Great news! Have also personally confirmed through a girl I know down there that the bars opened tonight. Though I am wondering why we are just finding out about the openings on the same day? Did the bars, bar workers, etc. Just find out today or was this a decision that had already been made a few days ago? Would seem if they knew they would be opening it would've been to their benefit to announce via their social media platforms 1-2 days in advance but that never happened. Would assume some Avenida Revolucion bars, breweries, and restaurants will also be opening indoor services to some capacity, which is great.

Apparently the bars are starting to re-open today. Reports on the CB forum say Chicago is open as I write this. Other bars are supposedly getting ready to open with cleaning crews.

Okay, Zona Norte is where street prostitution is legal. It's a few blocks long / wide, not sure exactly where the borders are, but that is irrelevant because you should not be venturing out of the "block" where HK is located and it's immediate vicinity. There are "SG's" who are pimped and assigned a specific spot to stand. Then there are "SW's" who are freelancers and roam as they please. Most are drug-addicted Americanas.

Then there are girls who work inside the bars. But the bars are "closed" so they work inside the associated hotels. Cascadas and Rizo de Oro have lounges or converted penthouses they use as puta bars. Cascadas I don't know if they serve drinks. I haven't seen it but I only visited two nights. Rizo definitely does.

If you're asking about street girls, I imagine that you're more of a budget monger and not as interested in the higher-priced BG's. SW will pretty much go to any hotel around the block they are not banned from. SG's are assigned a hotel but many will go to other hotels in the vicinity such as Cascadas, sometimes for a nominal fee.

Right now, as you might guess pickings are slim. On any given weeknight there may be 35 or so SG's available. So just keep that in mind. If you need more help pay the upgrade fee to get PM access.

If you are mainly interested in just street girls, I would recommend La Caretta Hotel. It's somewhat modern, only about 5 years old or so. It's located right in the heart of the alley. I'm guessing price is around $30/ night. If you are interested in lounging, having a few drinks and having BG's available, I would recommend Rizo de Oro. Cost is maybe $50/ night.

Looking for recommendations for my first trip down to Tijuana. I know all the clubs and bars are closed but I will be doing some street mongering so I hoping you guys could recommend some good hotels that will allow guest to come back with me. Also if you can let me know where all the hot spots for the best looking sw that would be greatly appreciated!

For street mongering, you are pretty much limited to the Zona. SGs won't usually accompany you to an outside hotel -- most of them prefer to use the hotel they stand in front of, although some will go to other hotels in the Zona. It's almost unheard of for a SG to accompany you to a hotel outside of the Zona. If you don't want to stay at a Zona hotel, just get a room at whatever hotel you like and pay the extra $6 to use the street girl's room.

The "hot spots" for street girls are the alley behind Coahuila, and the streets perpendicular to it (Constitution and Ninos Heroes). Venturing past that gets you bottom-barrel women, and then trans-women.

Below is a list of daily budgets and what you might get for you budget. All budgets assume your staying overnight in a hotel so your in Tijuana 24/7 from the start to the finish of your vacation.

$50.

This is a bare bones budget. You will need to stay out of the zona at a really cheap $15-18 hotel. You'll have a budget for 1 SG and will have to eat at cheap local restaurants or taco stands and have just a few drinks at cheap regular bars.

$100.

You can stay at either Jalos (Chicago Club) or Adelitas Bar hotel. You should be able to have at least 2 possible 3 SGs a day. You could have 1 meal at Azul or Al Capones and some taco from a taco stand. Still probably want to avoid the bars at this budget range.

$150.

This would be enough daily budget for everything above but you could have 1 bar girl a day in addition to a street girl and could do a little drinking and tipping, but should avoid buying fischas.

$200.

You could upgrade to a weekday rate room at Cascades or Rizo De Orzo. You could eat a couple meals at Restaurant Azul. You could do 1 bar girl & 2 SGs a day. You can buy a few fischas a day and tip more at the bars.

$300.

Your up to the point where you could do 2 bar girls a day and also 1-2 SGs. You could eat all your meals at Azul and even splurge for a steak or two. You can buy more discuss but still not too many. Your also looking at a room with Jacuzzi at a zona hotel.

$500.

You could do almost an unlimited amount of SGs or 3-4 Bar girls and could start to consider doing doubles on a daily basis. You can eat or drink whatever you want assuming you not intending to buy a bottle. Any serious arriba candidate could buy a Fuchs for. You can definitely negotiate extended dates at this budget.

$1,000.

You could basically buy any bar girl you fancy a fischa and make out with and grope all day and night long. You could pretty much take up a bar girl every couple hours and maybe even do multiple doubles in a day. Depending on what hotel room you get, how much you eat & drink, and how many fischas you but. You could have anywhere from 5-10 Bar girls a day. This budget & even the $500 budget is pretty absurd for Tijuana.

Generally I think a $200-$300 budget a day is good and enough to have ample fun in Tijuana.

Have you read the forum much? That's a serious question, not being flippant.

There is no secret place with the hottest SGs. All of the SGs you'll be interested in are concentrated in the little alley called Callejon Coahuila. There are others scattered along Constitucion, although they tend to cater more to local tastes. The few you might find on Ninos Heroes are probably best avoided. Outside of the Zona Norte, aka The Zone of Tolerance, it is illegal for a lady to stand on the street and solicit business.

All of the SGs stand in front of "their" hotel. That is the hotel they use. *Some* will walk with you if you have a room at Cascadas (the one appended to Hong Kong), or Hotel Coahuila (appended to Adelita), or maybe Rizo de Oro (appended to Tropical). But they are often the minority. There are many reasons one won't go to another hotel, and that's a discussion for another time.

There are NO hotels outside of the Zona Norte where you can drag street girls. They won't go. The SG scene is pretty much a wham, bam, thank you Ma'am kind of experience.

Do NOT confuse the Paraditas, aka SGs, with their SW (streetwalker) counterparts. A SW in Tijuana is a drug-addicted girl with no place to stand on the wall, and no health papers, and possibly living in Tijuana illegally. You really want no part of that for your first trip.

Newbies are asking for a problem going to tijuana before it opens up. Your going to be walking around looking at everything a the in 1 second the whole street knows you are new. Once a cop gets on to that you have a problem or a street thug. Don't waste your time. Unless you go right to a hotel on revolution I'll and and avoid zona norte. If you walk without 100% full confidence of where you are going you will be in trouble since your not really supposed to be there.

Thanks for the advice. Even though it's my first time in Tijuana I have been plenty of places throughout Mexico, Europe, and Asia. You never want to look like that lost tourist because then your only asking for trouble. Was hoping on suggestions for hotels and maybe a few of your local favorites.
