Tijuana will really be a good spot if there comes a time when we can get the GFE inside the zona. It took Tijuana a long time to realize that sprucing the zona hotels would entice men to stay in Tijuana. Now all they need to realize is that some sort of GFE that men can get in other Latin American nations might entice more men to stay with Tijuana.

I agree with TA below. Why anyone would stay in San Ysidro post 9/11 is a mistery to me. Yeah just what I want to do when I am drunk and tired, pay $5 for a cab ride back to the border go stand in line for an hour+ so I can have the great privilege of staying at some stinky fleabag in San Ysidro for the same price as a nice room in the zona. Why waste several hours a day fucking around with homeland security, crooked cops, etc. For the "privilege" of sleeping on american soil a whole mile as the crow flies from the Hong Kong Club???? WHY WHY WHY?

Then the next day I can walk back to the border, pay $5 to go BACK to the zona, great idea and waste ANOTHER hour or so. The when I find a girl I am going to pay $5-15 to use a room for 15 or 30 minutes anyway, and instead of staying in my nice clean room drinking champagne in the jacuzzi for as long as I want for $60, some kid is gonna knock on my door and kick me out. If you guys have some masochistic streak, fine. I will be in my nice clean jacuzzi while you are wasting your time and licking cum off the pillow of some fleabag hotel as fast as you can before the cum-boy knocksso you can come here and brag to the rest of us about how you saved $20 by wasting hours of your time. Oh wait you didn't save anything, you paid $10 round trip for the taxi, wasted hours of your time, and then had to pay for a TEMPORARY cum-stained room in the zona anyway so you could get a quickie.

I disagree with you saying it's not safe to commute back and forth to San Ysidro. I do this every trip, w / o incident. If you are going to cross the border during the day back into the states, I would agree that's not a good idea. I come back after midnight and a 5 minute line is a long one.

Sometimes I stay in San Ysidro, sometimes in San Diego, seldom in Tijuana. It all works and I've had zero problems.

I've crossed the border 10 times in the last 2 weeks without incident. Longest line was back to the point where it doubles around off the sidewalk and onto the street; that was last Sunday evening around 10:00 and it took 1 hour and 5 minutes (I timed it). Three times I had less than 10-minute wait; those were all at about 8:00 PM. One weekday evening at about 7:30 PM there was absolutely no wait, but the agent said that an hour before it was all backed up.

Travel Addict is making sense here. In the old days, before 9/11, nobody would really consider staying in Tijuana. Cascades was a basic hotel. I knew some rooms in Cascades that actually shared an A / C back then.

But now there have been lots of improvements and as TA states you are, to an extent, in a better room than you can get in San Diego oftentimes for the same price. Try getting a jacuzzi suite for $65 in San Diego!

The other big advantage and change from the old days is the LONG wait in the border line. The wait can kill your trip, for sure. In fact, I know lots of guys who will fly to other areas rather than Tijuana just to avoid the waiting each day.

But TA is right, staying the zona will cut out the issue of the border line all together.

It is the only place the HK girls are allowed to go, AND you can enter with any s / g, who will think you area high class guy for not making her go in the stinky $5 room. The place was completely remodeled over 5mm a yr ago and most of these cheapskates you are talking to won't spring for an extra $20 for the nice rooms, LOL.

The jacuzzi suites are on the higher floors, very little noise from the club below. Great restaurants on the street, clean food, room service, if you are coming from out of town why fuck around to save $20? You got everything there on ONE BLOCK. Check out the pic of the room with the champagne and jacuzzi that's the actual room = $85 MINUS 20% for the VIP card. $20 higher Friday Saturday, Immaculate and safe, and you don't have to go gallivanting around in taxis. The street girls stand right outside the door to the Cascadas. After a coupla nights there, WITH 200+ to choose from within 100 mts of your room, you will know the whole area, have lots of friends, and THEN you may decide to try somewhere else.

Got my favorite room and the bellman took us up, before the door could even close I was being attacked by GF wanting sex. What is with these women south of the border they are so passionate. Great to see you again old friend.

I did hang out for a while til my gal came for me, she explained the situation, which I will spare the details (bet you will roll your eyes and say "wake up dude, what the fuck man!") , but it was a decent story nonetheless, wasn't too try-hard on her part to be too dramatic.

At the bottom of the pedestrian bridge ramp (on the way to cross into Mexico) , over a month ago I noticed a dog in the fenced in area, and I mentioned the pooch in the last report. Well, I was determine to feed the damn thing this time around. I went into Jack-in-the-Box to buy a cheap burger, but the line was way too long. So I went to MacDonald's and the line was worst. So not giving up, I stopped in a little store and decided to buy a big tasty muffin. I've had Labs in the past and they ate every damn thing in site. At the end of the ramp, I spotted the pooch and tried to call it over, it got closer, but kept its distance. I broke the muffin in half and launched the two halves towards the pooch. The dog went over, smelled the muffin, and then looked up and said,"Yo Gringo, ¿Dónde está la carne?" So much for that idea.

