I am staying in Rio oro area in the the club society there.

Any updates on standard pricing at the main places in San Jose?

Del Rey, Sportsmens Lodge, Taormina for hotels / bars with chicas. Too many massage places to name, but they are all over the city, there is a map showing these somewhere on this site. You can search any of those on google maps to find them, if you don't already know them. If you think it is a vast area I think you are in a different place. You can walk from anywhere to anywhere downtown in 30 minutes. All of the places I mentioned are within 10 minutes walk of each other.

So what area are you living in?

I totally get where you are coming from, but I recently moved here and was busy settling and all. Now that I am settled I have some time to enjoy.

I have read few of the reports here but I just wanted to have like few recommendations from the seniors here for someone like a newbie here.

I am not asking for contacts as contacts just some recommendations of names, place and all as it's a very vast area and don't want to get lost like most of the guys.

And my specific tastes are in MILF which I haven't seen in the reports (the ones I have seen) so asked for help. Would be glad I get some names and places.

I went to Relax pension since it's like 5 minutes from where I'm staying. Had a decent time, BBBJ and LFK. 15 k colones for half hour. (Almost Everything else has been crazy expensive here).

Girl wasn't a looker but she was really nice. I was wondering is there a particular pension where the girls might be hotter? Monica's is the one I see mentioned over and over.

I think the mix is the same at most pensiones. Monicas has some, and Relax has some. On average I don't think there is a difference. At any of them the lookers get lots of business, and the not so lookers get business when the lookers are already busy. Which is one reason the ticos stand or sit and wait. To try to see the whole lineup come and go.

Mind you, the definition of which are lookers varies a bit from guy to guy. I think the Ticos may like the chunkier ones a bit more than most gringos. But not a huge difference in that respect.

I was at the HDR in January and will return in March. The casino was still closed in January, which is too bad becuase I think the casino helps liven atmosphere. I assume the casino will reopen sometime. The girl turnout was not quite as active as before COVID, however, I did see a decent turnout Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Thanks for the update. Will be at SL next week after an Jaco visit. Can you update current pricing at SL and HDR?

I need to fly somehwere tomorrow for a week long sexcation. How is the scene in Hotel Del Rey and Sportsman lodge these days? Are there enough girls available to choose from? I visited last in 2018 and loved it then. But, recent posts suggest del rey is closed for construction?

I was at the HDR in January and will return in March. The casino was still closed in January, which is too bad becuase I think the casino helps liven atmosphere. I assume the casino will reopen sometime. The girl turnout was not quite as active as before COVID, however, I did see a decent turnout Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

I go to CR every year since 2012 for Super Bowl Weekend. Usually ten days splitting the time between usually. The Sportsman and renting a condo or staying at the Cocal in Jaco. The Del Rey had just been bought last year by (I think) Chinese Investors when I was down for the annual vacation. It was terrible but that was a year ago. Haven't really read anything since to say things are better.

As alternatives to SL, HDR and Taormina. There were a number of nightclubs pre-pandemic where you could get laid Tango India comes to mind. Didn't go last year and not sure if they are still open?

Archemedis Strip Club was another great place with very very good looking girls and private rooms upstairs. It wasn't cheap. And I think I read somewhere they may have been raided? But they had some very hot girls at one time if you like the Strip Club scene?

I have been to both Sportsman in San jose and Jaco. I liked SPortsman a lot more. Jaco used to come alive only at night time, while in sportsmans, there were always girls available and I could just walk to del rey to pick someone and bring back to sportsman.

My question: How is the scene in sportsman and Hotel Dely rey these days? Going through recent posts is telling me that things have massively slowed down and is del rey closed?? I don't want to land there and realize its a dead city. I visited san jose last in 2018, so basically loved it then, but trying to understand if it is worth visiting today and enough girls are there during day and night times OR should I just go to Tijuana.

Pre Pandemic I used Seeking with some success in San Jose. There were a lot of freelance college girls on the site at the time. Had a lot of nice girls but it was a dating experience that included wininand dining most of the girls. Most of the girls that I did end up spending quality time wanted upwards of $200 or more for a one shot experience. I have not used it since my 2019 Super Bowl trip primarily because I used Seeking in the the Philadelphia to NYC corridor during that period of time and the ROI on the monthly investment wasn't worth the price of the site any longer.

I also used Seeking a few times (2/3) in Jaco on Super / Bowl Weekends. Had some nice girls but they were Jaco Hookers posting on the site circa 2018/19. No clue what the quality level is now?

But you are staying at the Sportsman which is a great starting point IMHO. Have patience the girls get better as the afternoon wears on. Taoromina after 8 PM. You'll probably see a lot of familiar (Sportsman's Lodge) girls there. Will be interested to see if things have picked up at the Hotel Del Rey this year over last year?
