I am thinking about down there tomorrow (8/12) but don't feel like doing alone. Anyone care to join and make a new friend a long the way?

Great report. I love Hotel Ticuan too, it's a great bang for the buck. There's a little MP type place a block up the road called New Wave, it's a little cheaper drink wise and a pretty relaxed vibe there, you may want to check it out next time. Unfortunately last time I was there I wanted to try Las Pulgas but they were having some famous band playing so it was ridiculous. I have heard that's a great place to pick up a girl. I love the story about all the kidnappings, I'm sure Americans are getting kidnapped all the time and it is a conspiracy that the news is covering up. Ha ha. I have a bunch of friends that think it's too dangerous to go to Tijuana but yet they've never even tried it nor do they have any proof to back up the danger.

Fortunately, there are a lot of tourists around these days although Tijuana would like verymuch to return to the old days of "shoulder to shoulder" on Revolution. I find that the people who come here now understand the black PR and are unaffected by it. It's actually better in some ways because the people that DO come here know how to behave, and that makes it better for everyone.

So to those still afraid to make the trip because they believe the cartels are waiting to make lunch meat out of you, I have only one word to write: BOO!

Headed to Tijuana last Thursday to celebrate GF's belated birthday. First stop was Hotel Ticuan to secure internet reservation. I belive you save about 5 dollars to pre book the room. It was my first time staying at Ticuan, I decided to spend the extra. 3 since this was sort of a special occasion. Now Iam afraid I'am spoiled the room was great I don't think I will be able to stay at any of those shit bag hotels again. Since all my recent trips have ended with a night of drinking at Las Pulgas the location of Ticuan is perfect only steps away from Las Pulgas, no more driving through the streets of Tijuana with a drunk chica at the wheel.

Stopped by Adelita's I think it was the best I have ever seen it as far as girl to guy ratio. I felt like I was in a fishbowl there were many eyes watching me, just waiting for our eyes to meet. I did strike up a conversation with one of the few guys that was there. He was telling me about the two familes that own most of the places in the zona, and he was somehow related to one of them. He also spoke about someone in the family who was connected to the Chicago Club being kidnapped. And he was warning me that I shouldn't be out past sundow in Tijuana by myself, due to many kidnappings. Not sure if there is any truth to any of that. Also got a tour of the new construction from one of the chicas.

Stopped by Tropical to check it out since it has been receiving some honorable mention on her as far as chica quality. It was all good exept yes the music is a bit loud. Still trying to figure out how they got there addition done so fast. I think the owners of Adelita hired the wrong construction crew there project seems to be taking forever.

It was about 6 pm and I was getting anxious to go see my favorite. I should know by now the less time I spend with her at the bar while she is working the more money I will save. Now I did arrange with her previously, that if she wanted to bring some friends to Las Pulgas to celebrate her birthday I would buy the drinks. I wasn't at Las Chavales very long and her two friends joined us. YIKES! After two rounds at a bit over 20 dollars a round I had to put the brakes on that. Thank god for 8 pm.

Me and the the 3 beautiful ladies got a cab and headed for Las Pulgas (where were all my fellow mongers. I probably need to find a wingman one of these days). On the way to Las Pulgas we were stopped at a light and a parade of a couple hundred bicycles went by, not sure what that was all about. But it was kind of funny when the chicas started hanging out of the cab hooting and holloring at the bikers.

Las pulgas was alot of fun and was not that expensive. A round of about 9 dollars was good for 2 beers per person. Since I did not receive the usual undivided attention from my chica my eyes had a chance to wander. Not really sure but my fellow Americanos may have a chance of finding some civilian action in this place. Of course it would take alot more work than in the Zona. Well about 12:30 a. M. Things were getting pretty hot between me and my chica, lots of touching and rubbing on the dance floor. So without even saying good bye she took me by the hand and led me outside.

Oh yea I forgot to mention I did call her on her actual birthday she was talking a mile a minute and I couldn't understand a word she was saying. It turns out she had crashed her car, her family ended up with bumps and bruises and she was taken to jail. She claims they let her out of jail when they determined the accident occured because her brakes didn't work. I don't know if that makes any sense, but DAMN these girls sure have alot of drama in there lives. I know I have been warned about getting involved with these ladies. But I guess this is one of those life experiences you have to let play out and live and learn.