I ended the evening at Adelita. I will admit, that club has some of the hottest women in the Zona. I just wish that I could play with them for a lousy buck like I can in HK. And I seriously doubt if I could get away with half of the shit that I do in the booths in Adelita as I do in HK. I hung out with Guitarrefreak for awhile and just watched stunner after stunner walk by. I met and had a drink with one of the stunners and I found out to my surprise, that she lives in Oceanside and only comes down to Tijuana to work on the weekends. Phone numbers were exchanged. This might be a good thing, but these girls are so unpredictable; who in the hell knows?

there was a dog sniffing trap set-up before the first turnstile going into mexico. not sure what the dog was sniffing for, but it sure did take a liking to me. it sniffed my crotch, jumped up on my leg, my side, and as i kept walking, it jumped up on the back of my leg. as i'm holding my arms in the air, keeping at least two limbs protected, i asked the agent,"does the dog bite?" the asshole replied,"i don't know." i replied,"wait a damn minute, you are telling me that you are handling a dog and you don't know whether it bites or not?" the agent just ignored me completely.

around 3 in the afternoon, i head down the front entrance in hk and speedy is sitting next to the bottom of the ramp so i stopped and chatted for a couple of minutes, freddy was also there. i had my back to the crowd while chatting. and then i felt this shoulder and elbow slamming into me as hard as possible to get me out of the way, and i damn near went down. granted, i was on the ramp to exit the place, but there was still plenty of walking space. speedy yells out something to this bald headed latino and i looked at him with a "what the fuck? look. i gaffed it off and continued talking to speedy. out of the corner of my eye, i saw this dick coming down the ramp rather quickly, and before i could have reacted faster than i wanted to, i took a strong right hook to the side of my face. he turned and bolted, and speedy and freddy made a beeline after him, but to no avail. still not sure why that happened. my guess is that he was drunk and pissed about something, and i just happen to be an easy target while on his way out.

while sitting in the booth licking my wounds and still wondering wtf happen, i was determine to change the mood. lucky for me, the sg master artisttyp was in town and was on his way over. after some intellectual conversation, it was time to bring one of the ladies over for booth follies. i saw one of my favorites and it was game time. after about an hour of booth follies i was feeling a lot better about things, but not completely. because i called the day before and made an appointment with one of my favorite sgs, we bailed and hit the alley. and you can bet your ass that i was scanning that alley so i didn't run into my new found friend.

and then there were three. part 1.

my street girl gaffed out our date and stayed home, so with the recommendation of artisttyp, i quickly had a substitute. the sg and i headed over to the little corner store to stock up on some goodies for the upcoming hour session. we got some orange juice, vodka, ice and cups. then the moment of dread, i feel someone tugging on the back of my shirt. could this be my new hk buddy? i glance over at the sg and saw that she is looking down and smiling at the person behind me; whew! it was a little girl asking for change. i told her no. and then she did the little belly rub indicating she was hungry. i pointed to the taco stand just outside the store, and asked if she wanted a taco, and she said no. then she got this big smile on her face and yelled out something that meant potato chips. just at that moment her other siblings came running in. and when i said ok, they reacted like i told them i would take them to disneyland! yeah, i know it wasn't the healthiest thing to give them, but after being rejected earlier by a dog for my choice of food, i didn't feel too bad.

and then there were three. part 2.

after a great session, it turned out the sg was hungry; go figure. so we head to the fish taco stand for some great spicy shrimp tacos. artisttyp showed up at the same time. we sit down and were just about to order when i noticed two of the dressed like school girls sprinting across the street and they ended up right behind us. i looked at my sg and took a wild guess and asked,"amigas?" she smiled and nodded. i said, alright, i'm going out on a limb here and taking another wild guess that they are hungry as well. all three smiled and nodded. well hell, let's eat! it worked out well because i planned a 3-some with two of them in the near future.

on my way back to the zona from la estrella, i there was a sweetie that looked over and smiled while we were waiting for the light to change. i smiled back and said hello. then we crossed the road and she seemed to be waking fast and i was in no damn hurry, but then she slowed down and let me catch up with her. we started chatting, if you can call my shitty spanish chatting, and i ask her if she wants to have a drink. just then her friend walked up, and she seemed thirsty too. so we headed up to el torito's and sat outside and ordered some drinks, they each ordered a beer. when the server left, the negotiations started. both of them in my hotel for $60 each. i told them i was tired, had a hard enough day, and was headed back to sd shortly; so no thank you was my answer. the first girl said that she wanted money for both of them just to sit there and have a drink with me. my first question was,"do i look that fucking stupid?" which could have been answered either way at that point. my second question was,"are you out of your fucking mind?" they got the message, got up and left. the server came back with my two wendy's cups full of margaritas and two unopened beers, which stayed unopened.

I think a lot depends on how long she was in the business. The longer, the more damaged, IMO. Of course, exceptions abound, but, in general, I think that adage is true.

I've had civvies and hookers "fall in love" with me, and the "love" you receive is, somehow, different. It's hard to really put your finger on the differences, but it's there. I guess maybe it's the feeling that if money gets tight, or other problems crop up, she'll always resort to hooking. A non-hooker would never consider that. If you can live with that, great. If not, best to reconsider.
