Don't for a minute think that you're in the U.S. Guys go to SJ for pretty much one reason - the chicas. I've not seen any m/f couples cruising the bar scene for another girl, IMHO. Maybe it's is more likely to happen in the resort areas where couples do go.

I was there Friday and Saturday two weeks ago and I wasn't impressed at all. Most of the girls were 7's at best but more concerning there were like 100 men to 15 women.

I wanted this to be a good place, as an alternative to the Del Rey which is ok but pricey, but I was not impressed.

I heard so much about this place that I had to check it out on New Years Eve. Big mistake! While the place is upscale, the ratio of men to women was unacceptable. We are talking 30-40 men for 4-5 women. There was one that was a 8-9 and the guy she was with kept her on a short leash. I checked out the Del ray the last two nights. While it is much more packed, the number of stunners has averaged less than 3. No regrets. I have been wanting to see Costa Rica for a long time now. I think Golden Time in Panama is the crown jewel of Central America and Rio is king of all of the Americas. Just my opinion. Please let me know if I should check out a different place in San Jose.

Idem is closed on Sundays. While it might technically be open until midnight, I recommend initiating a session no later than 10pm. I have seen Roberto close up shop as early as 11pm. If the club is hopping, I imagine you could begin things as late as 11pm, giving you a full hour before closing. I have never arrived there before 5, but I do believe it opens at 3.

Day 1(Friday):

This is my 2nd trip and after many hours of RTFF I have decided to post from this past trip. I spent a week in san jose with a 2 day weekend in Jaco Beach.

Jaco beach was fairly quiet for a weekend. The weather was realy warm. But not uncomfortable. Hotel prices were very good. You can bargain as it is still not high season.

Spent an hour with Pamela at ZB on first day. She is a good way to get things going. ZB has been renovated. This girl really knows how to please. She gives a great BBBJ and really loves sex.
