I've been a long time monger in Tijuana and I usually frequent Adelitas and the SWs. The bars usually charge $60 for the girl and $12 for the room for 30 min. The SW on average charge $30 for the usual and $6 for the room for roughly the same time. The SWs on the ninos heroes side of the back alley are usually $20, but not as pretty. My question is there a bar or SWs that provide LT similar to Asian bars with multiple pops (at reasonable prices)? I remember during my early visits to Tijuana that there was streets near revolution where you can find MP where the girls line up and you pick and choose who to take to your hotel. CPB Staff are the most unpreditable bunch and as long as one avoids the secondary all is good.

Very busy on Sunday and Saturday. Lots of CA cars on the road in Tijuana. Family visit period for many. Had to hike to avoid all the traffic jam to the border at noon. Having one Xray machine and stalling does not help in processing.

Good thing I waited until Monday to return. At about 5 pm Looked like still a long wait in the general lane, however the ready lane was great 5 minute wait. One and done on the questions. However for some reason when I was cleared, I could not proceed sraight ahead as usual. I was directed to exit through a different lane as the agent yelled out a brief description along with he is good to go. Not sure what that was all about..

I did my usual run to see my "novia" in Tijuana. I have seen her for 2 1/2 years. Last night crossing (started at 7 pm) was THE WORST in my history. I have been in FAR longer lines in that time but 4 1/2 hours was fuckin ridiculous!. It took 3 hours to reach the pedestrian bridge. Once I finally reached the agent the were deliberately stalling. With the length of time, they were still asking their stupid questions, even looking at my "travel history" on the computer.

On a side note, I had my first encounter with the Policia in a long time. After getting dropped off by a taxi on a street far outside the Zona. Before we could even cross the street a police truck pulls up out of nowhere and wants to know what we are doing out on the street and where we are going. I let my amigas do the talking and didn't say a word. No searches and after a couple questions we were on the way. Then they were nice enough to provide some light so we could get the key in the gate lock. Maybe you run into a whole different breed of policia outside the Zona.

I have seen longer than normal airport security lines over last several days at Baltimore, Boston, Denver, Chicago, and New Orleans. Perhaps it is all related.

Glad I have global entry, which also gives you TSA prescreen and SENTRI.

I said to their faces they were fuckin assholes! 3 others in the store agreed! Then they said you just should get SENTRI so we don. T have to deal with you!

Anybody have experience buying legitimate cubanos in Tijuana? Its never occured to me to check that out while in town. A nice Cohiba could be a nice touch if available.

They don't really care about your reason. I told them that a friend had moved there and that I wanted Global Entry on my passport because at the time the closest place to interview for that was LA. Both were true but neither were essential reasons.

I said that I like to shop and eat in Tijuana and I don't want to wait in line when I get back. Simple as that.

I have been itching to go back to Tijuana since my first visit in '12 (previous report on it). I have learned a ton on this forum, so I figured this time I would be more prepared. My live in ex girlfriend was leaving town so timing worked out perfect. I planned to leave immediately after work around 5:30 pm but decided to shower since I wasn't smelling as fresh as I could LOL. I Just followed the crowd to the entrance. I don't remember the border being such a maze, going up and down stairs, filthy and Mexican police staring right into your eyes. There is a ramp to the right, some dude in a yellow shirt was directing people up to taxis; has anyone used this? I contiuend following the pack of people and some gentleman lead me to a cab. Super cool driver, loved Rolling Stones. Gave him $5 and he dropped me off across the street from AB (I jay walked, how bad is that in the zona?

I will say my last trip to the Zona was spent with two absolutely beautiful young things. One in Adelita and one in Hong Kong. They were 20-21 years old and as cute and pretty as any girl that age. I know what it is like. I cross back from Mexicali and the lines should only take 45 minutes but take close to 2 hours. I have said the same thing to the agents and they give me the same response. I just tell them that if I didn't go to Mexico, they wouldn't have a job.
