Next to my final day here in San Jose. I am planning on returning to the states tomorrow - Friday.

So finally the wait was over at about 10:30 am local time on Friday the 4th. My wing man picked me up from my home and we were off to paradise, Costa Rica.

At the courtyard we met up with the guy from earlier and talked to few others. What happened between Vanessa and me on Saturday was a joke compared to this girl. Hazel I miss you darling. Hazel gave me her phone number and email address to keep in touch with her. The more I see of things here in San Jose, the more impressed I am with the Sportsmans Lodge Hotel setup.

We ate dinner there last night, and things look pretty good there.
I have not personally stayed there, but I have been in their rooms. It is a very nice place, has everything you need......nice rooms, good bar and restaurant, mini bars and refrigs. in the rooms, P4P girls working there, and is American owned and managed. It is well located in Barrio Amon.....close to the center of the Gulch ....about 6 blocks down to the Del Rey.

I met the owner last year when I had Thanksgiving Dinner there....nice guy who really knows how to run a hotel correctly.

Wish the place was within my limited budget to stay there in one of their rooms but I just can´t justify paying $ 60.00 plus a night for a room.

Their big rooms and suites are very deluxe and are a little higher.....so guess if money is not a real roadblock for you...then this would be my recommendation of a nice comfy place to stay in San Jose.....probably as good or better than most other places that I have seen.

El Presidente is still a pretty good choice for gringos to stay....but they have changed their policies and now charge chica fees and have a dress code for women...which means they are no longer considered very chica friendly.

I also visited-checked out the Little Havana Hotel....formerly the Zona Blue yesterday. They have made some good changes there with some fresh remodeling and such. Bar is not much bigger and nicer. Their rooms are OK. Quoted prices were $ 80.00 for a regular room and up for a suite....but that also included a session with the girls who work there for only $ 25.00 a pop (which came with the room).

There were about 20 girls working there yesterday afternoon - around 5 PM when we dropped by. A lot of them looked very young...guess they must have been at least 18, but some looked about 15 or 16. That might be a plus for some guys looking for the younger girls.

I asked for the famous Pamella, and was told that she was not working yesterday....Tues. but would be back again at work on Wed. at 12 Noon.

I probably would not session with her. but I just I would like to get a look at her. I am well aware of the reports about her and her sister with their lesbo act....and really the other girl is not her sister....and she was there yesterday...so I met her....nothing much to get excited about with her (looks).

The girls quoted a regular session for $ 45.00.....but that was if you were not staying there in one of the rooms.

He was throwing hundred dollar bills around like confetti. My buddy said to me, Hey lets go along for the ride.

After about 20 minutes his bar tab at the Del Rey was just over $ 200.00. He gave me the money, and had me pay that, and I then became his banker for the rest of the evening.

By then there were about 4 girls surrounding him, and we then went across the street to the Key Largo for drinks and to dance some.

I had gone over to the Key Largo, and being the hustler that I am, had chatted up three other beautiful girls.....a gal from Romania, and two gals from Brazil....all lookers.

I invited them to join us for drinks and a party later on after we would leave the Key Largo. The three gals and I had a nice chat but they did not join us at our table at the Key Largo.....leaving instead. Oh Well....their loss.

At the Key Largo Bill handed me a couple of hundred dollars and told me to pay for the drinks for our table when they were delivered....which I did.

This is my 5th day being back in San Jose, CR.

I have visited Veronicas MP 3 times, and of course the Del Rey Hotel, and Sportsmans Lodge a few times. Nothing much changed about SJ.
I have observed that there seem to be more gilrs now working out of the Sportsman Lodge than previously.
Overall business at the mongering locations seems to be down a little....like at the Del Rey....some fewer girls working, and some fewer mongers around over what it was a year and a half ago before the worsened economy.

Will be going over to Pantera Rosa tonight to check it out, and will report more later.

just got back from sj, cr and had to stay although i had a great time, i was kind of disappointed with a few things about hotel little havana. i originally wanted to stay at the sportsman lodge, but since i am retarded, i waited till the last minute and they were sold out.

a lot of info is missing on the website, and kinda bothered me, prices of the room, a us phone number, address and directions. i must say i was very impressed with the response as far as emails, however, a simple thing like putting the address or directions on the website.(forgive me if i am retarded, and couldn't find it) but it wasn't on there. they claimed to have a secure way to handle cc info, which is one of the reasons i didn't book the sportsman lodge a long time ago, since i was uncomfortable telling credit card info over the phone.

