    3. Is it safe to cross the border into Mexico at 10 pm?
    1. As the previous poster pointed out, an ATM is the best place to get pesos. However, check with your bank first! Any savings, and often much more, may be eaten up in foreign transaction fees. That's why I've started traveling overseas with a bunch of $100 bills. My bank's $5 fees, combined with the in-country bank's $5 fees, make the ATM a money-losing proposition. So, check first.

As far as specific places, the place immediately inside the border, on the left, is one of the worst. The rates at the one behind the yellow taxi stand are usually a bit better. Avoid the ones on Articulo 123. They are the very worst. The best rates in LZN are usually at the cambio next to the cop shop on Constitucion, across from the alley. And the one immediately around the corner on Coahuila. However, the rates go down at night. The best overall rates will be found outside the zona. There are a couple near Ticual that have good rates. The best is on Ninos Heroes, IIRC, south of Ticuan, west side of street. It's a bank inside an appliance store. But I tried to exchange a $100 bill a while back. The lady wanted I'd. I gave her my passport card. She looked at it and said no, she needed a driver's license! WTF? I didn't have it, she wouldn't take the passport card (probably never seen one before). I got my lady friend to exchange it for me.

Most folks here are familiar with the process, but I'll elaborate in case any newbies are reading this. The terminology can be a bit confusing for the uninitiated. All the TJ cambio booths post COMPRA and VENTA rates. These ALWAYS refer to DOLLARS. COMPRA = We buy your dollars at xx.xxxx pesos per dollar. VENTA = We will sell you dollars at yy.yyyy pesos per dollar. Their commission is always built into the exchange rate and buy/sell spread. Very few actually charge an explicit commission. So, obviously, you're looking for someplace with the highest COMPRA figure, and NO COMISION.

BTW, many banks have a foreign exchange desk. That's the very best place to exchange money. However, many do not. You'll have to ask. And banks keep "bankers hours." So, if you arrive at night, a bank isn't an option. But it's something to bear in mind.

    2. The most important phrase is probably "Donde estan los banos" or DOHN-day est-AN lohs BAN-yohs. Where are the bathrooms. As far as your specific requests, be prepared for a lot of rejection. They exist, but they are rare. Try something like this: "Queiro sexo oral sin condon" (key-ERR-oh SEX-oh oh-RAL seen con-DOHN) I want oral sex without a condom. It's a bit more polite than other ways. Use the same for anal, except say ah-NAHL instead of oral sin condon. Again, be prepared for a lot of rejection. Speaking in gross generalities, older ladies tend to do these more often than the young hotties.

    3. Tijuana is the busiest land crossing in the USA. It's a 24 hour operation. It's always safe to cross. Walking around Tijuana is pretty safe, overall, and probably much safer than wandering around San Ysidro. But use the taxi if it's your first time. No sense in getting lost.

No. 1: There are numerous places to convert dollars to pesos in Tijuana and also in San Ysidro, the USA city adjacent to Tijuana. The rates vary from place to place, and some have hidden commissions. The best I've found is on San Ysidro Blvd, in San Ysidro (directly across the border from Tijuana). Good rates and no commission. But, IMHO, the best plan is simply to withdraw money as you need it from an ATM. Tijuana has lots of ATMs, in the nice hotels, banks, even OXXO, the Tijuana version of Seven Eleven. You often get a better rate with fewer fees that way. But if you use an ATM in Tijuana, be careful of the ATM scam where a stranger volunteers to "help" you use the machine and then switches your card for a bogus one.

No. 2: If you have to ask at this point, it's probably too late."Cuanto?" (how much?) and "cuanto cuesta?" (how much does it cost?) will cover a lot of ground with these girls."Hola" and "buenos dias" are great social lubricants to start off. Before you leave home, try to learn a few basic numbers in Spanish (so you can count up to fifty, or maybe sixty-if something costs more than sixty, you probably want to walk away anyway). Everything else you can pantomime. Rest assured, these gals have had the same questions posed to them in many different languages on multiple occasions. They understand the customers and will know how to respond. If you're really concerned about the language barrier, stick to the chicas who speak some English (usually the bar girls, as opposed to the street girls).

No. 3: Crossing into Mexico is never a big safety issue at any time until you get past the Yellow Taxi stand (if you go straight ahead after the turnstiles) , or the pharmacies (if you make a turn right after the turnstiles). The best advice is to grab a taxi for $5 or less. If you've already spent the money to fly to Tijuana and are staying in a hotel, hire a taxi and have peace of mind. I would seriously avoid walking to the ZN or el centro at any time of day or night. It's a bit of a hike (especially with luggage) , and you do pass through some unsavory areas of downtown.

    Ink

While I don't necessarily have a preference about chicas with tattoos, I've enjoyed chicas without ink, a couple tats, and many tats. Sometimes I don't even pay attention to the ink, and sometimes I compliment them on a design or location. But I don't know what's up with a chica who has a religious design tattoo. I saw this chica who had a tat of Jesus on her back. Now I've already got over the experience of some chica wearing a crucifix on her necklace, and having it bounce against me while she's giving me a BJ. I just wonder what goes through a chicas mind when she decides to get Jesus on her back. Not what I want to see when I'm hitting that ass.

    Gents,

The first time I was at Rizo de Oro hotel in Zona Norte, the front desk guy offer me a new room with jacuzzi tub for only $35 USD a night instead the regular room which I had on reservation for $25 USD. Of course, I took the offer with a big smile because I like to have the Chica with me in the tub for awhile at no extra charge. The beauty of Rizo de Oro is next to Tropical bar and across HK. The hotel has just recently upgrade with all new interior, new bathroom, I Don't think I can go wrong with this hotel in Zona Norte with the price and hotel condition.

