Hello everyone. Surely you guys can go one day without doing the deed. Give the girl a day off to go to church and be with her family. It is this 'gotta have sex all the time, day and night', that actually gives mongers their bad name in the media and to most non monger types. Take a day off and give the little man a day off to store up more leche for the day after Easter.

Does anyone know if SJ mongering places like Del Rey etc are closed, slow on Easter Sunday. Made reservation for arriving on Sunday.

I've never been there for Easter or holy week. My buddy has though and told me that on Easter Sunday last year police/authorities came to the Sportsman's Lodge and taped the liquor bottles shut! Oh well, it's only one day. Plan in advance. If you have or can get a hold of the phone number of a chica who is willing to sneak away from the family to spend some time with you the day will pass a lot quicker.

I'm going the week prior, March 25-29. I expect it to be business as usual for those dates. Good luck.

Not sure if this has been covered or not yet, but I am just back from two weeks in San Jose and was finally able to get a prepaid chip for my unlocked cell phone. Costa Rica had been the only country out of the 17 Latin American Countries I have visited, where I could not get a Sim Card.
The wait is finally over. PM me if anyone needs to know the process. It is extremely simple.

Partying at the beaches for half the country, stay away from the mobs. Meanwhile, the entire week will likely be in the doldrums everywhere else, but still going, just at 20% the norm. A bad time to visit as a newbie. Remember, lotsa working girls wear crosses around their necks while getting sweaty. Easter time is family time, as are all Sundays.

The Del Rey will likely be open but very slow. Most every other mongering destination in town will be closed, with the exception of the Sportsmens Lodge. Don't worry too much, things will be back to normal the next day.

Does anyone have know anything about this club. If you in the Del Rey and go out the door to the taxi's I was told to turn right out of that door, go 2 blocks and turn right again, go 1 block and turn left and its down 6 blocks.

I am not sure what kind of club it is but they have rooms on site and do p4p is what I was told, any help would be appreciated, you can PM me if you like, thanks

So how much time prior to your flight departure time would you say one should arrive at the airport?

I used $$US when negotiating with the chicas. That CR monoply money gets too confusing and the girls all know the US currency anyway.

The airport was hectic, but again, it was Sunday afternoon. I got to the airport at 12:30 pm for a 2:35 pm flight and had plenty of time to spare. Still, I feel anything less than 2-hours and you may be cutting it close.

The weather was great!! Low 80s, no humidity and not a drop of rain.

I was in Costa Rica for 10 days, Feb. 13-22. San Jose on Feb. 13, 14, 21 and 22. It was difficult to get away so I opted for the closest place from my hotel (Holiday Inn) which turned out to be New Fantasy. A 10 minute walk. I went on 2 successive Sundays.

The first time I walked in, to my surprise I was immediately surrounded by 12 beautiful girls. I had heard that they would be in the little room behind glass, but that was not the case. They actually surrounded me in a big circle. It was difficult to make a choice with them all looking at me, but I finally settled on Azul. Long black hair, an 9 in my book.

She immediately took me back to the room. She quoted me $45 US for an hour, $30 for a half hour. Being in a hurry, I opted for the half hour.

We got undressed. I wanted to start with BBBJ, but she wanted an extra $20 for that, which I gladly paid. After about 10 minutes, of that, she put on the cover and got into cowgirl. She rode me for another 10 minutes before I came.

The second visit was much like the first, except that this time the girls were in the side room behind the glass, just sitting and talking. I couldn't see through the cloudy glass very well, so I just walked around the wall to see the girls better. Then I came out to the madam at the reception desk. She asked me to point out the girl I wanted on the monitor. I pointed to one of only 2 blond girls that I had seen. Her name turned out to be Susanna. She was about an 8. Short and cute.

I went for the same deal in the room. $30 for a half hour + $20 for BBBJ.

Tried a variety of positions, finished in mish.

Both girls were quite enthusiastic and friendly. Susanna said that if I came back for an hour she would give me 2 pops, no problem.

Alas, I didn't have time for a return visit.

My next report will be from my favorite mongering country, Spain, where I will be for the months of June and July.

Returned from a 4-day stay at HDR a little over a week ago.

Stayed at HDR, convenient because you can charge your bar tab/meals etc to your room. The casino is open a little earlier than when I was last down there, they open at 11 am now.