he emailed me some info to give the driver, but the driver never heard of it. he called a couple people on his cell phone, but eventually was able to find it. the bottom line was, the driver was able to find it, but it made me uncomfortable, when i was given instructions from the hotel to give to the cab driver, and it didn't help at all, and he had to make a bunch of phone calls to find it.

in addition, i noticed on several occasions, taxi drivers not knowing where this place is, and i am not sure if it is because they just changed the name, or inexperienced taxi drivers or what. even the business card on my keys with the map was kind of confusing and didn't have an address, or have all the streets labeled. i would say about 30% of the chicas i talked too, knew where this place was.

first i need to state that i planned my reservation at the very last minute and was happy to be able to find a room, that did not charge for bringing chica's back. i was grateful that i had a decent room and could not expect the best room in the place, but although the room was real nice, clean and all, it was right behind the bar wall, and music and chicas are heard all day. i stayed in the 221 room which is the sancho panza. i also had no window, which might have been a good thing since i bumped into some fellow mongerers, and they said they could hear all the street noise from the streets, they also complained the internet and cable did not work in the suites. everything in my room was in tiptop shape, and they were kind enough to let me use the computer in the office.

the staff was very helpful and curteous, from the bartender, front desk and house keeping.

after i unpacked, got my first tica ($25) for guests at hotel little havana, i got a cab to the super market to pick up some drinks, toiletries, snacks etc. when i got back, i found out my room had no refrigerator. i peeked in some of the other rooms after guests left, and noticed no refrigerators. not a deal breaker or nor did it ruin my mongering at all, but as beautiful the rooms are decorated and looked, the price i paid (which is not priced on the website) i mean they spent money on putting flat screen tv's in all the rooms but no mini fridge? it just didn't add up.

overall i had a great time mongering in san jose, and although i had a couple of bad encounters, which i hope to report later, everything was great. however some improvements need to be made. i will be back, but not as a guest of the hotel.

Lap dances are 4,500 colones, which include a drink for the girl and last until the girl finishes the drink. There are booths behind the stage which formerly were used for "private dances" but during my last two trips I was escorted to rooms in the back which have a couch. Cost is 14,500 colones when you take a chica to the room which includes full service with all of the girls myself and my friends have taken(except for one that my friend had a problem with because she asked for addtional money up front before she would do anything but dance). My sessions have lasted 15-20 minutes depending on the girl.

During my last two trips there were about 30-40 girls(mostly nicas and ticas, but also girls from the Dominican Republic, Panama, and Colombia). Many beautiful girls and a great value. I have a favorite there, a Dominican chica, who is fantastic.

They also apparently have rooms up stairs where you can take a chica for an hour. I was quoted $150 US the only time I inquired and declined. Have a great time and let us know how it goes.

I just had the free dinner buffet at the Colonial Casino next door to the Del Rey Hotel.

They have it every Fri and Sat evening at 8 PM All you need to get it is to play the slots some before the buffet starts then they come around and give you a ticket for the buffet.

Pretty good tonight....salads, bread, drink, rice, vegs. roast pork and sliced beef and a dessert. Not bad for free.

I am now at the Del Rey Hotel, and there is a better crowd here tonight. There are perhaps 60 or so gals here and about 40 to 50 mongers.....guys.

I usually only come here to look at the gals....and see if there are any old timers who I know....gals or guys. Tonight a lady named Sandy and her daugther were my guests for the buffet at the Colonial-

It is my first night back in San Jose.....from being here a year ago.

I am at the Del Rey Hotel now, and walking around to see the sights.

It is a Wed. night....about 9 PM, but there are about half of the people here that I am used to seeing from a year ago.

Guess the economy has had an effect on the number of Gringos coming here.

I have seen a few old times....gringos who are living here, and they are still here.

I have been coming to San Jose for about 5 years, and have an inexpensive hotel which to stay in which is less than $ 20.00 a night....but they do not have any air conditioning.....I wish someone would clue me into a nice place to stay for say $ 20.00 a night that was not to far out of town, had AC and was fairly safe and secure.

Anybody know where a place like that is.....it does not have to be particullary Chica friendly....as I seldom want to take a gal up to my hotel.

What are the best female friendly hotels there?

If it's your very first time in CR, for sure, stay at the Sportsmen's Lodge or the Hotel Del Rey. SL has girls on the property much of the time. The Hotel Del Rey is ground zero.

The digs at Hotel Del Rey are a little used and it can be a little noisy. THe digs at Sportsmen's Lodge are really nice and new.

The other hotels mentioned by another poster are for taking your dates back for a session, they do not have girls on the property.
