location and the help there is friendly to us. The free breakfast has improved and the lunch buffet is still a popular choice. Hotel Morazan was practically empty and the band noise from KL causing additional problems for this challenged place. As a matter of fact, Ricardo started a 10-day holiday, the day after we got there.
We have some regular friends, but managed to meet a few new ones at DR after the place picked up Thursday-Saturday. However, Sunday to Wednesday was scarce and empty. For example, early Tuesday night, I walked through KL and the band was playing to an empty room. AT HDR, it also looks like tourist travel is still down.
We went to our favorite restaurant La Princesa Marina and the sea bass and ceviche are still the best. We got a "bandito" taxi on the return trip, who was taking us back "a different way" near Sportman's, the park and school. My bud knew that we were going to get hosed, so when the meter hit 3200, (which is what we paid going out) , he said this is fine, we'll walk from here.
Wow! I didn't know that Easter was coming early this year. We missed the infamous shut-down. By unknowingly and figuratively pre-booking the last plane out on Wednesday. Everything closed on Thursday until after Easter.
All in all, it was a good relaxing trip and the non-stop Jet Blue prices from Orlando were less than flying to Atlanta.
We didn't know about the Mona Lisa, so we'll look that over during our next trip.

Posts: 345Threesomes usually are not what they are hoped to be. There's a different dynamic when you get two working girls together. When it's their suggestion, it's even worse.
I'd suggest trying a couple of HLH girls. There's more of a familiar dynamic to the girls who normally work there together, and even if it doesn't work out, you'll have spent a fraction of what a Del Rey girl costs.

The cabbie didn't get out of the taxi, as is common in these situations, there wasn't anyone else around walking, the victim (a little guy, who was prostrate on the ground, ie he wasn't fighting back, the two guys were kicking him) didn't know why his aggressors ran, so I guess he figured he caught a break and went on his way, actually I remember him walking slowly away. There was no "supposedly" about it.
Anyway who cares, ancient history.

Usually a victim will stay and at least show his gratitude or want call the cops, but no this guy got up and ran too!
All you saw was thugs beating on another thug-
----Let me just add--I don't think its wise to walk around Zona Rojo or Barrio Amon after 8:00pm --I know personally a friend who is costa rican walking to work in Barrio Amon held uop at gunpoint 1/2 block from work at 8:30 pm so it happens and right at the corner by Los Poas--your right take a cab to those areas---on the walking mall usually always people around ----walking alone at nite wouldn't advise it either after 10:00pm anywhere.
Personally--got shook down by cops when I was new to San Jose at 1:00am, dressed nice, alone but I never carry alot of colonies----so I had three mill on m($6.00US)--they gave me the wallet back with the $$ and said have a good nite.
