Posts: 175Tijuana is in Baja California Norte, so that would make it a different state from where Cabo is.

Currency will probably fall but not by very much. My guess is 11 pesos to the dollar.

Posts: 175I live in Tijuana, and this is what I'm hearing about the election: Bars will be closed thoughout Mexico, but Tijuana will be the exception. The reason is that since Tijuana is so close to the border and the election is so close to July 4th, the area will lose too much money. The only areas allowed to be open, however, are in the entertainment zones (Revolucion, Zona Norte).
I'm not stating this as fact, but this is what the locals are telling me.

Guys,
The Mexican Federal elections are coming up next weekend. I believe that Sunday July 2nd is the day they go to the polls. I don't want to be accused of sprading false information, but I believe all bars in the country must be CLOSED that day, including ones in the zone. If you're heading down to TJ for the Independence Day weekend, you may want to plan on doing something else on Sunday. There may still be some SG action, but I would imagine most of the clubs will be closed unless they are not serving alcohol (unlikely). I have never been there on an election day, so I do not know for sure. This is just what I hear from the locals.
Depending on the outcome of the election, you may see their currency stay where it is now (~10.5 pesos / USD) or it may fall significantly as it has in the past. Stay tuned.

Posts: 25What i heard is that you need a prescription from a Mexican doctor. To play it safe I would also take my American precription so that if you're stopped at the border, you're covered either way.
Next time I go I intend to ask one of the larger pharmacies how to get a prescription, But maybe someone here already knows??

Has anyone see a woman named Lisa near the alley? She's about 39 y/o, mexican american - very fair skin with big juggs, wavy hair & tattoos on her tits (Ricardo in cursive). I fucked her last year in a hotel on the alley. She was from san diego - a DJ she said. But living in TJ, and generally didn't go to the states. Interesting. I figured she was either hiding out from the law or keeping close to a supply. She enjoyed our sex so much she actually invited me to her apartment a few blocks away next to the Molina. Unfortunately, she had a boyfriend who payed for many of her expenses & got in the way. So, my multiple encounter got cut short. Just interested to see if she was still around.

Now, you're in a country with scarce resources, babe (bless your heart). I don't see outreach coming to take any girls to rehab. It's got to be an awful position to be in.

Does anyone knows how much is a prescription in TJ?
And where in the border is the nearest clinic?
Why do I need a prescription in TJ when you don't really need one, I'm thinking to buy blood pressure medicine, this is an average drug I shouldn't have any problem I guess ? But maybe someone knows better?
I can take an empty bottle with me to TJ with the medicine brand and with ny name on it in case the policia want to give me a hard time, can always show that I'm currently talking the drug and is legally prescribed by a U.S doctor. I'm new to it so if you know the best and safest way to do it please pm me some info thanks.

