I am finding that a VIP room purchase in Zona Norte is becoming a good value. Depending on how much they charge. I prefer a half hours time.

Poor sessions in the hotel are becoming too much for me to absorb. I feel you will get more in a VIP room that just a fischa and your likely to get a lot more time. I've done everything from making out to fingering to BBBJ (though this is becoming less common).

No, you'd never get fined for trying to cross with an expired passport LOL. They'd just put you though additional procedures to prove you're a citizen. I've never been through it myself but have heard it can take anywhere from a few minutes to perhaps a couple of hours or more.

Yeah, my passport expired just last spring (2020) during the height of COVID which was a real pain. But I applied for renewal late last year when processing times got back closer to normal and had the renewed passport back in time for my next trip. So maybe if you don't plan on going back for a long time, try to re-apply right after you come back from this trip. Worst case, if you really want to go to Tijuana during the processing time, take your driver's license, explain that your passport is in the process of being renewed (which is actually the truth), and just pay the bribe. They'll still let you in from what I've heard.

But in Europe you pay $20-$50 for a 15 or 30 minute session with a girl. Now Mexico is far poorer country so you would think that the prices would be more reasonable. My guess is that since Tijuana is close to the border that the majority of the guys are tourists in the Zona. But Amsterdam gets primarily tourists and the window girls are not charging $100 min.

Not only haggle, but be cavalier about it. From my personal experience, chicks always seem to start at 100. Respond with 60. You'd be surprised how many will say OK.

The rules would be the same as the last time you crossed. Technically you're not allowed to cross the border with an expired passport but Mexican customs pretty much always lets you cross with a $20/$30 bribe. It seems you were somehow able to cross the last time without paying anything so would just try the same strategy you tried the last time and see what happens. Am very surprised they let you cross the last time without paying a bribe but maybe they're getting more lax on that or maybe you just got lucky and crossed at the right time I don't know. But your worst case scenario is you'll just have to pay a bribe. Wouldn't worry about not getting in.

Technically, the passport is also supposed to be valid (non-expired) coming back into the USA But my experience there (having crossed twice with a recently expired passport last year during the height of COVID) is that USA Customs doesn't care if the passport is expired. They just scan it and let you through most of the time without saying anything. There is a chance USA Customs sends you to secondary though.

Well everything blew up price wise in Tijuana maybe 6 months before covid and has continued to increase about 15 to 30% a year, depending on what you are talking about. From VIP card, 6 month visitor pass fees into Mexico, hotel Cascadas prices, decreased discounts with VIP card, lap dance increased couple dollars, hotels on revolution increased. It's a rich mans game now. Seriously if you go every week you better be rich. I used to go with 40 bucks three years ago and get sex and hotel beers and meal.

Considering last time I might have gotten lucky and not had to pay the $20 bribe to cross by simply 'forgetting' my passport. What are the rules around trying to cross with an expired one?

Passport expired back in June. If I present the passport and say SORRY I just noticed my passport is expired. Would they still let me cross? Or is it really just better to pretend like I forgot mine?

What is the best time of day and day of the week to avoid those lines?