So once we got outside the street in front of Las Pulgas was closed and we ended up around the corner in front of Ticuan, she thought we were going to get a cab but I started leading her into the Hotel, she stopped in her tracks and wouldn't go inside she kept saying no to much money. I finally had to show her the room key and said sorry to late I already have a room. She gave in and we headed to the room. On a side note I had left the AC on and the room was an ice box great place to spend a hot summer night. The only problem was no one wanted to get out of the bed in the morning it was to cold.

Anyway it was a great trip headed to the border around 11 a. M. The line was the longest I ever saw it, but it moved really quick it only took about an hour.

The reason I ask is that their website advertises rooms at 21US per night. That's way better than the cost of a room on the US side of the border. Heck, it's better than Ticuan (at about 50US per night) or many other places. Better than the dumps close to the Zona.

The photos make the rooms look nice. Maybe even worth it. So is the neighborhood safe? And what about transportation? Is it easy to get a cab ride from there to the zona?

Yes, I'm cheap, but I don't want to blow my savings on taxi rides or put up with other inconveniences. I want to blow my savings on chicas instead.

Most of those places are for short term affairs. They can make more money with turn over rather than renting it for the night. However I've read on another forum that you can work out something from mon-thurs then they want you to leave. As always confirm any and all information.

I made a quick run for the border on Saturday. I did my usual Amtrak / trolley run. The Amtrak was super busy with people going to Del Mar. It was about a half hour late.

I got to Tijuana at about 3:00 PM, and made my first stop a Hong Kong. It was busy with the day just starting to roll. It seemed to me that there were more VGL ladies than the week before, but I also think that this was true of most of the Gringo haunts. Hotter than h*ll, as usual in the bar. Pretty much the same sh*t different day, except for the quality of women was at a higher level. I was sitting near the bath in the upper level and a lady that was dancing on the bar. She looked at me a smiled, which is not unusual, marketing 101 for them. I was just generally looking around when she came down and sat on my lap. I think she said her name was Marisa (at least it began with an M). She is probably about 25, strong pretty Latina look, with a nice slim natural body. She said she was from Mexico City and had been in town for 2 months. Wearing a red bustier type of outfit. She promised the world, and didn't want any drinks but to go up arriba ahora. In la cama she was very expressive having to bite her lip a few times since apparently she did want her screams to leave the room. Other than CBJ (which I don't really mind) , she was pretty much GFE. She really enjoys kissing, and DFK was mandatory with her from the start. She charged $60. 00 with no drinks wanted, or propina asked for. All in all a very good session and I would repeat.

Tropical was a real pleasure again. I wish they didn't play the music so loud, and I usually enjoy loud music. The quality of women was way up again, after a disappointment last week. I like the 2 for 1 drinks also. The waiters kept bringing women by for me, but I had just been arriba in HK, so it was a no go. I will say that the quality of women they brought by was very high. It will be nice when they finish the new side of the bar.

Adelita's appeared slow for the first part of the night, but then later there were many VGL women. For some reason Adelita's is becoming less in favor with me. I think it is the standing around with the hand on the hip, bopping to the music. I still do have some favorita's there, but it is losing some of its luster. If Tropical can become more consistent, it will probably be moving up on the list ahead of Adelita's.

Las Chavelas seemed about the only of the big 5 bars in the Zona where the quality was down. It also seemd like the street scene was really down. I would say that there was only about 30 percent of what it had been previously.

I finished at Chicago Club and had a nice session with my current favorita. As was said in another thread you can get comfortable with some of these ladies. I think that we may be reaching that point, so it may be time to move on, and become friends in the bar only. The quality of the session was GFE as usual.

All in all I think that the percentage of ladies who were VGL was way up over last week. To me, it just shows how fluid the scene is in Tijuana. One minute it's hot, the next minute it's not.

I won't be back in town for two weeks, so it will be interesting to see the quality of chica's the next time.

The problem develops when you mis-read her like for you as some sort of promise that a condition will exist with her into the future. The ONLY condition that will exist will be the condition of client (you) , and provider (her). That is unless you are willing to change your life.

Wise words. Even with my favorite SG novias that I have known for many years, they are working and I am playing. We are warm and friendly with each other, but I am a good customer and they good sex providers. We play nice together. We aren't friends, really, but we are friendly. I give money and they give sex, companionship, and affection. It works outs great for what we both seek. By the time we get there, we forgot all about the grand plans and just start looking for someone to nail. But there are so many choices. Confusion, confusion. Living next to a candy store just makes you go back for more and more and more.