Posts: 3First Experience from a Newbie
Spent 2 days (the past weekend) in TJ, and thanks for O'Tools Guide, I had a good time. I would like to feed back to the forum since O'Tools might be somewhat outdated. It is still extremely useful though. Being a Canadian without any spanish and experience even in SoCal, I owe O'Tool big time.
Accommodation:
I stayed at the Days Inn in Chula Vista Friday and Saturday nights. The rate after tax is 108usd, above my budget. The room is small; decor is old. The worst part is the shower, which runs with a cycle of 20 secondw with very cold and very hot water, sufficient to cause a third degree burn. If I didn't have my luggage with me, some TJ hotels could be a better option.
Parking:
Accurate information. I parked at the first lot though where the TJ shutter is, because of the light and the traffic, which provide perhaps a false sense of security. I didn't have no trouble though. The drawback is it is quite a walk when coming back from Mexico. It is fine in the day, but walking alone after midnight was kind of scary. The rate is 7 usd perday. The recommend lot by O'Tool has gone up to 9usd.
Entering Mexico:
No problem at all. It was a leisure walk around noon, when the temperature was just right.
Taxi:
5 usd to Adelita and 5 back to Sentra. Taxi driver knew where I was heading to as soon as I got into the car.
Adelita:
The best Amongst the 3 I have been: Adelita, Chicago and Hong Kong. I watched Mexico vs Angelo there. All girls were available for hugs and kisses during the game.
There were also good selections there, slightly more at night though. Picked a hottie, blonde of 24 years from ???. She told me, but I could not catch the name. She started with oral, then cowgirl, doggie and the traditional to end the 30 minute session. Total damage was 60 usd plus 12 usd for room and 2 usd for tips (?) to the guy wearing a security vest.
I did another girl, aged 21 at night, and again the usual routines and same damage. O'Tool is right. The hard bodied hottie frequented at the central while the college type ones stayed at the back. I was very interested in a young college look girl with a pretty face. She is not tall but turns myfantasy on. No luck because she was occupied and then taken out.
Girls were very aggressive. At least half of them had approached me for drinks or going up.
Beer is 3.75 usd. Girls drinks are 7.
Chicago:
No talent at all. Very disappointing and very quiet. I left before mid-night, but according to O'Tool, hot girls would come in after the wee hours.
Hong Kong:
I was confused with the system there, since I don't speak spanish. Is it a strip club only? Is there a hotel upstairs, just like Adelita and Chicago? I spent all my one dollar note there. Also had a girl to dance for me for 2 songs. 20 usd damage.
Beer is 4 usd, with buy one get one free promotion. girls drinks are 7, I believe.
HK is not a bad place to past time. I stayed there for about 4 hours each day and the total was about 40. Not bad. Unlike Adelita, girls there were not aggressive.
Alley:
Quality is extremely poor. There were at least 200 of them any time during the day or at night, but none of them was worth banging. I did 2 though. The first one was a Mayan, very short with very small tilts. We agreed 20 plus 5 for the room plus 1 for the tips. She would take her her skirt and asked me for 10 more for removing her tops and 10 more for oral. It is O'Tools fault he didn't tell us newbies how to monger in the alley. I refused, but kept banging her for 20 minutes before finish. After I walked out, I remember the phrase sina ropa.
The second time was a young 19 year old with a typical native face and very dark skin. I asked for the top removed before striking a deal and she agreed. Damn it. I forgot to ask for oral, another mistake, which cost me 10.
Food:
It seems taco is the only thing available in Mexico. 1 dollar a piece. I am not sure if I over paid. The most "exciting" part was the oyster cocktail. Back home, oyster is cheap and I love it. I spent an hour before the stall watching mexican and grave american eating the cocktail, before I decided to give it a try. I didn't get sick though. Lucky me.
Overall experience:
Not bad. Quality wise, Eastern Europe is better. Cost wise, DR and Asia are cheaper. Next time I have to go to LA for meetings again, I will pop by TJ for sure. It is geographical so close. That's it.
EDITOR'S NOTE: I certainly hope that the author or somebody else will post a link to this report in the Reports of Distinction thread.

Posts: 7[Anybody else been to Rosarito?]
Rosarito can be fun. There's some good places for cheap fresh seafood and there are atleast two clean resort type hotels.
The last time I went, a waiter at one of the restaurants at the Plaza Fiesta recommended a little strip place called Chicks N' Beer. I don't know if the place is still there but it's a great place to kill time. There are some 7's-10's at that place and I found out that if you have a good rapport with your server (remember his name), there's some 1st rate take-out that can be arranged.
If you don't want take-out, the VIP room can be a lot of fun if you pick a "fun" girl.
The only drawback to this joint is that most of the girls allow community feeding when they're doing their stage show. That means that a girl might come up to you and give you a mouthful of 10 other guys' spit.
Have fun.

Posts: 307Found a gringa tricking off of the alley(on the hill) last Friday. I did not catch her name, however, she claimed to be originally from Maryland, and currently resides in Pt. Loma. Also, only works 3 weekdays out of the week. WTF?
Times are tough, I guess...