I am totally with you regarding how it is convenience to stay over night in Zona Norte. Yes, the Rizo de Oro hotel is a good deal. The hotel has just completed upgrade their room, at least very comfy to sleep. I had the Jacuzzi in the room and cost me only $35 USD per night. I Don't think you can have that good deal anywhere in T. J. I used to stay in different hotel in Zona Norte and it was not nearly close to average motel elsewhere and still cost $25 USD per night. I absolutely can bring the Chica Tropical to my room for no extra room cost and play with her in Jacuzzi for hours. That why I like this hotel. I heard the hacienda del Santiago also good. May be cost more and need to walk couple blocks from HK.

    Hong Kong:

After a couple of world class tasty tacos, I headed into one of my favorite stomping grounds. I haven't been in a couple of weeks due to my Managua trip and I had the HK shakes. There were many new girls on station, plus the usual late afternoon crew. There was one girl that I've been watching for a while, hot as hell, but always sits in a booth forever and a day. I asked Freddy what was the deal with her and he replied,"She's a bit*h, don't waste your time." There is a "floater" that is always drinking beer, who is on my HK bucket list, bar name, Candy. The girl is always tanked, but I like that. She always stops over for a beer and plays well in the booth. The girl has the smallest pussy in HK!

Later on in the evening, around 9, I returned and the place was pretty much packed. Yes, mucho machachos, but also a buttload of women. I ran into Marlin, the dark chica with the killer ass, but she must be the worst fuck in HK. I was happy to play with her ass for a few minutes. She tried to get me to go upstairs, but I already experienced the worst fuck in HK; no repeating that for sure. BTW, has anyone fucked the body builder with the hottest ass in the western hemisphere? She is on my HK bucket list as well.

    Caesars Restaurant and Hotel:

I met one of my favorite girls at Caesars for dinner. We started out at the bar, where my buddy, the big bartender had us sampling different tequilas, and we settled on the Montana Azul; which was excellent. For those that don't know, Caesars created the original Caesar salad. I'm not a big salad person, but I really like this one.

After dinner, we decided to try out the hotel, hell, it was next door. We got a remolded room with a king size bed for $41, plus a $10 deposit. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and room. Everything was new, and the room was really quiet. The girl at the front desk spoke English and was quite a hoot as well.

I didn't stay the night. I made my way through beautiful San Ysidro to hit the nearest I-5 ramp around 10:30.
Your Managua Report on the "other" forum was great as this one is great as well. Thanks for sharing, I may even put Managua on the list, its not a bucket list is a I got work to do list.

Went down south for the h / k calendar event. Just like the previous poster wrote, the jib parking is closed for now. Since it was a weekday, I parked across the street from jib. It's only $5. 00 for 10 hours if you prepay. I believe during the weekend hours it's $6. 00 for 8 hours.

My plan was to go to h / k pickup a calendar, have fun with a chica then come on home. It never works out that way.

I get to h / k early, it's about 3:00 pm Lots of the chicas are in white dresses with their sashes on. Looking pretty good. I get a drink and ask the waiter when will they pass out the calendars. He says in about an hour or so.

I see many doable chicas but not one that stands out. So I just tip the dollars to grope the chicas as they pass by. Did I mention how hot it was in h / k. I was wondering why nobody was sitting upstairs, well it was because it was so hot up there.

So I stay for about an hour, no calendar give out so I head over to t / be, figuring I can always come back for the calendar. This report will be in the t / be section.

I then come back to h / k. Still no calendars so I see a chica to my liking and take her up. This will be in the h / k section.

When all said and done, it was about 7:15 still no calendars so I decided even without the calendar, it was still alot of fun. I guess the calendar give-away was just an excuse for me to go down south.

Before going home I stopped at the restaurant across from A / be. I usually get chicken tacos and their home made fries. For me their fries are like how I fry them at home.

After eating I catch a cab, the driver says $3. 00, I say let's go. The line back to the border was just below the pedrestrian bridge. Good thing I have the sentri. Or so I thought. I get to the gate and ask the officer where the line for the sentri was. At this time the line was stopped and I could see the line just on the other side of the gate was about 10 feet from the gate. The officer says there is only one line none for sentri but to go through the gate and wait behind the people in line.

Since I was only 10 feet from the gate I'am thinking this line is going to take about an hour to get out. What I didn't realize until I got closer, they are not using the normal building. We come through and enter the building to the right as soon as you get past the gates.

It only took about 8 minutes from the gate to get back into the USA.

Anyways, does anyone know how long it will be without the sentri line? Or was it just the time I went that they didn't have one? Thanks in advance.

Also, did anyone actually get a calendar, and was it worth it?

With very decent room quietly to sleep, new room with new bathroom. Another bonus is I don't have to pay room cost when taking a Chica from Tropical bar to my room.

So, that is a saving 10usd. To me. This works out great, I can stay out late at the HK, Adelitas, and only walk a few steps to my room.

In the end, the monger should spend the night in the Zona Norte hotel, a right mind like Albert Enstein also agree too.

    Regardung Kitchenette

Ok I take that back about never using the kitchen. Yes the refrigerator would come in very handy. Since I never went in the kitchen I never even knew there was a refrigerator. But I could never see myself cooking with the worlds greatest tacos right down the street.