Not much has changed, I thought the talent level was down a few notches. Not nearly as many Columbianas and Nicas as in past trips. Not sure why that is. Only a couple girls that I would classify at 10's, more in the 7-9 range.

$100 is still the opening bid. Don't pay more than $60. $80.

Key Largo was hopping on the weekends, as always.

Bartenders & waitresses at the BM/HRD and KL will hit you up for shots. They've been warned that they need to get their sales up. One gringo was buying two chica's shots in KL, little did he know until the 5th round that the shots were $11 a piece. He was pissed, but little he could do at that point. I believe they were friends of the chica bartender. Just a warning.

Had problems with the ATMs inside the HDR on Saturday. Message on both said "bank unavailable. " According to the hotel manager, the connection to USA banks was the problem. There is a small indoor mall across from the New York Bar that has several machines that are secure and dispense U. S currency. They are located on the 1st floor.

At the airport leaving on Sunday, the line to get through immigration was almost outside the airport. The airport is undergoing some major construction so we had to take shuttle busses from the gate to the plane (AA). The line for arriving passengers to go through immigration was all the way inside the terminal. So expect delays, arriving and departing.

I was told the new Prez doesn't take power until May 1st.

I am coming in town next week and plan to enjoy some social research with local peoples. I like the idea of checking out the area by the hospital.

Any good mall experience?

Check out the San Pedro Mall - about 3 miles East from the downtown area - Del Rey Hotel....via taxi - about $ 2-3.00 or regular city bus - about 40 cents. You will need to ask around where to catch the bus....but it will be down on 2nd Ave.

The mall is nice, with a good selection or stores, movies and a good food court for eats.

Looking for a fair-priced hotel with air-con, room safe, hot water, & clean. Hoping to find something near the Del Rey so I can bring girls back from there. Looking for a place that charges nothing for bringing the chica back or small amount.
A $50 per night place would be great. Is this completely unrealistic?

Also hoping to find brown-skinned girls from Nicaragua and Domincan Republic under 24 years of age. Is Del Rey my best bet for good looking girls matching this description?

Check out the Hotel Castillo, or the Dunn Inn Hotel, La Amastad Hotel...all within walking distance of the Del Rey Hotel and all chica friendly - around the $ 50.00 range, and none of them charges any extra chica fees

i am looking into two hotels in the future. i will stay at the hotel parque del lago on my next trip, because i consider it my headquarters. i will ask the sportsmans lodge and the morazan if i can look at their rooms.

the location is ideal, but the area is not good at night. they are cheap and chica friendly according to other members reports. the downtown area is really happening.

i went into hdr (the pink castle), on a friday at 1pm. this was the weekend of the elections. there were a few (all good looking) girls sitting around, the casino was not open yet, the bar had a small crowd of gringos. i didn't really like the hdr guards with those hand-held metal detectors, sends a bad message.

i like hpdl because it is close to the hospital and a lot of the girls that work there eat at the many restaurants nearby. i love getting with the local girls. i just buy them lunch and ask them about their city, either i hook up with them or they direct me to someone.

one week before presidenta chinchilla became president, i saw her on al punto-to the point, a spanish politics type show. she basically said she was going to help women and children.

she did not go into detail, but i would not be surprised if she shuts down alot of places that she "feels" are exploiting women.

i am cuban and mr. fidel made speeches that won over the people and when he got into office, he changed gears and did something else. who knows what is on presidenta chinchilla's mind. i keep reading conflicting reports about cr. one minute, prostitution is legal (lawfully or over looked?) and then you read stories of places closing down, and hotels not being chica-friendly.

just my observation (and i intend to sit down with locals-men, and find out what they think) but i feel they are trying to clean up the city.

i love cr, the people were really nice to me, they drive on the same side of the road, one of the few places i would rent a car. crime wasn't prevalent during the day, most places suffer from night-time crime.

i don't know what the principle source of income is for the people of sj, but they appear to have an okay life. i would move there tomorrow, if i had a retirement.

i think if there is a movement to clean up the city, it will be done low key. i don't think they want it to be known as a concern. maybe they want to increase their tourist trade by being more upscale to foreign travelers. when i researched the hotels on the travel websites, a lot of reviews showed people complaining about the chicas and warned them not to go there.