But it's OK to like the girls. They happen to be people, too. In fact, mongers should add appreciation to their kit. Why? Because the quality of your session could depend on it. Most girls will deliver a good session to a good attitude and respectful demeanor, even if they are rats. You can set the tone for the session and give her a "benchmark." Hey Guitar, You sound like a realy nice guy. A bit nieve. I'm just giving my two cents, but you have to remember. 1st and formost, these bar girls and sws are in for the money. Like someone said," do you think a young beautiful girl you just met will be your toy if not for the money?" Its a fantasy! Leave the love at home. God knows they are. No arguments here. I am a scorpio, and in my travels, I have knack for getting myself into troubles like this. There have been times when things turned out to be sweet and great (we can talk about which part of the world this happen over an ice cold one but I digress).

I guess all I am looking for is a way to harden myself (no pun intended.). To be more resilient to the temptations of young, hot nubile chicks by allowing myself to fall into this briefly, just enough to see that she is in it for the money (maybe, most of the time) , and then finally realize that I am sick of dealing with this particular individual.

That being said, I can't help to derive a little joy and satisfaction knowing (or,"imagining") that I somehow have caused a working girl to develop some interest in me (see'mon guys, all of us do like to think that our dicks are actually bigger than they are right.). Maybe if it is just something that temporarily gives me a place to hide from the harsh realities of corporate america.

I admire you for trying to change, but I've seen so few that can I don't know if it is possible for some and impossible for others. I can tell you this I act only 2 ways with girls, I either shower them and tell them I want to get married, or I ignore them and treat them like crap. Either way in the back of my head I know that they are only there for my amusement and when something better comes along I will jump on it. I think as long as you think like that you will be ok and I think your numbers of girls who fall for you will go up especially the really hot ones. Remember the hotter they are odds are the more insecure, which means the shittier you treat them the better. Regardless if you treat them good or not if you are thinking that they are just a piece of meat it will work the same. I don't know how it works and can't explain it but when you really turn into a asshole regardless of how you treat them they will still like you more. If you're really interested there's lots of books you can read that will help you pick up girls, over come objections like not wanting to have sex, all that good stuff. It may sound cold and it is, but I'd rather be cold and have tons of women than be nice and not have any.

It was nice to see that someone could take another's point of view as it was intended, and not a knock on ones self. Country John posts many good thoughts. I am a better person for reading and taking in his words.

I understand that this is P4P and they are all in it for the money. If it wasn't for the money, do you think that women 1/3 to 1/2 my age would be going arriba with me. Of course they wouldn't. That does not mean that they are not real women, with hopes, dreams, and desires. They want to feel special, especially since they have to do what they are doing. I have a current favorita (which is very unlike me) , half my age, that will sit with me for a great deal of time, refuse more drinks, and is very passionate (GFE type) in la cama. She says that she likes me because "I make her happy". When we come back down she goes about her business of making money from drinks, and going arriba if she chooses. I will often sit in the bar while this is happening, and it serves many purposes. She can continue to make money instead of counting on me for more to just sit with me. I will ride this horse until it ends, and then NEXT!

I don't think that you need to "harden" yourself. There is nothing wrong with caring. If I can make a suggestion; there is a place in your body that when you are with a woman you like, and actually want, that you can feel intensely. It could be in your chest area, or possibly your head. Understand that when you get this feeling it is not serving you well. At that moment that you realize this feeling, step into yourself and thank it for showing you where you don't want to go. She seems to have tested your limits and developed parameters. You're good for an $80. 00 session (that works out to about $900 pesos, a lot of money for a few hours work). You might be good for more, she will have to continue working you to find out how much.

Soon, you'll get the message that her dad needs a brain operation and she needs to wire $2, 000 back to some place deeeeep in Mexico, or he will most certainly die. My girlfriends father died about four times before he actually did kick the bucket in my living room three years ago.

IN your situation, you might be able to sit down at your kitchen table and map your entire route to retirement. You can budget, you have credit, you have a steady income that you can see well into the future. Not so here. It's day to day, or week to week. There is no other profession that will bring her an income that will support her entire family like the sex industry. If she can line up several clients like you, she will be set for as long as she can keep you interested and excited (marketing).

It is totally OK for you to like her. It is totally OK for her to like you. Nothing wrong with that.
